When working with a rather large number of associates who want to track fund balances, the transactions that make it up as well as donor and donation information in one place, this product does all of this in one small package. We are working with a number of associates who have a varying degree of skill level in computer systems and we are finding that they are able to understand the key parts and activity quickly. Being able to send them to one place for the information is perfect. Troy did a great job of trying to understand our needs making things fit into the current system. There is a rather simplistic interface for working with users but here again, it does the job and is quick and easy to setup. Troy also did a good job of helping us to get a large number of associates into the system quickly. **What do you dislike about DonorHub?** Because of the simplicity, there is little ability to configure the system outside of the box. We had to modify how we did things a little but in the end it worked. We found out that we could connect this to our donor system and to our financial system only to find out later that we had to spend an additional $2,000 to have the proper rights in our financial system to make the connection work. While the price for DonorHub is minimal, one has to be aware upfront of the potential of additional costs to connect it to the financial system. This may not be the case for all ERPs but it was for Sage Intacct. **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to give 200 associates personal access to ministry funds so that they could make appropriate decisions with their funding. They also are communicating with partners who are helping them to see that there is sufficient funds for ministry. ### 4. It's hard to over-emphasize the difference this made. **What do you dislike about DonorHub?** No significant dislikes. It's true that an integration may take a little bit, but they did not even charge for a new custom integration. **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visibility into donations and donors. This helps us know who starts, when they start, and who has missed or even dropped off. Only with this information can we care for donors well. ### 5. If I had to be picky I guess the graphics could be updated. **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorHub helped our ministry overcome challenges of comminucating what was available in budgets. The nature of our ministry is that we are spread out. We have ministers in all different Time Zones and DonorHub allows them to get the access to the information they need on a regular basis. ### 7. The move was very smooth, almost entirely without our effort involved. The support from Troy has been amazing, and he accommodated a few of our special needs very quickly. From a user perspective, we're able to synchronize more data elements more reliably using DonorHub. On top of that, our users have the option of using the entirely web-based MPDX solution with this platform if they like. Great experience and great value. **What do you dislike about DonorHub?** Really haven't found a downside, other than the relatively minor monetary cost vs. a self-hosted. (though of course the actual cost of self-hosted was much higher in effort.) **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorHub allows us to feed supporter data and donation information to our self-supported staff wherever they are. This allows staff to be very responsive to their supporters. ### 9. The other stand out for us so far has been the great support from Troy who has 'gone the extra mile' to help us integrate the system with a new CRM and resolve an issues that occurred. **What do you dislike about DonorHub?** So far we haven't discovered anything significant to dislike, it does the job well. The DonorHub product can be used as-is, or with the MPDX connection. **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had been using MPDX and other donor management tools, but they were not in sync with our finance software, so they did not show a live balance. A lot of time was required for manual maintenance of the donor CRMs which staff previously used. Requests and needs to our finance team were reduced because of the visibility this provided directly to our staff who needed the data. ### 20. It has been one of the best user experiences I have ever had with an integrated program that migrates information for users to access and detail. **Recommendations to others considering DonorHub:** Donor Hub is a great tool. Troy, who runs Donor Hub, is so wonderful to work with and makes the user experience phenomenal. Specifically, Donor Hub syncs gift data, so I don't have to manually track down donations. **What do you dislike about DonorHub?** Donor Hub recently switched from a free service to a paid subscription, which was unexpected. Further, data goes through their servers, and as an organization we are not able to control that (especially with respect to security, though we've had no specific security issues). **Recommendations to others considering DonorHub:** Research what the needs of your staff are and compare features. There are other donation management systems out there, this is just the one my organization uses. **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows for easier donation tracking for each of our staff members, which is especially helpful as they get busier in their missionary work, they probably aren't going to take time to track donations. ### 25. DonorHub works after hours while our office is closed. there is no need to have to wait on a lagging computer trying to upload while its being used by a staffer. **Recommendations to others considering DonorHub:** Use the Whole TNTWare Suite of products they work together seamlessly. **What problems is DonorHub solving and how is that benefiting you?** We no longer have to spend time running quickbooks reports and emailing them out to our staff. they can see this information at their leisure with the click of a mouse anytime they are available. ### 26. We love the fact that from the administrative side, we can update the recorded information at the home office and make it immediately available to our field staff. Staff morale is definitely higher because of this.
