“Fun to experiment with!”
What do you like best about Rebelle?

I'm finally getting used to this software. It's simple enough to get started using it, but it's power is in the different paint settings and water dynamics. You can actually move paint around on the canvas by adding water and using the page tilt control! It's great for making abstract art digitally in a way that wasn't possible before. The realistic look of all the art tools is really impressive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Depending on the user, it may be time consuming to learn like complex brush settings and how to work with the water dynamics. Also, there is a liquify setting in the smudge tool which seems rather slow and it doesn't look as natural as I'd like. This software could actually be the answer to digital liquid acylic paint pouring and other fluid art techniques but it's not quite there yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebelle solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's a new aproach to digital art. It's giving me the chance to experiment in ways I couldn't have before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Versatile tool for coworking”
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro Review

Miro has completely transformed the way I collaborate with others. It’s more than just a digital whiteboard—it’s a space where ideas truly come to life. The collaborative features are outstanding, making it incredibly easy for teams to work together in real time, no matter where they are.

What I love most is how intuitive it is to use. Sharing ideas, sketching out concepts, and organizing thoughts feel so natural. Miro has this way of breaking down complex ideas and making them easy to communicate. It’s perfect for brainstorming sessions, planning projects, or even just getting everyone on the same page quickly.

If you’re looking for a tool that brings teams together and makes ideas flow effortlessly, Miro is a must-have. It’s become an essential part of how I work, and I can’t imagine going back to anything else! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Room for Improvement with Miro

While Miro is an incredible tool for collaboration, there are a few areas where it could improve. One issue I’ve noticed is how the platform struggles with performance when handling a large number of images or PDFs. Scrolling through such boards can become laggy, which disrupts the otherwise smooth experience.

Another challenge is with the iPhone version. While it’s great to have Miro on mobile, I’ve had instances where I accidentally moved objects on the board just by navigating. This can be frustrating, especially when working on detailed layouts or during collaborative sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Robust Visual Collaboration Suite with Powerful Diagramming Capabilities (sans AI)”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I consider the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to be a strategic asset that has significantly enhanced our team's ability to communicate complex ideas and processes through visual mediums. We use it every Sprint and the ability for multiple team members to work on diagrams concurrently, provide feedback through comments, and track changes has streamlined our ideation and review processes. One thing I like the best is the extensive shape libraries that make it easy for our team to produce professional-grade visuals without requiring design expertise. The seamless integration with JIRA has sped up the Product Owner to Developer timeline and required next-to-nothing in terms of implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

One area of disappointment for me has been Lucid's AI-powered features. While the core diagramming and collaboration capabilities are excellent, I've found the AI functionality to be somewhat lacking, no matter how detailed my requirements or instructions are. The AI-driven features like automated layout and content generation simply don't seem to deliver the intelligence and contextual awareness that I was hoping for. Even when I provide very specific parameters and examples, the AI-generated outputs often miss the mark in terms of capturing the nuance and intent I'm looking for in my diagrams. I don't use the software for the AI features so it's not a big deal for me, but as a feature I feel like it was rolled out too early in order to ride the "AI wave." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to Lucid, our team relied on a patchwork of different diagramming tools and software, which made it difficult to maintain consistency and robustness in our visual assets. Lucid has provided us with a centralized platform that offers a comprehensive set of diagramming capabilities. We can now ideate on diagrams together, gather feedback, and iterate quickly - all while maintaining a single source of truth. This has significantly improved alignment and reduced the back-and-forth that used to plague our visual projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“My honest review about Canva.”
What do you like best about Canva?

Something I like best about Canva is understanding arrangement and availability simple. Whether or not you are familiar visual computerization, Canva simplifies it to make capable looking content shortly, because of its wide arrangement of versatile configurations, text styles, pictures, and parts. I moreover love the planned exertion features, which simplify it to confer dares to partners and get analysis logically. Likewise, Canva consistently adds new mechanical assemblies, like man-made brainpower energized plan thoughts, that help with streamlining the inventive methodology and move novel considerations!

Best working experience of 1 year . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

I oftenly dislike about Canva is that it has more stuff for premium user, it doesn't gives benefit to beginners as comaprison to premium users. It should make some more content to use for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

1.Making design accessible:

Canva's user-friendly interface and drag-and-drop features make it easy for people with no formal design training to create professional-looking designs.

2.Simplifying the design process:

Canva's templates, stock media, and AI features help users create designs without starting from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“We dropped all PDF Editor's”
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

We've dropped all "Professional" PDF editors entirely where I work. I know that not every company can do it, but we replaced Adobe Pro with Browser PDF Reader, Stirling-PDF for document manipulation, merges, splits, conversions, etc. and finally we already had DocuSign for forms/signing needs.

In the end we dropped all the Pro licensing (saving money already), and we were able to roll out PDF manipulation to all the employees entirely free (a win in my book). And the employees that needed forms/signing already had DocuSign so no added costs there.

