“Easy to Use, Simple Onboarding, Great Support!”
What do you like best about AuditBoard?

I like that AuditBoard is very intuitive to use. It is flexible in terms of meeting the needs of our audit process, but is clearly built by a team with a strong understanding of auditing. We only use a couple of modules, but the success with those has lead to discussion about how the broader tool can be used. Their support has been very responsive and helpful with our needs as we work to get the most out of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AuditBoard?

As with any newer tool, some of the kinks get worked out in real time. There have been a few updates pushed out that have changed some of the dashboards utilized. The communication was a little unclear, but we've been able to respond to the change. Additionally, the tiered pay structure limits what you have access to, so if cost is prohibitive, you may not get the full capabilities of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AuditBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?

Auditboard is giving us visual insights into our audit processes, while helping us streamline our existing process. The tool is very flexible and gives access to the backend data for reporting and project tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Transforming Compliance and Security Management with Scrut Automation”
What do you like best about Scrut Automation?

Scrut Automation has significantly streamlined our compliance and security processes. The platform's user-friendly interface, comprehensive dashboard, and intuitive automation features make managing frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR effortless. I particularly appreciate the automated evidence collection, which saves hours of manual work and reduces the risk of human error. The integrations with our existing tools (like AWS, Slack, and Jira) were seamless, ensuring all our data sources are covered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrut Automation?

While Scrut Automation is a powerful tool, the initial setup can be a bit overwhelming, especially for teams new to compliance management software. However, their customer support team is very responsive and helpful, which made the onboarding process smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Scrut Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before adopting Scrut Automation, our compliance processes were disjointed and time-consuming, relying heavily on spreadsheets and manual tracking. Scrut has centralized our compliance management, making it easier to stay audit-ready year-round. The automated alerts and task assignments help our team stay proactive rather than reactive, ensuring we address compliance gaps before they become issues. This has not only improved our security posture but also enhanced our trust with clients, resulting in a smoother compliance journey and quicker audit cycles. “Solid 3rd Gen FP&A tool”
What do you like best about Mosaic Tech?

Mosaic is user friendly and does not take a ton of training to get up and running with it. It serves all the standard FP&A functional needs with many out of the box metrics and dashboards that are awesome, especially for a SaaS company. Mosaic is built with SaaS companies in mind and that was a huge reason why we ended up choosing them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mosaic Tech?

Mosaic is still a fairly early stage company so there are some features and integrations that are lacking but nothing that was a deal breaker. I will say that the team is open to hearing their customers requests and acting upon the product roadmap as planned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Mosaic Tech solving and how is that benefiting you?

We moved to Mosaic from another FP&A tool that was very much lackluster and holding our Finance team back. Mosaic is helping us spend more time on value-added work vs. manual work and wasting time constantly chasing problems with the tool. The ability to share nice looking dashboards with executives and budget owners is also a huge plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Anaplan connects people, data and plans like no other with their unified cloud platform. New features and functionalities are incorporated into the platform on a frequent basis which enhance the product's value proposition and usability significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anaplan?

Auditability of line items can be enhanced by adding extra features like saved views references, filter references, UX page references etc. Ability to natively view the size consumed by a line item (not just cell count) can greatly help with size impact analysis. Detailed error logging and scheduler accuracy can be improved in Cloudworks. Anaplan's versatility is one of its key differentiators. “Delivering business value through an intuitive interface”
What do you like best about Apliqo?

Apliqo is built from its foundations with the end user experience in mind. It offers an intuitive interface, place on top of any type of business problem for planning and reporting.

It can integrate Excel input in the same front end, so end users can decide if they want to prepare data outside of the web-front end and load their results, or work directly in the tool. This combination allows users the freedom they need and desire to work in a way that suits them best.

The ideas behind the applications are always aimed towards ease of maintenance, a uniform look and feel and a do-it-yourself approach where IT involvement is limited to a minimum and business users can be autonoumous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apliqo?

It is a not a drag-and-drop tool for do it yourself dashboarding. But it is also not intended to be this. The target of Apliqo is rolling out applications to a group of end users that can get going without the need for extensive trainings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apliqo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We mainly use Apliqo (both UX and FPM) for internal reporting. We use it for our day-to-day timesheets, our (financial) month end close, dashboarding and reporting.

