“The easiest and most straightforward payroll app”
What do you like best about Rippling?

As of recently, I have started using Rippling with a company I started working with last month. This is the easiest straightforward payroll system that doesn't seem to have many issues if any at all compared to their competitors, such as something like ADP. I am able to get all of my financial records and information from them easily, and signing in is also really easy and simple. I have had issues with other companies or payroll systems that do not function as well as this one. I never have issues logging in. When I used other platforms similar to this one, I would have to contact my manager to get into the app more times than not, because it would say that my password wasn't correct, even though it absolutely was. I have not had any issues with Rippling on that kind of issue!! So far, Rippling is awesome! I thoroughly like the set up of things and how easy it is to access my financial information, as well as access to the system itself. Thank you to the Rippling team! 1. Belong to a banking & finance platfrom, we have 100+ sales employees, for them now it is very easy to mark their attendance and raising expense from mobile application, Previously we are highly dependent on the email and sms.

2. Leave and expense approval is now transparent, report is very helful to track the expense amount at the end of financial year.

3. Propsed investment declaration can be done for easy and correct calucation of TDS, previously we need chartered accountants for that.

Having Gusto manage payroll, pay my business taxes and organize all necessary tax documents is a HUGE benefit... my business would not be successful without Gusto.

Even customer support goes above and beyond. I once asked for help changing hours per pay period and the customer support agent sent a very kind, detailed eMail with step by step guidance and arrows to highlight each section of that page. Once I saw the steps, it was quite intuitive, but I did not realize that the employee's name was a hyperlink and that was where all next steps were accessed. What I love most about Greenhouse is its ease of use and the extensive marketplace of third-party applications, which give it superpowers through the many available integrations. It’s rare to find a vendor that isn’t integrated with Greenhouse.

Many recruiters have worked with Greenhouse at some point in their careers, which means the ramp-up time for them is usually very short.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The customization options are quite limited, meaning you have to adapt your processes to Greenhouse, rather than Greenhouse adapting to your processes.

While it's a solid ATS, the additional features they’ve developed (CRM, sourcing automation, etc.) fall short of expectations. I would have liked to see the same level of quality in these native features as in their core product.

What do you like best about BambooHR?

It saves me so much time. It allows for consistency and thoroughness on onboarding. The performance review process and engagement surveys are a dream! What do you dislike about BambooHR?

My only suggestion on how to make it better is on the engagement surveys. When they are sent out, there is not a way to pick the employees that you want to complete it. We have our board of directors in our employee count. They dont take the engagement survey, so that does affect the numbers. What do you dislike about Remote?

It is very difficult to understand how to work with Remote as a contractor when providing services as a company but residing in a different country.

Invoicing functionality misses drafts - whenever I quit the form of creating invoice my progress is not saved.

The worst thing that happened to me was automated invoicing: my employer has issued and paid an invoice automatically without my review - with a random number that messes up my whole bookkeeping and without a valid VAT number that is required in EU when working with b2b transactions between eu companies. Even though it is a communication issue, I have never seen employers to issue employee's invoices and it's just not how it should be done.

It is really easier to have an e-signed contract with any software available on the market and handle invoices yourself, if you are a company providing services in EU.

The mobile app is completely useless but it's installation is recommended in every corner of this software. I have installed it and it always redirects me to a mobile browser because something is not yet supported in the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UKG Ready?

The user interface is intuitive and easy to use.

The UKG site is accessible anywhere via the mobile site on my work phone which is great when working off site.

I also like the ability to customise the home page to suit my needs.

What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Nothing major, just two small things.

Sometimes I accidentally press "Clock Out" intead of "Clock In" in the morning which messes up the timesheet.

This can't be corrected immediately due to my user level so I need to contact my manager to fix it.

I understand the reasoning for user level restrictions but it would be good to have a way to fix small errors like this immediately to save time (maybe within a 5 minute time limit or something similar?)

Another thing I wasn't able to work out is how to log in to the mobile app (from the iOS store).

I entered my company name but it wasn't recognised, maybe our IT team need to enable something but it would be good if the onboarding process was clearer.

What do you like best about Justworks?

Software: Software is slighlty more usable than all other PEO's. It doesn't do much, but it's not difficult to navigate.

Pricing: Pricing is much more transparent than most PEO providers.

What do you dislike about Justworks?

- Poor Benefits Quality: Depth and breadth of benefits offerings, especially medical, is poor.

- Poor Support Service Stratgy: All of our account managers have been dedicated and professional. However, JustWorks' service model is such that your representatives are service/sales people, not experts in payroll, tax, benefits or compliance. You cannot directly connect with relevant experts when you need help. Tax issues are often unresolved as a result. Thankfully we've had few other issues with sensitive areas, but I have no confidence that JustWorks has staff with deep expertise in these areas if an issue did arise.

- No real HRIS functionality: Most PEO's don't have decent HRIS features, but my predecsccors selected JustWorks because the software looked/felt better than other PEO's. This is true, but there is very little onboarding and reporting functionality.

- Poor Benefits Implementation: Open enrollment and other benefits implementation is self-serve. No expert support in modeling benefit coverage options. I had to fight to get the minimal support I received, which was far below the basic level of service I expect from a PEO or benefits provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about RUN is that my employees get paid timley, accuratley and without it being rocket science. The features in RUN are great, each section of the business has an area that is clear and user friendly. If you are not sure about the section you can check the help section or search bar with ease. Implementing RUN was a breeze with the OTTO onboarding feature. Setting up employees and adding them to payroll is also simple. I use RUN daily not just for payroll but many HR questions. Keka is the best application which has very user friendly and interactive UI , with integrated payroll, time tracking, and leave management. What do you like best about Hubstaff?

The first thing everyone noticed when we started to use Hubstaff was that most team members were spending long hours on their computers but only effectively working 2-3 hours, which was an eye-opener - why we're all long hours on the computers but not being productive? The team now is more mindful of how they use their time; we get more done in less time, and no one needs to work late nights or extra hours. The design is nice and clean and the platform’s layout is intuitive—no fumbling around to find what I need. Getting things kicked off was also simpler than other tools I've worked with before.

What do you like best about Paylocity?

I use Paylocity throughout the day every single day of the work week. I value how intuitive the user interace is. It is relatively straightforward to locate features I need. It is not clunky, laggy, or cluttered looking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

Customer support at Paylocity is outstanding for resonsiveness, however, I do have issues with their efficency at problem solving. It often takes weeks if not months to resolve an issue from beginning to end. I also find it frustating to see modules rolled out to customers that still have a large amount of internal bugs and issues. EX: Workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Paylocity solving and how is that benefiting you?

Paylocity is fantastic for storing employee information and payroll records in a straightforward, easy to use way. Our employee population is a younger demographic that often struggles with basic directions, but I find that they are able to easily navigate around the self service portal to find and edit employee data without much direction thanks to Paylocity's interface.
