What do you dislike about HubSpot Sales Hub?

Everyday I feel like I encounter new bugs with the platform. For instance, today I had to refresh my Sales Hub to make each incremental phone call since it would not load. There's always a new bug with the platform, some days worse than others.

Also, not sure why updates (to lists, sequence enrollments etc.) show up 15-30 seconds delayed, but it always makes me second guess if I've done something correctly or not. As someone who is meticulous about organization and outreach procedure, Hubspot is incredibly limited for enriching data with custom fields and using those in outreach efforts. I've been using the platform for just over 2 months, and I have an entire Google doc where I vent about frustrating experiences on the platform. It's fine if it's a one-off thing, but as I'm repetitively prospecting, these tiny details really get annoying.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

I have used a number of ERP and inventory management systems in the past with varying degrees of customization options and user friendliness. Usually the more customized, the easier or complicated it can be depending on the person doing the customizing. Netsuite has seemingly endless options to customize everything from aesthetics to functionality and as long as you're willing to do most of the learning on your own, pay for extended training or pay even more for a partner or consultant to help, it's a great program. What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Out of the box, barebones Netsuite will probably work for exactly nobody. You will need some levels of add on modules or scripted customization to fit your business needs, and the costs can add up very quickly. it would be nice if some of this is better explained up fron or the pricing was made more transparent, but the results in many ways speak for themselves. Netsuite will help us streamline and consilidate our many departments digital platforms. Prior to implementation we relied heavily on manually inputted putside documents and mixmatched across departments with ineffective communication within those tools. What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

As I fill out this survey, it's interesting that it still showed my old (and quite negative) review that I'm now typing over. Makes me wonder if the old one ever got posted - though I did receive my gift card for writing the review.

The good news is that AC has improved since the last review. They finally seem to have focused on core improvements that affect the average user such as myself rather than blatantly catering to high end corporate accounts.

They offer solid tools for automation and contact relations that allow me to engage with my audience, make offers and track their responses and activity. Basically, the things you would want and expect from a high end CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

While they've improved considerably since my last review, I think there are ways they could be better. While improving many of the core features, there are many areas that lack an intuitive approach. So even if you think you understand what a particular function does - especially if you've seen similar functions in another service - it's best to double check with online tech support (which is usually helpful) to make sure it's going to work the way you think it will.

My main browser is Safari, and for whatever reason, AC continues to not want to support Safari, and simply won't function well in many critical areas - forcing me to use Chrome for it to work properly. A bit of a PIA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ActiveCampaign solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use ActiveCampaign as my CRM. As my list grows, I use their automations to welcome new subscribers and email campaigns to maintain contact, share valuable content and alert them to upcoming offers. I teach online webinars and virtual courses, and use automations to send sequences of emails based on various parameters of how people interact with the courses. This saves a lot of time without having to manually track what everyone is doing. My contacts also get tagged based on their interests and what courses they have purchased, allowing me to customize what communications get sent to each individual.

When it works, it's great. But there have been issues that have worked against me, and that's frustrating. The interface isn't always intuitive, some important settings are not in obvious places and can be missed, and the results of this can be very counterproductive. I've also learned that asking for support through email is basically useless in these instances and to always use the chat - which sometimes means waiting until its available if it's offline when you need it.

Many of the things in the list of "select all that apply" are things that I either use very little or not at all because there are simply other tools outside of AC that work considerably better and are easier/more intuitive to use. Things like the email template builder and the landing page builder. While they've improved these things, there are still aspects of it all that are quite arcane. It's difficult to understand that with the teams they have to develop these features that they can't bring them up to level of ease, intuitiveness and function that other more dedicated platforms provide. We map our customers' requests to the corresponding vendors. This requires a lot of back-and-forth communication between customers and vendors. Keeping tabs on every communication can become messy and can go out of sync pretty much at any time. Zoho CRM helps us maintain the sync. The Kanban board is our go-to solution. A simple and intuitive user interface helps us team members maintain the pace. A 15-minute walkthrough of the process and newly assigned members were as good as old ones. What do you like best about ClickUp?

Clickup has been the most straightforward and easy to setup project management tool for us. Task tracking is super easy with lots of granular details. Sharing with teams and inviting new members to collaborate to the board and task is super easy. Integration with 3rd party tools is also possible with many apps available. Datadog and Clickup integrations helps alot in creating incident tasks in Clickup for the events that needs to be address and team can then start working on the incidents. What do you like best about Instantly?

The fact that anyone who doesn't know anything about cold email can become a master at cold emailing after signing up with instantly.

Not only is it the best email-sending platform out there, it also has its own verified lead scraper, CRM and can also help you create GSuite and Outlook inboxes on its own.

To top it all off, it has an extensive program which is simply better than any email course out there.

Anyone who isn't using Instantly is missing out PERIOD.

What do you like best about Capsule CRM?

