“Excellent Design Tool for Project Management and Workflow Designing”
What do you like best about Figma?

Figma is a very easy to use software. We use it for multiple project design requirements and campaign creative requirements. It helps the team collaborate on the dedicated workspace for each project, through proper labelling and sections of the files. It allows me and my team to leave comments on feedback on the design itself for any design edits or changes. It is easy to access and to implement across team for effective communication, through their desktop and mobile application. We use it frequently for all marketing communication creative needs such as WhatsApp & Email image needs. The customer support is very helpful also in cases of any queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

There is only a slight delay in the loading time of the files if there are too many designs on one file itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the help of Figma, me and my team are able to produce good quality designs through the proper exporting of the designs too in various formats. We are able to leave comments and collaborate on the design itself, which helps keep the team on track on any updates on the designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The best tool for collaboration, workshops, meetings, events”
What do you like best about Miro?

I've tried a lot of tools in the past but Miro beats them all. It's performing very well, has a clear and easy to use user interface. The sheer amount of ready to use templates is a big plus when creating retrospectives or workshops. It is very easy to implement workflows in order to get the most out of Miro.

I'm using Miro everyday and even when coming across an issue the customer support is fast, friendly and super eager to fix issues.

I'm integrating Miro into monday.com to have a direct connection between workshop tasks and the Miro workshop space.

All in all Miro is not only a collaboration tool for me, it is a kind of operating system for my daily business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The desktop app is buggy here and there but the bugs are getting fixed pretty fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro makes it possible to let people write down their ideas and to connect the dots. Instead of just doing a brain dump, Miro helps me and us to sort, categorize and visualize our ideas and to create a flow from the beginning to the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Great platform — enabler of productivity and design success, sometimes unreliable pricing”
What do you like best about Webflow?

It's really a world-class website builder that couldn't have been imagined a few years ago. As a platform it's made recent strides such as Tokens that brings Webflow's model of creation closer to the reality of web development, which makes it an easier sell and integrates with other existing design systems or assets. I don't even prototype or design in Figma, I just go directly into Webflow such is my level of dexterity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

They do change their minds a lot as a platform. Seat pricing for one seems to be always shifting and requires juggling of users. There are also a few semi-basic features which are not yet on the platform (unknown reason) — such as inability to nest CMS's (which is huge for blogs, video repositories, events to be shown on websites). And in general, unless if you are an enterprise customer, support is not great. You are forced to use community-sourced forums which are often poorly maintained or don't resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Webflow solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main issue with website builders is that they are very inaccessible for most people. You need to be a developer, the technical framework of a website is confusing and illogical for marketers who need to use it every day. Webflow allows you to define these processes and data structures yourself (within reason) so a website can be set up in any way that suits your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Lucid is easy to use, incredibly useful, and has a diverse number of business use cases”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

My favorite part is being able to have multiple users in the software, live editing at the same time. It makes collaboration incredibly easy, and allows for to be accomplished in a short amount of time. My colleague and I were able to implement the tool in multiple use cases quite easily, and it has become a daily use tool for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

At times, certain quick action tools built within the software made it difficult to move objects around. Once I got the hang of the software, the issues decreased, but it still causes frustrating moments of "I didn't mean to do that!". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lucid is helping us solve the issue of properly mapping out our processes, and allowing us to visually show each step in the process in an efficient way. The flexibility of the sandbox style board allows me to move things around as needed, without the restricted uses of other softwares, especially those native to operating systems (Word, Pages, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Adobe Dreamweaver - A Powerful Tool for Web Development”
What do you like best about Adobe Dreamweaver?

Adobe Dreamweaver supports a variety of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, making it an excellent tool for coding and design modifications. I like the option to work in both Code and Design views at the same time,. Its responsive design capabilities enable users to test how their sites appear on different devices. Additionally, seamless integration with other Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator enhances workflow efficiency and maintains design consistency. The real-time preview feature allows users to see changes instantly, making testing and refinement much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Dreamweaver?

Adobe Dreamweaver can be difficult for beginners due to its complicate features and numerous options. It necessitates an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, which can be pricier than other web development tools. Furthermore, the design view doesn't always align perfectly with the final output, often requiring additional adjustments in the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Dreamweaver solving and how is that benefiting you?

