There was some issues with verse application with the release of Domino V12, but have been resolved in recent fixpacks ### 3. It's got an easy interface. You cannot unsend an email here like outlook so be careful there. Sometimes copied formatting gets messed up. Priorities for email can be done but notifications of it are not so perfectly done. **Recommendations to others considering HCL Verse:** It is a nice email software earlier it was IBM notes now it is HCL Verse, It is surely a better deal compare to Outlook **What problems is HCL Verse solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is our day to day business email software, It saves time and keeps records of communication that is legit. ### 8. Okay email client **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Michael L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020 **What do you like best about HCL Verse?** What I like best about HCL Verse is that it can plug into the Lotus Notes database that my company used to use and put it into a light either mobile or browser client that allows me to view the content quickly and browse through it. **What do you dislike about HCL Verse?** What I dislike about the verse email client the most is the ability to search. One of the crucial elements of an email client is being able to find old emails. Often times with verse I do a search for something that might not be that old and the search feature struggles to find what I'm looking for. The search feature also fails to be able to search across different folders so if I'm looking for something in a sent email it will not find the thread within my inbox. **Recommendations to others considering HCL Verse:** Ensure that this email client will satisfy your needs from a productivity stand point. I think it works great if you are coming from a legacy lotus note installation, but there are much more modern email and productivity suites out there. Those do come at a premium but that is something you will have to evaluate in your decision making. **What problems is HCL Verse solving and how is that benefiting you?** With HCL Verse I am solving the problem of offline communication and sharing. Verse gets the information I need to me when I need it via email but only if I keep things as actions and unread emails can I persist data that I need to find in the near future. ### 10. Kind of cool to have a bar showing your day at bottom of email. **What do you dislike about HCL Verse?** Everything else. Everything else is barely serviceable. **What problems is HCL Verse solving and how is that benefiting you?** Email for a-synch comms and calendaring.