The operational model is tracking our projects on a day-to-day basis, provinding an overview of budgets-to-date, time spent (hours/days), expenses tracking. Our users are entering information on a daily basis.

For the financial closing we are currently utilising the P&L/Balance sheet reporting layer across our region, based on input from various countries, coming from different data sources (accounting systems).

Everything gets harmonized through a common mapping to a uniform group layer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Maximizing Your Productivity”
What do you like best about LiveFlow?

It's impossible to overstate my admiration for LiveFlow, its executive leadership, and the entire team involved. Previously, we manually generated and dispatched weekly reports to our clients via QBO. LiveFlow, however, has significantly streamlined this process. We now compile all required reports into a single Google sheet and share the link with our clients, providing them with the freedom to access the data at their convenience. This functionality not only obviates the need for an entire task in our workflow but also keeps the report perpetually updated with live data either every hour or upon opening the Google sheet.

Furthermore, LiveFlow has conferred tangible financial benefits. It circumvented the need to invest in an additional application for commission calculations. By constructing a live report and incorporating the necessary calculations, I've created a monthly Commissions Report worksheet. Now, all the relevant data is just a click away, at my fingertips once a month.

In summary, LiveFlow has not merely simplified my tasks; it has been instrumental in bolstering my productivity. My heartfelt gratitude to the LiveFlow team for their innovative solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LiveFlow?

My solitary suggestion for improvement with LiveFlow would be the integration of QBO's custom reports, as opposed to being confined to the pre-existing, pre-populated ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LiveFlow solving and how is that benefiting you?

LiveFlow is serving as an invaluable tool in our business operations, streamlining our reporting processes, saving costs, and enhancing our productivity. LiveFlow has eliminated the need for manually running weekly reports in QBO and emailing them to clients. Instead, I can compile all required reports into a Google sheet and share the link with our clients. This has saved time and effort, and also allows our clients to access these reports whenever they want. LiveFlow provides live data that updates every hour or whenever the Google sheet is opened. This ensures that you and your clients always have access to the most current data, improving decision-making and response times. LiveFlow has helped save money by negating the need for another application to manage commission calculations. By automating manual tasks and centralizing report access, LiveFlow has significantly boosted our productivity. This allows us to focus more on core business activities, improving overall business performance. Although I wish to have the ability to use QBO's custom reports within LiveFlow, the current pre-populated ones still provide you with necessary data and insights. However, integrating the custom reports could further enhance the flexibility and efficiency of your reporting process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Abacum is a transformative tool for us as we scale out our organization. It was easy to use and started providing value within days of kicking off implementation. It is intuitive but also powerful, which can be a difficult line to walk. It is allowing us to democratize our financial data and empower internal planning. “Solver Review - Cavaliers Holdings”
What do you like best about Solver?

Solver’s user-friendly interface and customizable reporting features are the most helpful aspects for me. The ability to easily create, modify, and distribute reports allows for more efficient data analysis and decision-making. Additionally, Solver’s integration with various data sources streamlines the process, making it easier to consolidate information and gain insights quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Solver?

One of the least helpful aspects of Solver is its occasional complexity in setup and configuration. While it offers powerful features, getting everything optimized and customized to fit specific business needs can sometimes be time-consuming, especially for users without technical expertise. Additionally, some of the advanced features require a steeper learning curve to fully utilize.

The main downsides of using Solver include the initial implementation effort and the occasional difficulty in troubleshooting issues. Integrations with other systems, while valuable, can sometimes lead to compatibility challenges or slowdowns. Additionally, depending on the version or package, certain advanced features might come with higher costs, which could limit accessibility for smaller teams or organizations with tighter budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Solver solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solver is helping me address challenges related to reporting and financial analysis. Its Excel-like interface makes customizing our reports much easier, allowing us to tailor the data presentations to meet specific business needs. The ability to quickly create, modify, and distribute reports has significantly improved our efficiency in data analysis and decision-making. I also like the levels of each grouping of the projects, they make the projects easy to digest at a glance even when drilling into the daily tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Datarails FP&A Software Implementation”
What do you like best about Datarails?

There were lots of positives with our datarails implementation. First, Datarails hires Finance and Accounting professionals and this was a huge help in our implementation because our partner took the time to understand our business and help structure our financials in an efficient way for the system to process everything.