I've been using Dreamweaver for a long time and have had a positive experience overall. It's ideal for detailed web development, with powerful coding and design tools and a flexible workspace with both code and design views. It supports HTML, CSS, and JavaScript along with responsive design features, making it a strong choice on professional websites. “A decade with Duda- Review from a frontend developer freelancer's perspective”
What do you like best about Duda?

I've used Duda for a decade now, and I must say their editor is getting better and better. New ways to create sections and improved overall user experience to create a fast and responsive websites.

I have experienced using before which is called Duderino. Then comes the flex 2, and now the new editor 2.0 is the newest one. I really loved this platform, that I don't even look for other work if it's not a Duda. I worked with multiple big agencies that only uses Duda as I have almost a decade of experience with it.

I am using Duda for a decade now! What I love about Duda is the simplicity of the Duda dashboard, the Duda editor, and how to publish and unpublish the site. With their new rollout of features with AI and image SEO, I must say, it is easier to use now than ever!

My role then was as a senior web developer, now I helped Duda agencies to scale using Duda. I built websites for them and it is always a breeze that you can build a site in a day!

Years before, there are no feature like collections, now it's much easier to connect your data of records to your site and create dynamic pages that is SEO optimized by Duda. It's a great built-in feature from them, the way you can connect widgets(if you have widget access) from the collections, and use it with Dynamic pages as well.

I am happy as a freelance Duda web developer and it helped my business and my clients' business to move forward from other CMS! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Duda?

My best skills in Duda involve developing widgets, so I think there should be a way to unpublish a widget. Having a list inside a list is not possible as of now, which is one of the things that sets me back for new widget development.

Sometimes, Duda's blog is limited to its design layouts. Also, editing one sometimes loads super slow. I had this one site that I am editing blogs, and it took 10 seconds to respond. Not sure why, and I haven't contacted support yet about this.

I don't like the renaming of the Editor 2.0 they renamed rows as section, its kinda confusing the users as they have already know the rows and columns combination name for so long.

While I love having new features, their Duda flex isn't very clear or easy to use and is sometimes buggy; for example, I click on a device and start working on it, then I hit the preview button, the spacing and paddings don't look the same as I wanted them to be

It would be beneficial if their developer's documentation is updated and matches the current things, as sometimes I refer to it, and things do not add up.

I also do not like the documentation with external app for REACT as it is outdated examples found on their page Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Duda:

Don't hesitate to use or try Duda. They have the most powerful editing tools and most likely you can build sites at faster rate than other site without being confused of the interface. They have created many themes/template that you can use for your clients. It always upgrade as they have a quarterly road map of features that they follow and integrates it to the platform. It is built from react.js so it is faster than other website builders out there because Facebook was the one who built react.js Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mostly tech stuff, where our clients want us to display information coming from a server or a spreadsheet.

Additionally, limiting features for website such as search and filtering with Duda collections and dynamic widgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Powerful and Flexible CMS for Website Management”
What do you like best about WordPress.com?

WordPress is an incredibly easy to use and versatile platform that allows myself and other PTSEM members to build and update sites very easily. At Princeton Theological Seminary, we use WordPress to manage and publish content on our main website, thanks to its user-friendly interface. I also am in the process of building out content from a lot of our subsites, which is made way easier through WordPress's extensive use of templates and plugins. The ability to create custom post types, and integrate SEO tools has been especially helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WordPress.com?

While WordPress is powerful, and the use of themes can be very helpful, sometimes the rigidity of those themes can end up hamstringing our process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WordPress.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I previously mentioned, WP has been very helpful in allowing us to build out updates to the site very quickly. The ease of use makes training other folks on some of the simpler tasks very easy, and all of that leads to a quicker development/update time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Fast design and immediate feedback, my experience with Adobe XD”
What do you like best about Adobe XD?

I like that its interface responds quickly and fluidly and this allows the creative process to flow without friction. The tools for creating vector graphics are very precise when creating design elements that need to adapt to different screen sizes and devices. What do you dislike about Adobe XD?

I understand that Adobe XD prioritizes simplicity and performance, but I feel it lacks some features in advanced animation that could make the experience more complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe XD solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe XD has transformed how I approach designing and conceptualizing user-centric interfaces that conform to modern UX design standards. “Fraudulent renewal scams - and way harder to use than Webflow or Tilda”
What do you like best about Wix?

It's become a fully-integrated marketing platform (lite version)... so if you need bare minimum CRM, email marketing, shopping cart, etc. with a no-code website builder it's not a bad place to start and their template library is pretty good. But that is also why it's not a great platform if you think your business will grow - none of the tools are as robust as something else - sort of a jack-of-all-trades platform that's not great at any of it but can be an okay entry point.

