Blink allows both top down and bottom up communication that I did not find in other sites as I searched for our new Internal Communication tool. Every platform I demoed had some really strong features, but each lacked in one area or another that was really important to our company. Blink was the only one that had every feature we needed, on top of being very clean, sleek and user-friendly. From both a user and admin perspective, the platform is incredibly intuitive and takes very little training. Features like being able to access shared Media and Docs between one or multiple users in a chat or through the directory have proven to be very effective. I love that Blink can replace several systems, as it is not only a chat system, but a place to put out news and a well-organized intranet. It was important that whatever we chose served as a one-stop-shop and I believe that we accomplished that by choosing Blink. I refer to it as an underdog, because I initially had no expectation that I would chose Blink. In my initial research, there were several other big players that I had expected that I would be choosing between, but in an effort to do my due diligence, I wanted to present leadership with a handful of options and how they compared. Initially, Blink was really just brought in to have additional comparison, but after my first demo, I was hooked. It was truly a clear winner, checking off all of our boxes. I have to be honest and say that I was surprised, but once I got to experience Blink first hand, there was no question I had made the right choice for our organization. There are still some features that I am waiting for, but have been assured that everything I have requested is on their list to look into at some point. Those requests have been relatively small, like the ability to choose from multiple different reactions on a post or the ability to upload videos - which I understand is coming very soon. The biggest complaint from my organization is that they would like to be able to do video calls through Blink, as that would allow us to roll yet another system in to Blink and replace Zoom. I don't know if that will ever be the case, but I recognize that there are things that we just won't be able to accomplish in one system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
