**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I use Birdeye for reputation management and take advantage of pretty much all of its AI tools. I love how it makes automating reviews easy, so we don't have to reach out to clients ourselves. Scheduling social media posts is a breeze, and the feature where it writes posts for us is fantastic—I simply approve them, and they go live. I'm also enjoying the Search AI, and while we're still learning more about it, I can already see it benefiting us by identifying gaps in our marketing. Setting up Birdeye was a piece of cake, and I appreciate that they help us with setting up our clients' sites or accounts if needed.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

Can't think of anything. Perhaps how long it takes to setup each client.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye makes automating reviews easy, so we save time by not reaching out to clients ourselves and scheduling social media posts is simple. I love that it writes posts too. The Search AI is also helping us find holes in our marketing.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I like how Birdeye helps us monitor reviews for our company online and push positive reviews to our social media channels. It's valuable to have a heads up on both negative and positive reviews as they come in, allowing us to address them promptly. I appreciate the feature where Birdeye automatically answers many of the positive reviews for us, though I prefer to personally handle negative ones. Additionally, the customer service is very good, making it easy to add or remove accounts without issues.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

There's nothing that I dislike about Birdeye. There are times when we may not use all of the features, but that's simply because we don't need them at that time.

Birdeye helps us monitor online reviews, giving us alerts for negative feedback so we can investigate and resolve issues. It also allows us to promote positive reviews on social media and has AI-generated responses for positive feedback, enhancing our online reputation management.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

What I like most is how Birdeye centralizes everything—reviews, listings, messaging, and social—into one clean platform. It makes it much easier to manage our online reputation across multiple locations without jumping between tools. The automation around review requests has been especially valuable, helping us consistently generate new reviews with minimal manual effort. It’s also fairly intuitive for our team, which makes adoption and day-to-day use smooth.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

The UI, while generally clean, can take some time to fully learn when digging into more advanced features. Some features feel a bit hidden, especially when it comes to customizing templates or workflows across multiple locations. Overall, nothing that’s a dealbreaker.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye solves the challenge of managing online reputation and local presence for our fitness franchise at scale. Before, reviews, listings, and messaging were fragmented across platforms, which made it difficult to stay consistent and responsive. Now, everything is streamlined in one place, allowing us to respond faster, generate more reviews, and maintain accurate business information across locations. The biggest benefit is efficiency—it saves our team time while helping us build stronger credibility and visibility in each market.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I appreciate how Birdeye makes managing my day-to-day work tasks much easier, especially through its automation features that handle Google and Facebook reviews efficiently. The instant alerts for negative reviews help me respond quickly, which saves time and protects my reputation. The social media calendar is my favorite tool because it lets me schedule a full month of posts in a single day, so I don’t have to think about it again later. I also love being able to update Google My Business listings for all of our locations directly from the app. The customer support is very quick to respond and help me if I ever have an issue. The setup process was easy and smooth, and I’ve already recommended Birdeye to others.

I can't think of anything i dislike about the service.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Working daily in design engineering and technical documentation for US lighting projects, managing client communication, project feedback, and online reputation across multiple channels was becoming increasingly fragmented. Birdeye brought all of that into one platform, and the difference was immediate.
What stands out most is how comprehensive the toolset is compared to other platforms. Most alternatives focus on one or two functions  either review management or messaging, but rarely both done well. Birdeye combines business listing management, a fully featured survey tool, reputation monitoring, and two-way customer messaging in a single workspace. For someone managing documentation and client-facing communication across multiple lighting projects simultaneously, that consolidation removes a significant layer of daily administrative work.
The ability to aggregate reviews from over 150 different sources into one dashboard is genuinely practical. On active projects whether coordinating with contractors, suppliers, or end clients on Acuity Lighting products  keeping track of feedback and responses across that many platforms manually would not be realistic. Birdeye makes that oversight manageable without constant platform switching.
The unified inbox is the feature used most consistently day to day. All two-way customer text conversations come into a single, organized thread. In a documentation and design environment where project updates, revision requests, and client approvals all come through different channels, having one place to track and respond to everything keeps communication clean and accountable.
The survey tool adds another layer that competitors often leave out entirely. Collecting structured feedback at key project milestones  particularly useful when finalizing technical documentation or completing a design review  gives a clear, organized picture of client satisfaction that informal communication simply does not provide.
From an accessibility standpoint, Birdeye sits at a practical price point. It offers a broader feature range than newer, less established alternatives while remaining slightly more affordable than top competitors like Podium — a balance that makes it a sensible choice for professional teams managing real project workloads.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

