What problems is Salesforce Field Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

I dispatch dozens of work orders daily for 24 forepersons. We recently launched Field Service for front-end desk users and mobile users in the field. The drag-and-drop functionality in scheduling makes this feature so easy to use from my chair and the field personnel being able to quickly see their service appointments on a map, reject or accept what's been dispatched to them is fast and easy to do. In our construction industry, moving away from paper even into spreadsheet took time. Graduating to filling out forms on an iPad was the next step. It's not an industry known to be accepting of change. But Salesforce makes it so easy, our early adopters have seen the benefit and picked it up immediately. Impressive!! What do you like best about AutoLeap?

It is a good concept but we felt it is too basic and for us is not ready to service a shop like Mitchell or Tekmetrics can. We were told it was a work in progress, however it was no where near where we felt it should be to be used in a professional shop environment.

We left after a year because we felt like most of the promises given to us were not actually brought into manifestation.

Leaving was even a drama because they set up their contracts on annual auto renew without notification, thankfully they did let us out of the contract and were very kind.

The team is nice but we felt it was ineffective and they required constant follow up for the things that were promised if they were even done at all. For example we were told they would manually do the payroll reports and send them to me, as it was being worked on to be integratd into their system. However, nearly every pay period I had to ask for the data until finally I just resorted to doing it all myself so I did not have to beg for it.

After a year, the payroll was still not working as we had expected it to, like other systems we had used, and there was other things that just felt too beta for us to continue working with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AutoLeap?

Switching to Autoleap is probably the biggest mistake we have ever made as a business, there is nothing I regret more. We felt like this system was not ready to do what was promised t would. We feel like nothing that was told to us was manifested. We were promised that we would always have access to our cloud records even if we left, that is NOT the case. We have requested access to our records many times after we were cut out but they say since we are no longer paying for their services we do not have a right to our data.

We do not want to use anything in Autoleap except for accessing the records we paid to build in thier system. That is not what we were told when they sold us on the site, nor when we left. There is work records missing, all of the vehicle description data was lost in transition for 100% of classic cars. They reset to zero vehicle description for hundreds of cars, and alot of data from our transfer to our new cloud system was missing like texts communications, customer notification and digital consents. Some cases we suspect the entire work order history is missing but without access to the cloud data we built we have no way of knowing unless a customer provides us with a copy of the work order or the date so we can pull our paper records out of archives.

They only transfered over the very basic information and in some cases not even the basics. Anything that was not a modern car (about 40% of our business is classics) the vehicle came over with zero vehicle description or year. It was an absolute poop show tying to deal with those records from the year we were with them. Every other system we have been on has a process to allow past users to access their information while not getting anything they are not paying for, Autoleap should have the ability for people to log in and access their records, but we have been told repeatedly we will not be granted access to our records unless we continue to pay for the ongoing service. Everyone should be aware that this may be the case for them if they choose to transition to Autoleap and ever decide to leave to another platform. I am in the process of submitting a Attorney General complaint about it. The irony is we have not been on Mitchell for over two years but we can still access all over records going back to the early 2000's.

*review from when we were brand new and given alot of promises that were yet to be fullfilled~Probably the only thing is that this is newer and still has a couple of things, however, I would not even really consider this as something I dislike, it's more of a temporary inconvenience that will be rectified with new updates very soon. Shopmonkey has been a big help and a great program for the last handful of years. It speeds up workflow in too many ways for me to list, and I usually recommend it if you're feeling like things at your garage could be more streamlined, because Shopmonkey is how. Shopmonkey is falling very quickly from where it once stood. The customer service is not as personal as it once was, and the lack of updates is painfully frustrating when you're being told about the "new version" for multiple years with no release, and yet the current version is still breaking once a week keeping you from using it for hours on a busy day. It is becoming more difficult by the day to recommend Shopmonkey, a program I once praised to everyone to a program that is very useful but has better alternatives at far better prices. im not sure if it is a setting or standard but the technician side is more restricted than a service writer in assigning work. the technician needs to see just as much as a service writer if not more. the DVI also doesnt have a tab for struts so I am taking pictures in the "other" tab. I love the mobile integration. Creating an estimate, scheduling a job, or creating an invoice is a snap on my phone. The app is intuitive and well laid out. Chat, group chat and channels are some of the best features but there is SO much more. Our company started out looking for a platform for better company communications. Connecteam checked this box and did it very well but there are so many other features we use regularly. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

Absolutely the biggest gripe is how Connecteam advertises a QuickBooks integration to export timesheets. This is inaccurate as you can only export regular hours. You cannot export PTO or OT from Connecteam to QBO......major bummer.

The ability to customize the home page or "Feed" page would be nice. The default shortcuts aren't always what's most frequently used by users.

What do you like best about ServiceTitan?

One of the best things about ServiceTitan is the community that is on Facebook that allows you ask questions to other contractors that are using the software. Some times it is better to ask someone using it daily, then asking the people that have to learn the software from a technical standpoint instead of an operations standpoint. What do you like best about XOi?

Our technicians in the field need to have a fast easy way to navigate and input some of the data we need during onsite visits. XOi has both a mobile app for mobile use / technician input and a website that is easy to design your own workflows. We like the fact that our technicians don't need a computer degree to understand how to fill out the workflows and for our supervisors creating the workflows are easy, super intuitive and user friendly. First, creating a platform that is easy to use - our techinicans seem to like it and not dread doing the paperwork. We have been successful with this product with our Commercial Brach and now we have just started with our Residential Team. DataPlate capture is big. Tech can scan the dataplate containing model and serial and we can caputure that data in a database for marketing or equipment replacement purposes when the equipment becomes a certain age. It has every step of the labor contracting process built in. You can even customize it to your liking or business needs. This is exactly what we were looking for, and all for a great price.

It is not always obvious when there is an app update, and sometimes the data can come through incorrectly or drivers will experience issues loading with an old version of the app. Although uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixes the issue 9 out of 10 times, a pop up/alert when there is a new version would he handy. What do you like best about Azuga Fleet?

The Azuga Fleet platform has been one of the best decisions our company has made to manage our fleet. We are currently using the GPS data loggers as well as the safety cams. The combination of these two products allows us to know the location of any vehicle in our fleet that is in motion or parked. The AI Safety dash cam has provided edudcational opportunities for our drivers to become better drivers and also provides video coverage in the event of an accident. When I have had to speak to anyone from the company from their sales team to the support team, the experience has been helpful and easy to navigate with solutions that work being provided on the first call. The amount of data someone can see from the data loger capture is customizeable and can be utilized for specific needs of your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azuga Fleet?

Currently there is an upgrade happening to the platform that has been somewhat difficult to navigate. I think that this has been a difficulty for us because of our timing to adopt the platform. Even though this has been a frustration at times, the staff has been great at receiving feedback and suggestions for improvements and features that we might like to see.