The software provided my team a lot of benefits including the ability to streamline and automate monthly financial reporting packages and data validation. Additionally, Datarails has enabled the ability for our company to budget collaboratively and given us additional functionality in terms of forecasting, etc.

Datarails is intuitive to professionals working in excel and the way of building formulas is very similar to SUMIFS style formulas or Pivot Tables. One of the things my team loves the most about it is smaller file sizes (60 mb models have become 2-3mb which makes them faster to work in and easier to share with members across our organization without having to break links, etc.)

It's also easy to flow updates to the system if we are changing our chart of accounts, changing how businesses roll-up into regions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Datarails?

Not many things to think of. The platform is user-friendly and it's easy to build formulas. If you have your data in a good spot structure wise, Datarails does a great job of being able to process and produce outputs quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Datarails solving and how is that benefiting you?

Datarails help solve quite a few problems for us, including:

Automating monthly financial close and report distribution

Data Validation

Collaborative budgeting and forecasting

Ability to quickly produce ad hoc reporting

Ease of adjusting data structure and account hierarchies

Significantly reduced file sizes in excel that improves collaboration within the team

All of the above enables our FP&A team to dive into the numbers and financial analysis vs. time spent ensuring reporting is correct and reconciled. What do you like best about AchieveIt?

The software does exactly what we need for our organization to be impact oriented and goal driven. It now gives us transparancy so that we can be alligned in our efforts. It is easy to use, intuitive, allows for APIs to import other data that is useful, and the customization is incredible for it to feel like it was made for us. The single sign on take the burden out of reporting. The implementation of AchieveIt has been flawless because of the great assistance of our AchieveIt team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AchieveIt?

Honestly, I would love to share something constructive but so far, it is a dream. We determined how we wanted to do our university goal setting through OKRs without knowing that AchieveIt would make it such a lighter lift. The best suggestion I can make is that we are considering an enterprise license and would love more information about the cost and options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have implemented OKRs in conjuction with AchieveIt. This system is helping to provide transparency about the goals of each of our units. “Great Customer Service, Visualization, Clear Comprehensive Dashboards, and Easy to Use”
What do you like best about Essential ERM?

Essential ERM is an excellent tool that enables us to engage our business unit leaders effectively, seamlessly aligning our enterprise risks with our strategic objectives. It is an easy-to-use, easy-setup, and flexible system with excellent customer service. The visualization capabilities and clear, comprehensive dashboards make monitoring and managing risks straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Essential ERM?

It is just my personal preference for the future, but possible integration with Power BI to automate reporting would be a valuable enhancement. However, the system does provide comprehensive data analysis itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Essential ERM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Firstly, the product provides great customer service and a comprehensive knowledge base. This was crucial for us because, during the setup stage, especially since it was the first time for our organization, we lacked experience using the platform. The company offers various training sessions, guidance, personal support, and excellent in-system support for any questions. Additionally, the program is easy to use; we easily engaged our leaders and used the voting option online during our meetings. The product is well-designed to bring all the pieces together and monitor the progress of risk mitigation.

Essential ERM addresses several critical issues. The system effectively tracks and manages incidents, linking them to risks, controls, and action plans, which enhances our organizational response and mitigation strategies. Moreover, it aligns enterprise risks with strategic objectives, ensuring that business unit leaders and executives are effectively engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Workday Adaptive Planning has allowed us to remove a lot of our manual work.”
What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

Being able to trust the data. Having a web-based solution for all of our budgeting/forecasting needs that eliminates the multiple versions of Excel documents being sent around. Allows for immediate update of data that executives can review and react to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

Formulas and calculations can be tricky to manage. You need one or two administrators that have a strong knowledge of these as well as triggers. Finding a clear learning path of the product, that does not result in additional charges. Taking an accelerated class on formulas and having to pay for it or pay a consultant is not a solution when we already pay for the product. Dashboards are not user friendly, each tile needs to be manually updated with dates. There are no features to select dates for an entire dashboard tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have created a lot of efficiency in our month-over-month forecasting. Being able to pick up the last month's forecast and create a new version with the existing values means teams can update only those values that have changed and not all values. We can compare against actuals and review trends. The connections to OfficeConnect, allows us to bring updates to individuals on an immediate basis with a refresh. Being able to use the Planning tool within Excel allows users to easily update personnel and capital projects, while also having calculations that are repeatable for future analysis.