Their live chat is also pretty responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wix?

All of their tech is okay but not great. For example: their email marketing is okay but not as good as Mailchimp/competitors that specialize in email, their CRM is better than nothing, but not as good as Pipedrive/NutshellCRM or other SMB-targeted CRMs (not even talking about Hubspot which I consider more for larger orgs). And their web builder is good, with good templates and decent capabilities, but not as intuitive/easy to use as Webflow, Squarespace or Tilda - and doesn't have near the SEO capabilities or tech customization native in Webflow or Tilda.

In short, you can get okay ecommerce, but would be better off with Shopify or BigCommerce. You can get okay email marketing and CRM but would be better off getting specialized apps and then dropping their form fields into your site. You can build a decent website with Wix, but for advanced and custom design/integrations/actions as you grow your business - and better SEO tools - you'd be better off with Webflow or Tilda.

Additionally, in my opinion, they've gotten more scammy over time as their tech has been surpassed by competitors. I used to build client sites in Wix all the time (between 2016 - 2019 I built 5 client sites plus my own there)... but they've instituted hidden upcharges, confusing subscription plans and a super shady renewal practice where they bill you 14 days before your renewal ends and then tell you it can't be refunded even if you cancel before your newly-purhcased-but-not-wanted renewal starts. I don't like doing business with companies I feel like are trying to screw me so I'd have stopped using them for that reason alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wix solving and how is that benefiting you?

A no-code website builder that can get a small business website built and launched quickly. It is simple enough that usually a non-technical person at a client company can then update/manage their site themselves without needing agency/tech support for day-to-day updates. “Ycode is a great no-code website builder”
What do you like best about Ycode?

Been using it for a couple of months and have already started to bring some clients into it. I like its ease of use and implementation, while using Laravel and Tailwind CSS as their framework. This makes a lot of sense, if you're used to Tailwind's classes.

The pricing is another very important factor. They might have the cheapest plans of all no-code builders, while including a lot of extras for free, like user management and localization.

The team listens to what the users want from the platform and are usually very quick at resolving bugs.

If your client needs localization, integration with Airtable, plus gated content, Ycode is your best choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ycode?

The app still has a few bugs and it sometimes behaves erractically, although the team is usually fast at solving them.

It is still growing and, as such, doesn't have all the features you can find in other no-code builders, but I believe they are getting there.

While they have implemented animations and interactions, it's still very limited, considering they are using GSAP but without all the properties that it allows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Claritee has an intuitive and user-friendly interface. It's easy to navigate and I appreciate how easy it is to create wireframes using the AI feature, Additionally, it makes it easy to collaborate with both my team and my clients during the early design and ideation phases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Claritee?

The menu of element categories seems limited until you realize that a lot of the feature sections on a page are hidden within the "Gallery" category. I feel like more care in labeling the categories would make it easier for the end user to find what they want.

Additionally, it's unintuitive what the best workflow should be as you can "create a landing page project" and from there, you can "create a sitemap". Well I had already created a sitemap, so it's a bit of a chicken or the egg. The best workflow (for me) is to create the sitemap and then edit the pages from that sitemap. Claritee certainly lets you do that, but it doesn't guide you to do it as a best practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Uizard?

The AI generated screens help keep the entire project consistent and clean allowing for more time creating valuable UX designs without wasting time on the minor details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Uizard?

Only being able to get the react and css code for individual components on a screen slows down the process when turning the wireframe into a functioning app. If you could export an entire screen that would be a complete game changer. Also the server runs slow from time to time and can stall. Copying and pasting screens also automatically paste to the very right of the project canvas where I would prefer pasted screens to appear in the display area of the canvas I'm working on. The AI generations seem to create components in the background that aren't visible but still effect courser object clicking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Uizard solving and how is that benefiting you?

“It's good but can be quirky!”
What do you like best about Flowcode?

I like the ability to track the scans on a QR code. There are lots of free ones on the market but don't provide any real data for you to use regarding the thing that needs to be tracked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flowcode?

I dislike cycling when you find a design that you like it may take a while to get back to it as you're cycling through color schemes. You should be able to choose that template and color scheme consistently for different QR codes. I build them for flyers at the university and continuity with styling is key for me. What problems is Flowcode solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to track data on scans, and having a landing page "app" that gives information about your product or service easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
