What do you like best about Chargebee?

The in-app features like dunning and one-time invoicing have been really useful for us to easily collect one-time charges from customers. The entity management feature which allows us to control customer creation and handle invoices effortlessly. Chargebee’s latest beta feature, e-invoicing, has significantly reduced our manual effort required for filing invoices. Now, we can simply enable it, and Chargebee takes care of the rest.

We use Chargebee for our daily signup, plan management, and recurring management. When talking about API integration with our system, it works well, and they have the best API documentation.

Also, I want to add that Chargebee has a great UI across all sections, like the checkout portals. We use the in-app checkout portal on our end to collect data. Whenever we need to implement any feature, their API documentation is extremely helpful. Chargebee's implementation process is straightforward and user-friendly. What do you dislike about Chargebee?

Sometimes, support doesn’t have the answers we’re looking for, especially when it comes to customizing certain features to fit our needs. For example, with the 'Invoice status – Not Paid,' we wanted the option for one-time invoices to auto-void if payment fails, either through a workflow or a setting. However, this was not possible, and support denied the request. While I understand this feature can be updated via API, it would be much better to have a workflow rule to handle this automatically. What problems is Chargebee solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I stated previously dunning to reduce subscription cancellation and smart collection and one-time invoicing have been really useful for us to easily collect one-time charges from customers. What do you like best about Clientary?

I've been using Clientary for a while now, and I gotta say, it's been a game-changer for my small business. The thing I love most is how easy it is to use. I'm not exactly a tech whiz, but I picked it up pretty quickly. It didn't take long to set everything up, and before I knew it, I was managing projects, tracking time, and sending invoices like a pro.

One thing that really stands out is how many features they've packed into this thing. It's like a Swiss Army knife for business management. I use it almost every day for different tasks - from keeping tabs on leads to creating proposals. It's pretty cool to have all these tools in one place instead of juggling a bunch of different apps.

The customer support has been solid too. I've only had to reach out a couple of times, but they were quick to help me out. That's always a relief when you're trying to figure things out.

I will say, I haven't really tried to connect Clientary with other software. To be honest, I haven't needed to. It does so much on its own that I haven't felt the need to add anything else to the mix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clientary?

First off, the task management isn't all that great. If you're used to fancy project management tools, you might be a bit disappointed. You can't add custom fields to tasks or upload files directly to them, which can be a pain when you're trying to keep everything organized.

Another thing that drives me nuts is how slow it can be sometimes. There are days when I'm sitting there twiddling my thumbs for 4 or 5 minutes just waiting for the dashboard to load. Talk about a coffee break I didn't ask for!

Oh, and if you're always on the go, you might miss having a mobile app. It's kind of a bummer not being able to quickly check things on your phone when you're out and about.

One small thing that gets on my nerves is having to enter my email twice to log in. I mean, come on, it's 2024! Why do I need to type it twice?

And if you're working on a laptop without a mouse, get ready for some frustration. For some reason, you have to right-click and open things in a new tab a lot, which is a real pain when you're just using a trackpad.

Don't get me wrong, Clientary's not bad. It's just got a few quirks that can be annoying, especially if you're used to other software that does certain things better. But hey, no software's perfect, right? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ARMatic has offered us months for free use while reviewing the program and has finally delivered outstanding support for tens of thousands of dollars cheaper that the Intacct Software itself provides connectivity to allow NonIntacct employees to record bill payments. What do you like best about Loop Subscriptions?

I love how easy it is for the customer to navigate through the app and make changes to their subscription. I think user experience is super important and my previous app didn't offer a lot of 'no brainer' options for the customer, like being able to process an order straight away, and also being able to adjust their ongoing order easily.

After switching to Loop, it was amazing to see how much customers were changing their subscription around. From my point of view this means that customers always wanted these features, and previously they weren't able to easily make the changes they want. This would lead to either direct churn, or at the least lower LTV as they decided the subscription wasn't for them.

Loop is also aggressively implementing new features on their app, so I can tell that they want to build an even better ecosystem for their customers which will lead to an even better customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loop Subscriptions?

The only minor dislike I have at the moment is how they handle prepaid (gift) subscriptions. However, their team helped me implement the best version of a prepaid gift that they can do right now which uses shopify's order scheduling to implement the orders.

They are currently working on their own module for prepaid (gift) subscriptions which is apparently set to be released Q1 2024.. so by the time you're ready to join Loop it may already be a feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bill4Time?

Bill4Time makes it super easy to track your time, generate professional-looking invoices, send bills to clients with click-to-pay buttons on the invoices, generate and send client trust reports, and much more, all at an affordable rate. This allows small, two-person firms like mine the ability to present a professional-looking invoicing solution to our clients. The integrated payment options help us get paid more quickly. Bill4Time is also very responsive on those rare occasions when we've experienced a glitch or need customer support, which has been rare (maybe twice in the past 12 years). The platform allows you to customize and generate reports--so many, in fact, that I have not used them all. Bill4Time also seems very committed to continually improving and upgrading its features but without substantially raising the cost to users like me.
