I really appreciate that Acumatica supports our entire business from lead management to sales orders and fulfillment. I find it flexible, easy to use, yet operationally robust and functional. The richness of the product requires more serious support from Acumatica that we seem to have difficulty accessing, at times. We currently use Acumatica as our VAR, and they have structural issues that have led to a negative experience. The transition from Sage 100 was initially painful, taking 3 years to convert. I like how Acumatica keeps sales and financial data lightly connected without forcing us to jump between systems, managing opportunities feels structured but not rigid you can quickly see deal status, value owner, and next step in one place. I really appreciate Acumatica's automation capabilities and the ability to view data just the way we need to see it. We utilize business events to notify users in real-time or to make real-time changes using import scenarios. The data visualization aspect is also significant for us. After rolling out Manufacturing, we created dashboards that show our line efficiency, allowing us to review our BOMs and evaluate accuracy in labor, which helps us decide on necessary changes. Acumatica offers a wide range of features and capabilities that are very user-friendly. One aspect I particularly appreciate is the flexibility to assign various levels of access to different users within our organization. This has made a significant difference, as it allows our operations team to access the information they need for their projects directly in Acumatica, without having to rely on the accounting team for assistance. It's difficult to use Acumatica to its fullest potential in my organization. The system has cumbersome reporting, so we rely heavily on external financials for reporting. The out-of-the-box reports do not work, and we struggle to address our issues within the system. Existing reports do not run, so we have to use ARM to create our own, and my team is not very savvy beyond Excel. Modules need to be set up individually, which adds too much overhead. Customizations that could improve operations, like dashboards and GIs and AI, require a coding background that my team lacks. It's hard to find a setting toggle or key item, which makes it almost unusable. We spend too much time looking for answers externally. There's minimal support for optimizing the software, and our business branches were set up in a non-GAAP compliant way, which complicates things. I appreciate Acumatica's mobile access in a world that increasingly requires EASY access from anywhere. It's a nice change from our legacy system, which had matured to the point where growth was stunted. I also like that Acumatica is a young product with plenty of room to grow. More reports available out of box at implementation are desperately needed-new customers learning a new system do NOT need to have to learn how to do a GI or master reporting software just to get the data they need. The report designer lacks much to be desired... complete overhaul is in order. Lack of basic out-of-box reports was a big headache and stressor. I like Acumatica's intuitive UI, which makes the barrier for entry easy. It's set up well for integrations and customizations, allowing it to feed into and be driven by existing systems. I also find the cost to be very competitive, making the larger more Enterprise ERP options less enticing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The CPQ functionality is limited. Although there are external systems that can be bolted on to handle this, it would be better if this was native functionality in the tool. There are two major things the current system doesn't handle well. The first is multi-level BOMs. Being able to create BOMs with configurations and stack them on top of each other to create a larger product, while maintaining the ability to configure each subassembly on a sales order or quote is key. The second is the ability to integrate with CAD systems like SolidWorks, where engineers build their models that house the rules for how to update the BOMs as configurations change. Also, much of the necessary data isn't available at initial setup, so we have to standardize and collect it, which makes the process long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Acumatica is a one-stop-shop for everything from customer management to parts sales, labor tracking, and invoicing. We can create proposals using D-tools, which sync to Acumatica project quotes, then convert to a project where we use service orders and sales orders to track parts and labor. Our projects also have billing tasks built in and a dashboard that keeps track of it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe the areas where Acumatica could be improved are the taxes and change order/change request processes. The change orders don't track estimated taxes, and in the revenue budget, items can either include tax or be non-taxable entirely, which complicates commission calculations. Also, I found the Microsoft Outlook and Teams plug-ins with Acumatica very difficult to execute thoroughly and successfully. I have not been able to get Outlook or Teams plug-ins to work at all. I use Acumatica for all operations like manufacturing, inventory management, financial processing, CRM, and WMS. I love how Acumatica can be personalized to fit the industry I work in and even down to my specific role within the company. The increased visibility of data and the ability to highlight KPIs for all team members are great. It has also streamlined and automated many processes. As someone who oversees data and analytics, having access to real-time data to show different departments how their operations are running and to get ahead of issues is huge. The Shopify connector I always have issues with. It is not very flexible and often causes extra work for different team members to monitor failed sync records. I think there needs to be more allowance to edit the work flow of each entity. Specifically on the items, in my business we take pre orders for items before we even know if we can secure the seed (due to crop failure). I like that we can use handheld devices in the warehouse with Acumatica. It lets us take and upload photos of the packing slips and material directly to the transactions in real time. This saves me from having to scan, rename, and file each packing slip at the end of the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like there is still so much for me to learn with Acumatica. Our biggest hardship in the warehouse is the time it takes to process materials (transactions). It takes several minutes to get items received and onto the production floor. I'm sure this can become more efficient when I learn more on automation. The implementation took a long time, about 1.5 years, and wasn't easy, as it took me away from many of my daily responsibilities as a Warehouse Manager.
