What do you like best about Azure Automation?

Build pipeline is one of the cutting edge feature with azure automation . It can cross integrate with most of the external plugins like AWS, appcenter etc. With this you can schedule your automated builds to execute your automated tests on various device clouds like AWS and Appcenter. What problems is Azure Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are achieving continuous integration using build pipeline. We also perform a release using a release pipeline by setting up a workflow. Because of this we have achieved seamless transition of our product from Qa, Uat and to prod environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dont understand what the logic iz being showing a job status as successful when it actually failed, don't want to be critical but when job fails you can see errors under output but still the overall status is shown as success Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Automation?

The platform allows me to save a lot of time because I can simply program repetitive routines that can easily be deployed anytime I need. The programming interface is minimal and very simple to use. The cost of the service is reasonable since there are other competitors that offer paid solutions with a lot less useful functions. The quality of the platform is outstanding and it can save you a ton of money by decreasing cost to your project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recommend you to try the platform as soon as you can in order to check if it saves you time and money. For us, we started seeing a direct benefit few hours after playing with the platform. The platform is very reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Azure Automation has helped me solve repetitive tasks when building my apps. One of the benefits is that I can simply save the routines and execute them anytime I need. "Azure Automation is good. But now sure for how long it will exist because of Azure Function."

- Easy to write runbooks.

- Easy to debug runbook because of Job history.

- Hybrid Runbook worker is very easy to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Automation?

-Fair share limit. It should allow runbooks to execute for more than 90 minutes.

- Not clarity. Will it exist along with Azure Function ?

- So time runbooks stays in queue for ever.