Capsule wins for me on the cost of entry, both in terms of finance but more importantly in terms of the learning curve. You can get teams using it very quickly because it is very straightforward, but still quite feature-rich. That's why it has been the CRM system I've introduced in a few businesses now, and I continue to use it in my current business with a distributed team. The sales pipeline gives useful visualisation and the project boards are very handy too. Customer support has always been absolutely first class with real humans answering emailed queries very rapidly, and this further enhances the ease of onboarding. What do you dislike about Capsule CRM?

Capsule might not be the right CRM for your whole growth cycle. It reaches a point where customisation becomes difficult and off the shelf integrations might not tick all of your boxes. Pipedrive has sucessfully structured their CRM with humans in mind who may not be experts at using complex software. They have made it simple without compromising critical features. We use it every day for simple sales to complicated tenders and projects and Pipedrive provides all the activity tracking from lead-in to close. Customer support is excellent and responsive but there is extensive material on learn.pipedrive.com if users prefer to do a self -paced support or learn the product.

Its easy to setup, in minutes actually. Just start by creating a contact person or their orginzation and add information and events about your sales interaction until the deal is closed.

If you use gmail or slack, it integrates easily and with gmail, you can create or amend Pipedrive directly from within gmail using a chrome extension. All in all, its an excellent suite thats both powerful and affordable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The deafult views for deals and people need to be customised because out-of-the-box, they are pretty basic, but it can be done.

I have been using Sage Intacct for over 2 years and it is by far my favorite accounting software I have ever used. It is extremely user friendly and does not allow for mistakes. There are so many wonderful features, not to mention keeping your tax information together for year end 1099's. The ease of integrating and learning how to use Sage Intacct was wonderful. If I ever had issues, customer support was always extremely helpful with any problems. I use Sage Intacct almost daily and appreciate the helpful updates that come frequently. As long standing users of a very common system, we were inidated with issues and mistakes that we were never able to understand and over 15 years later most of those features were left to side. I found fulcrum through a google search and hearing about it from another local fabricator. Instantly I knew this was the system for our shop and how we operate.

The biggest compliments I can give to Fulcrum is its Ease of Use and its Customer Support. We had the luxury of having Jack onboard us and through thick and thin he stayed by our side and helped us through the million roadblocks we encountered. Being able to quickly edit BOM and Routings, to Sales Order/Quotes/Inventory Auto saving, and ability to tie PDFs/drawings to a code at an instance based level is working wonders for our operations.

The introduction of using a tablet in our facility was always thought of as far into the future, but since Fulcrum is relatively user friendly, onboarding an entire shop to 1. Use an iPad 2. Use the System we have has been an quick and painless transition. The typical hiccups I was expecting were maybe an issue for one day then the team was off and using the system to about 90%. At this point its just adding the last 10% as we grow and continue to use the system to better make it fit to our standards and systems.

Finally being able to track setup/production/machine times instead of hand notes has also opened our eyes to see that the math we had from years previously doesnt apply to our now standardarized production. We have been able to adjust pricing and track sales to ensure a consistent marginal growth is being met along with beign able to lower costs to customers which has positevly grown relationships.

10/10 would recommend - love it - has some issues but they are willing to fix it when needed and I appreciate that they dont view their software as unchageable! We use it everyday and was integrated as easily as easily if not easier than described! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fulcrum?

Our biggest issue with Fulcrum was during implementation - data coming from our old ERP to Fulcrum was a mess. Mainly at the fault of us since we didnt use our previous to the fullest extent so alot of information was missing / we just didnt have. This creates a mind numbing few weeks during implementation trying to get everything figured out or atleast close until you can start using the system to the fullest extent.

Alot of our other issues are based just how work flow / numbers are figured in Fulcrum. We were stuck in our ways from a previous system and making the adjustment to how we think about jobs had to change.

QB intergration works but it is a bit choppy at times, work orders work for a company that does the same thing over and over again for high mix like us it doesnt work the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Less Annoying CRM?

I run a small online business with the help of a remote, dispersed team, and LACRM has been a cornerstone of our operations for over 15 years. Unlike businesses with traditional "sales funnels," we rely heavily on long-term relationship-building. Our customers naturally come and go, as their need for our services is driven by external factors outside their control—and ours.

LACRM stands out because it’s not designed exclusively for "salesy" businesses. Instead, it accommodates our unique approach, staying out of our way while consistently delivering reliable performance. Features like robust export/import functionality and the ability to merge contacts and histories when needed have been invaluable.

What I particularly appreciate about LACRM is how their development priorities and values align with ours. Their system is customizable, but not excessively so, which keeps it intuitive and minimizes frustration. They focus on simplicity and functionality, a philosophy that keeps costs down for all of us while ensuring the tool remains effective. LACRM is proof that less can truly be more. This will benefit us any time we need a simple form (though for more robust forms with conditional logic, I think we'll still need to rely on a different platform). The customer support is second to none, Mackenzie "Mack" Fenn is incredibly quick with responses to any issues that may arise and always has a solution!
