We switched to Absorb due to a complete lack of customer support and rising costs from our old LMS. Little did we know that this would be a massive upgrade in all areas of our training. The ease of use and options are night and day compared to our old platform. I've been using iSpring Suite for many months now, and I haven't seen any downsides to the software. If I had to come up with an issue, I guess it would be nice to have more downloadable examples of different things you can do with the software. But they already provide quite a few. I needed a way to provide students with interactive lessons and engaging quizzes, and I needed it to be easy to learn and implement. iSpring Suite solved all of those issues. Students are able to easily retain what they learn because of the interaction that iSpring Suite has allowed me to do with my lessons and quizzes. According to me classroom is one of best softwares by Google till date but a major drawback is the requirement of a stable internet connection to access classroom as it connected to users Gmail account. The feature of uploading and submitting work also consumes a good amount of data (internet). I think apart from this Google has done a fantastic job in creating classroom. Classroom helped a lot especially during the covid period when it made real time learning possible without ever having a need for offline classroom. It integrated the processes of sharing notes scheduling meeting with teachers and informing each student about it into one single application, thus saving a lot of time of its users and eliminating the need for having multiple softwares to do so. The major drawback is the need to download separate software on the presenting desktop. This poses a challenge in large public areas, like conferences, where not all desktops are pre-installed with the app, often necessitating connecting my laptop. Additionally, the updates in the latest version are not easily compatible with PowerPoint presentations as they were in previous versions. VIVOX addresses the challenge of integrating interactivity within PowerPoint presentations, making it easy to conduct live quizzes and polls. This feature is particularly beneficial for me as a radiologist, where I frequently need to present and discuss a large number of images on PowerPoint slides. The previous version of VevOX offered even smoother integration, allowing me to effortlessly incorporate interactivity without disrupting the flow of my image-based presentations. Our unit at UNBC hosts self-paced courses using rapid development software for content as well as shells for supporting academic courses using native Brightspace tools. Integration with commercial payment software is a big plus for the continuing studies courses but we can also integrate with student and employee accounts for the organization. Brightspace is flexible and quick to develop in. Decent set of tools without getting bogged down in too many complications. Steady march of new features and fixes. I occasionally get a version of writer's block when it comes to creating a page or a course in a new or creative way, while Docebo offers fully-customizable widgets and blocks of content, guidance on building a page to meet a specific need would be appreciated, choosing from pre-loaded page templates would be amazing. There is also a big need for universal links to courses, currently we utilize a few sub-domains and each set requires unique links, rather than being able to share one universal link to anyone who needs to access. The ability to serve up customized learning experiences to our different user groups, based on each group's needs. Translated material and accessible experiences provided to all is easily configurable, and we are able to share admin responsibility and tasks amongst our internal teams to help manage their customers directly. We are now able to collect and analyze our user data, and view via their beautiful dashboards, which makes communicating value up to our leaders smooth and easily accomplished. Docebo is also keeping up with the times and we are excited to dive into AI-generated course content and assessment questions, further expanding on our ability to provide a customized and deeply informed experience to our users. One improvement that I think Blackboard could have is to more readily integrate audio and video in order to faciliate the use of a variety of multimedia-style discussions. I really wish that I could look at a students diagnostic reports and determine for certain the skills they are struggling with. I would like to know that a student is struggling with prepositions because he/she missed some questions pertaining to that concept. Currently, the student results are based upon their scaled scores. Star Assessments have really helped me show the students how capable they are of growth. When their graph shows growth, the students tend to gain confidence, which you can see in their whole demeanor. Now that we are required to create RSPs for our students with weaknesses in reading, we use star to target areas of need, set goals, and monitor their progress. Canvas LMS is providing an interactive platform for all learning related tasks. Whether its giving homeworks, taking quizzes, presenting assignments or providing notes, Canvas LMS does it all. The best feature is presenting the current total marks for a user at any time, and also the "To Do" feature, which saves by showing tasks nearing their deadlines. It would be helpful if uploaded materials like photos & docs, automatically adjusts to fit the screen of any device for a more seamless viewing experince. The only thing Testportal really lacks with respect to the competition is a pre-available marketplace of questions or quizzes that one can take ready advantage of. Testportal requires users to create their own questions, and makes this process easier by providing a generative AI assistant within the platform that can use a sample of questions to generate new ones. While this is a differentiator, it is not a disadvantage. Most of the time, individuals and organizations may already have a question bank to ask of candidates. I came across Testportal when our company was looking for a platform to conduct candidate evaluations for a data engineering and science role. As a startup with a small team, we were hiring for a full-time role and wanted a lot of customizability and ownership on the recruitment process instead of outsourcing it. We spent about an hour surfing through multiple testing platforms including Hackerrank, Mercer, and more but they either lacked in features or otherwise offered a ridiculous pricing scheme that often made little to no sense. We believe in Testportal's mission of making a simple yet feature-rich and functional platform that is available at great value to support both businesses and institutions to conduct better assessments. There are some improvements needed regarding how to organize courses. It would be great to have the option to tag courses or create folders because, as it stands, there isn’t a way to sort the course list. I dislike the lenght of time it takes to complete an assement. I also do not think the test algorythm is as good as Curriculum Associates claims it to be when providing questions to students during the assessment. Often, second grade students will go inot taking the mid year or end of year assesment at a 1st grade level according to their previous asseemnt and see questions that are clearly not second grade standards such as adding and subtracting fractions or multplying/ dividing large numbers. These students would have never been exposed to these skills because thier paths are set on 1st grade standards. This fustrates them because they know they try and this extends the amount of time the test takes and ultimatley students are still at the first grade begining of second grade. I have never had a student make progress that big. I also wish that students could take the test more fequently as a way to readjust thier learing paths. I know I can do it mannuelly but would prefer that test to adjust to be more accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The iReady solves a few problems. First it provides information on student growth that our school disctrict uses. Second it provides me, a classroom teacher, information I can use to help guide instrucation very easily. I always wanted an assessment that provides different types of questioning style. Through this I was able to provide authentic assessment and I became more productive because I can deploy assessments on scheduled plus the fact that they get to have different questions. No customer service, hostage renewal processes and and refusal to "make right" when renewal charges disputed.

There is no service line. Your renewal charge may or may not be visible in your account dashboard. They will gladly "cancel" your service once disputed but will not refund a charge. I paid $240 to use this service 1x. I asked to have my renewal charge refunded when the paid features were NOT available to me after renewal. They refused and "cancelled" my account.
