"New customer to Building Engines. The team developed worked with us to get the product we need."

I like that we can pick and choose what attributes we need for our particular business. The staff was helpful in setting everything up for us and continues to be helpful with our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

There were two platforms (as Building Engines was updating) and it was confusing when trying to explain problems or help our tenants if they were having problems putting in work orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable Search and Filtering Make Prism a Standout Upgrade"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

We recently transferred from Building Engines to Prism. In comparison, I really like all the search and filtering features of Prism. As a company with 90+ properties in the system it is really helpful to be able to create your own layouts for filtering and customization.

I also really like the bulk update options, whether updating work orders, contact information, or property lists it is helpful to be able to do so in bulk all at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I would say one of the biggest downsides in Prism is not knowing where to look for certain actions. Different actions can be selected from the checkboxes on the left, the three dots on the right, the actions tab at the top of the screen, and within the workorders/PMs themselves. This makes is confusing know where to look for specific actions.

Our company has also had issues with the communications section, which is different from the original building engines layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Task Management with Some Editing Hurdles"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

I use Building Engines to keep my work orders in one place and organized. It's handy to make comments and add photos, and I like that I can view old work orders. Sometimes, instead of creating a new work order, I look to see if there was the same problem in the past and open the closed work order, which helps me see how the situation was handled before. The task prioritization feature keeps me focused since I have a lot to do and sometimes it's hard to prioritize. Overall, the initial setup was seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I cannot edit comments once I submit them. I cannot add a second paragraph to the comment. It would be great to edit a comment or delete it, particularly if you find you made a spelling error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Platform for Efficient Property Management"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

Building Engines makes managing properties simple & efficient. I love how it centralizes work orders, compliance tracking, and tenant communications—all in one user-friendly platform. Implementation was straightforward, the platform is intuitive, and I use it weekly. Integration across multiple properties is seamless. I also enjoyed the Prism courses on JLLT University, which helped me earn my Prism User Certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Building Engines?

I don’t really have any dislikes—Building Engines is very user-friendly. The one time I had an issue with the filter not properly separating users between my two properties, a software update resolved it, and I haven’t encountered any problems since then Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Team Communication and Easy Setup"
What do you like best about Building Engines?

I find Building Engines to be extremely beneficial for my role in property management. I love how it makes it effortless for the entire team to stay informed about issues within the building. This system eliminates the need for one person to individually inform everyone, as everyone is already in the loop, which significantly reduces the volume of emails I receive regarding maintenance and access cards. This effective communication system streamlines our workflow, saving precious time and effort. I also appreciate being able to view the name, company, and location of someone who submits a work order. This feature is incredibly useful for following up with tenants and promptly addressing the specific locations of issues. Additionally, I found the initial setup process of Building Engines to be exceptionally easy and efficient, which greatly facilitated a smooth transition to using this system. Due to these features, I highly value Building Engines and have rated my likelihood of recommending it to a friend or colleague as a 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The management of different calendars for maintenance, such as monthly, semi-annual, and quarterly, is not satisfactory.