After using Birdeye daily across design and technical documentation workflows for US lighting projects, a few limitations become noticeable once the platform is part of a serious professional routine.
The absence of built-in payment processing is a practical gap. For project-based work where invoicing and approvals often run through the same communication channels, having to switch to a separate payment tool breaks the workflow that Birdeye otherwise does a good job of consolidating. It is a missing piece that would make the platform significantly more complete for client-facing project management.
The lack of internal team messaging is another limitation that surfaces regularly. In a documentation and design environment, quick coordination between team members  on revision status, illustration updates, or project deadlines  happens constantly. Birdeye handles external client communication well, but there is no dedicated channel for internal staff conversation within the platform. That means a separate tool is still needed for team coordination, which partially undermines the all-in-one value proposition.
Feature gating is perhaps the most important consideration before committing to a plan. Several of the most useful capabilities  surveys, insights, benchmarking, and ticketing  are not included in the standard professional plan at high per month. For documentation work where structured client feedback and performance benchmarking are directly relevant, discovering that these features require a premium upgrade after onboarding is a frustration worth knowing about upfront.
These limitations do not cancel out the platform’s strengths, but they are honest factors to weigh when evaluating whether the standard plan delivers sufficient value for a professional technical workflow.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, the problems Birdeye solves are ones I did not fully appreciate until I saw how much time was going into managing them manually.
The first one is business listing consistency. Before using Birdeye, keeping contact information  address, phone number, working hours accurate across every online directory was something that just did not get done regularly enough. It is easy to update one or two places and forget the rest. Birdeye manages that across over 100 directories automatically, and apparently that consistency is one of the factors Google weighs in local search ranking. That alone justifies a lot of the platform’s value for visibility.
Generating reviews used to be an afterthought. After completing a project or delivering documentation, following up manually with clients to request feedback rarely happened consistently. Birdeye connects with the business system and sends automatic email and text follow-ups after transactions or project milestones. The reviews started coming in more regularly without anyone having to remember to ask  which, if I am being honest, was the main reason it was not happening before.
The unified inbox solved a problem that was genuinely affecting daily work. Client messages were coming in through different channels and some were getting delayed responses simply because they were easy to miss. Having everything  text conversations, review replies, client queries  in one thread made response times faster and more consistent. It is one of those things that sounds straightforward but makes a real difference in practice.
The webchat widget was an unexpected benefit. Being able to capture website inquiries automatically with preset responses for common questions and the option for manual follow-up  means leads and project enquiries do not slip through during busy periods. For lighting project documentation work where client briefs often start with a simple website enquiry, that capture point matters more than it might seem initially.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

I love the review generation tools. We run apartment communities and wanted to increase the amount of Google reviews and bring up our scores. We needed a system that would be easy to use. Reema has been wonderful to work with as well. She provides great support for questions or problems I had while learning how to use Birdeye. This is now our 3rd year working with Birdeye. We are partnering wqith Sahil who is knowledgeable and friendly. He helps me with coordinating review request campaigns at my different rental properties.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

I don't like having to resize photos for posts that I am sharing to Insta and FB. I wish it was automatic.

The calls can get sales-y. We do not want more products than we have had.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that all my social media posts can be done in one dashboard. I also really like that I can add a widget for live chat, and a widget for our good reviews to automatically integrate onto my websites.

I am most impressed with how easy it is to send review requests to our residents. The templates are easy to use and straightforward. I LOVE that if someone is having a bad experience they can give us private feedback so we can rectify the solution.

New: I love the widget that gets our 4 and 5-star reviews on our website. It makes a difference when people see those!

Birdeye has helped us quickly operationalize a more structured and scalable reviews program. The automation, combined with our Salesforce integration, has made it much easier to consistently generate review volume without adding manual work for our team.

We’ve been able to see early traction in both review volume and engagement, and the platform makes it easy to manage responses and monitor sentiment across locations. Overall, it’s been a meaningful step forward in turning reviews into a more intentional growth lever rather than something reactive.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

We’re still early in our use, but one gap so far is the lack of clear benchmarking and guidance around what “good” performance looks like. For example, understanding expected ranges for open rates, click-through rates, and review conversion would help us better evaluate performance and optimize more quickly.

There’s also an opportunity for more proactive insights and recommendations, particularly around how to drive program-specific outcomes (e.g., targeting certain service lines or locations). As we scale, connecting activity in the platform more directly to downstream impact like local SEO performance and visibility would make it even more valuable.

Before Birdeye, our reviews process was largely manual and inconsistent, which made it difficult to generate steady volume or use reviews as a reliable input into local SEO and conversion.

Birdeye has helped us standardize and scale review generation through automation, allowing us to consistently capture feedback across locations without adding operational burden to our team. We’re already seeing improvements in review volume and engagement, and it’s giving us better visibility into sentiment at the location level.

Over time, this is helping us turn reviews into a more proactive lever for improving local search visibility and supporting admissions, rather than something we react to after the fact.

I like the chat feature because it's quick and usually provides a fast reply. It starts with an AI chatbot and can connect me to someone for support, which is faster than traditionally creating a support ticket. I also appreciate having everything all in one dashboard. The dashboard helps me manage the accuracy of listings easily and makes responding to and managing reviews efficient. I like how it has all clients and targeted needs right on the home dashboard, which helps me target issues quickly.

I do think there is a pretty big learning curve (I am still learning). I do wish there was more training or walkthroughs when first starting out, especially with the constantly evolving features they create.