So far, no complaints from anyone, and in fact some have actually expressed how much more they prefer it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

Updates without admin is not a thing, so wake up about automated patching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a significant number of drafters and designers, and Foxit was a no-go for their compatibility challenges. We dumped 80+ Acrobat 10-15 and 100 Foxit licenses to go to PDF Xchange Pro, the top of the line license, for 250 seats. Super support and features, and Canadian, so a whole lot of compliance non-issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A great software for creating beautiful presentations and document”
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign?

I find InDesign very easy to use. The way images are linked instead of embedded into the file saves on file size. This also eliminates the need to replace any image contet if it has been revised in another program. Even though InDesign is mostly a publishing software, I have used it most often to create presentations for clients with easy to make layouts that look professional. I also will often use InDesign as a quick way to communicate and discuss changes or edits to designs (for example 3D renders), so there is an easy visual document, instead of just going back and forth in emails with attachments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe InDesign?

Of course the software has been updated many times over the years, but I find that I don't use any of the newer features. For me I just need the basic functions from version CS6 as crazy as that sounds. I feel the amount of tools and menu options has made the key features get lost, and I have to spend more time looking for the tools I really need. I also don't like how the color palette works. I would prefer something more similar to Photoshop or Illustrator as far as how to add and manage colors in the document. InDesign's way of having a default palette, but color chips that are not easy to edit or add to the palette is cumbersum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe InDesign solving and how is that benefiting you?

An easy way to make non destruction presentations with consistent formatting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Affinity Designer is a professional tool for creating vector graphics”
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

The vector editor, Affinity Designer, really impressed me. First of all, it is not expensive, has many export formats (including EPS, which is very important for me as a designer working with micro stocks and has necessary functions that I'm not seeing in the most famous vector editors. Also, I like the user-friendly and customizable interface. I didn't have many programs crashes with Affinity Designer, although I sometimes worked with large files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

I wish to see more valuable features in Affinity Designer. Significant improvement needs a Bezier tool and a tool that allows cutting forms. It would be great to improve the export window to obtain a faster result, especially with many exported files. The trace function also needs development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Affinity Designer solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to export to Lottie format means I will have no problems inserting animations into applications/websites. Customer support is worth mentioning as it is very good, prompt and friendly. I decided to give paslfy a try beause I was looking for an alternative/complementary solution to Canva and I decided to give Plasfy a chance.

As first impressions it does it job, has a lot of room for improvementse, but given the start up status of Plasfy, it has time to close the gap among more settled competitors.

It also comes with a selection of interesting upselling products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plasfy?

Site speed is reeeeeeeally slow making UX somehow painful. I hope it is just a temporary issue.

Plasfy comes with a bundle of bonuses and offers, although most of them doesn't seem to be really useful and some are unfriendly to use (having access to a bunch of content resources only to discover that they are available through a google cloud shared folder making it almost impossible to find what you ar looking for). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchWow?

Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SketchWow solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Heat Maps and Density Modeling with Maptive”
What do you like best about Maptive?

There is an abundance of features at your disposal, with everything from physical map changes to completely customizable coloring of data. The only excuse for lacking aesthetics is not exploring all of the features to discover different ways to change the displays. Maptive works well for its intended use: displaying geo-spatially specific data onto a map. The customer service team is quick to respond and will help you work through issues. Overall great product that will help turn a boring table or array of data into an interesting map or series of maps to help get your point across for a sales pitch or a research paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maptive?

The integration of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (in my case Sheets) was slightly challenging to get correct. There are some small details in headings and formatting of data to get right to make sure the synchronization works efficiently, that if ignored, make it so the data does not show up properly. Once everything is set up right, then it works quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Maptive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Maptive could be applied in nearly every case where data is cataloged by some location, but in my case it displayed my data throughout the Houston Metropolitan Area for a research project on electric vehicle charge anxiety. Maptive allowed me to take thousands of cells of data and compile it into a series of maps that showed electric vehicle distributions by zip code and Tesla Supercharging Stations with heat maps to create density maps. Undoubtedly the maps it produced made the research project much more manageable to read through from an outsider's perspective and demonstrated the data in a way that everyone should be able to understand. My only regret is that I didn't have the time and resources to do more with Maptive for this specific research project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dropping a pdf into the program is super easy, I like that you can add links right onto specific parts of a page. The reading experience is great, and customizable - also works for reverse bound books. It's not an overly complicated program so is easy to get a hang of.

The fact that "Zine" is an affordable one time fee was perfect for a tiny and risky startup. I personally dislike subscriptions, especially at that early stage and this was the only one I found so it was a quick "yes".

A few years later I was able to show it to a partner working on a similar, but more successful startup and he loved it! Now we have the Creative teir and have lot's of flip books to make. Part of why we got this teir was the fact that Flowpaper will host your flip books and we can both work from our own, distant computers and tag team them.

Physically printing everything we have is preventatively expensive and many of our readers would like access on the go but scrolling isn't the experience we want to provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
