My role in the accounts payable process - processing bills.

One problem is our billing software does not allow us to process multi-currency bills (Ex: Base currency of entity - USD, vendor bill currency - EUR) accurately, which Sage intacct through its multi-currency billing feature allows me to process bills with the live exchange rates based on the bill dates. Gaggle is solving the fact that we do not have counselors, social workers, or mental health providers in our small school district. Mental health resources are scarce in the county and many families work and are not able to take their child to an office for therapy during the day when offices are open. FloQast has introduced substantial efficiencies to our close process by providing real-time visibility into status updates, enhancing collaboration between our finance and accounting departments. The “watch” feature enables the finance team to monitor the accounting team’s progress, allowing them to initiate their tasks at the appropriate stage. In a remote work environment, this functionality has been particularly beneficial in helping our team stay aligned. What I absolutely do not like is that through this platform the relationship with the parents is lost. it's too formal. We don't have emoticons, you can't reply to a message from the parent, but I have to rewrite another new message.

It also has errors when I post a longer message in the newsfeed and I want to press the "more" button and I can't.

Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. Overall, we do have significant complaints about Acumatica. I would say we would like to see more low-code/no-code workflow capabilities across the platform. We are leveraging Acumatica to be our primary accounting system as well as a basis for our operational client billing and management sytem in the Home Care industry. We are using the Field Service components along side of the project accounting aspects plus we are significantly extending the product with the Acumatica development platform. To keep tabs on company money, send out invoices, and manage our bookkeeping, we utilize FreshBooks. Because of it, we have been able to automate time-consuming and error-prone tasks like repeating invoicing and tracking overdue payments. We are now better able to see the company's financial health and make strategic decisions thanks to the transparency of financial reporting. With ClearBooks the Accounting & Bookkeeping process has become much simpler and chances of errors have reduced significantly. As a small business owner, with ClearBooks installed in my business I can now focus on the core business operations while leaving the accounting function on it. Overall, our experience has been positive, but we’ve run into some occasional UX delays. We’re used to getting data instantly, so any delays can be a bit frustrating. This might be due to the heavy calculations happening in the backend, especially with our transaction volume. Still, it’s a minor issue compared to the great support we’ve had. The new platform was difficult to learn. Many of my colleagues were unhappy with the change. When I was finally getting the hang of the new platform, our district switched back to the old one temporarily. The mobile app doesn't yet support businesses which have multiple currency transactions. This is something they're aware of and are working on. I've been using this for 9 years, new features are far between. I wish there were more external integrations, as well as a visual editor to produce custom styled invoices. Try it, you'll love it. Even if you're not well versed in accounting, the layout makes for easy management of your business accounting. For more complicated entries, I've simply relied on a quick call to an accounting firm and took care of the entry. So even more complex entries are well handled. One of the biggest headaches with our old system was that a single customer could have only one ship-to address. Customer support can be difficult to work with, whether it’s their staff not knowing how some features work, providing incorrect responses, or giving canned answers for the wrong issue. I feel like they've improved over the past year, but it’s still a challenge. Bonsai provides a single platform for managing proposals, contracts, and time tracking, all the way through to invoicing. It’s helped my team and me build a structured process for customer engagements and has streamlined everything related to time tracking and billing clients, making the entire workflow more efficient.
