You need Exod **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Callie C. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021 **What do you like best about EXOD.ai?** Simple to use; founder shares tips and insights in his communication channels frequently and he's really experienced in digital marketing so you get free training along with Exod.ai It takes the guesswork out of running FB campaigns and is particularly useful for newbies like myself There's also constant updates and upgrades with features or new tools that revolve around FB marketing **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** Support can be slow and even though the problem is acknowledged with a proposed date for resolution (by them), these deadlines are not met However, to be fair to them, they are a small team now and have a lot to deal with with their recent campaigns. Goes to show how successful their campaigns are! **Recommendations to others considering EXOD.ai:** If you value customer support a lot, exod may not be the right fit as support is really very very very slow. But version 1 (when it was working) is pretty nice to use and I was pleasantly surprised by the results considering that I'm a noob when it comes to FB ads. Kevin also seems to be a marketer who knows what he's doing so that's always a plus point I guess **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** A more cost and time efficient way of running FB ads for higher ROI and conversion. They actually built a new version from the ground up and it's due to be released in a few days. If it's better than version 1, there's hope for even beginners to be on top of the FB game ### 2. Had the product been what they said it would be, this would have been a great platform. **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** The founders made A LOT of promises and delivered on none. I invested almost 1,000 into this platform and it fell flat on its face. **Recommendations to others considering EXOD.ai:** Don't do it. By now there are plenty of platforms offering something similar that actually work. **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** None. The platform never really worked. ### 3. If you can't find what you are looking for the team will add it for you! **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** I can't really say that I dislike anything so far. As they are a start-up though, some extra bonuses like the Exod Classroom aren't ready just yet. However the support team seem to be great and seem to offer a helping hand whenever they can from what I've seen in the Discord channel, and the FB page too. **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was approached by a client who wanted help targeting a specific niche to pull in leads. I was going to do this with SEO which would have taken a long time. You can run a new campaign within minutes even if you're a complete beginner. For experienced media buyer, you will be able to test a ton of audience without wasting hours creating your campaign. The team is really responsive and make sure your question is answered and you are being taken care of. **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** So far so good, there's no issue on my side but in nature, I'm not a complainer! **Recommendations to others considering EXOD.ai:** If you're new to Facebook advertising, you should stop wasting your time looking at youtube videos trying to figure what to do and try this tool it will cut your learning curve in half and with the support at Exod you'll be unstoppable! **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saving time creating a campaign with lots of assets. He is constantly on top of comments and questions in his Facebook group and Discord channel. I feel secure knowing he will answer my questions and support any issues that may come up for me with my exod.so account. He genuinely seems to care about taking EVERY bit of feedback so that he can create a freakin awesome product that works for us. The creative support, the technology, and the vision all feel like they have a solid foundation and a reliable future. **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** Minor things because it is a startup product, but Kevin always addresses them and works on sorting them out. Yet, here is EXOD that makes it as easy as clicking a few buttons to do what normally took hours upon hours! The founder Kevin and his team are all great people that are behind this and I'm a big proponent of when coming in contact with such great people, I know the product will only get better and better. This is one of the reasons their support is awesome. You got a problem? They got a solution. Fast. All in all very happy about the company. **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** Nothing. The only way for these guys is - up. I would like to mention that some important features for me are not yet present. But the team is making great efforts to include suggestions of their users to make their product not good but great. With an already simple to use product, the progress they will make will blow competitors out of the water. **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping clients much more efficiently. We used to run into problems with running too many campaigns and optimizing them indivudally. EXOD takes that off the table for us, which saves us a bunch of time. Our own advertising has become much simpler because of their A.I niches targeting audiences. This enables us to spend less to get people on the phone with us, to be able to serve them in the best way possible. ### 8. Very promising tool. I feel like i am touching a product of the cuture. It needs some learning curve but it is not that hard to learn more about it. **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** It does not have a proper account management area yet with email. You login with facebook credentials. Some other members have mentioned that their ads account on facebook was blocked and they had to talk to Facebook to remove the automated ban. But after communication with the team, they informed the community it is not something that it is EXOD's issue, rather the way that Facebook treats this kind of applications. I have to admit that this is something that worries me, even though my facebook account did not have any issues **Recommendations to others considering EXOD.ai:** Give it a try and you will see whether it is good for you. **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** I like the automation that it provides on creating new ads without having to invest much time or money to a specific industry. We often come accross with a variety of clients that will come and do not how how to give you some guidance on their industry. It is amazing what ai can do for your if you let it work. It will try to change the material used in the ad and try to find the best money spent for the ad. ### 9. I have already tested various niches in the case of our shop and some of the interests that exod has selected for me I would certainly not have come across on my own. In fact, we have been able to reduce the cost of our Facebook ads thanks to the app. What I consider to be equally important is support. Sometimes I have the impression that the Exod team sits on discord 24/7 and answers users' questions :) **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** Above all, I would like the exod to cover the entire funnel - for now, I will use it primarily to create campaigns from the top of the funnel. A funnel builder would be useful :). I think that the authors should also work on the UX of the application and on some of its functions that are visible to users but do not quite work. For example, the statistics and analysis module - I don't think it works very well from the beginning - fortunately, I look more often at the statistics available in Facebook's business manager. Also, the option to promote posts that are published - this would also be an interesting feature. The last thing that comes to my mind is the possibility of additional targeting (e.g. narrowing by age, the possibility of narrowing by radius) **Recommendations to others considering EXOD.ai:** If you're starting out with Facebook Ads and don't know who you should be targeting - Exod is for you. If you already run campaigns on Facebook, you want to test other groups of recipients - exod is for you. If you want to speed up your workflow - exod is for you. **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Exod has allowed me to create Facebook Ads campaigns faster, better targeting through quick A/B testing on different target groups. Personally, I often struggled to choose graphics for some of my ads. Thanks to Exod's integration with shutterstock and the mechanism of automatic selection of photos for an ad, I can forget about this problem :) ### 10. Also, access to Shutterstock images inline is pretty sweet. **What do you dislike about EXOD.ai?** The absence of mapping functionality when you're building your audience is pretty inconvenient. I'd like to see this expanded so that you can drop a pin and add a location (like Facebook native) **Recommendations to others considering EXOD.ai:** EXOD is a very interesting alternative to other platforms on the market. Ultimately, while some of the other big names may be a bit more well established, I expect EXOD will grow because of their uniqueness. To my knowledge, no one else is offering AI built audiences and Shutterstock images inline. I would recommend this product with the caveat that you continually test to make sure the AI is "paying" for itself. **What problems is EXOD.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've only been using it for a short time but it seems that the audience AI does indeed help with conversion.
