The use of layers further helps me organise my illustrations, make individual adjustments, and experiment with different designs without having to start over each time.

Personally, I find the advantages of Illustrator to be significant. It streamlines my creative workflow, making it easier to bring my ideas to life quickly and with a professional finish. What I find most frustrating about Lucid is that several helpful features are only available with the Pro plan, which is rather costly for me as a student and someone at the beginning of my career. This limitation makes it challenging to take full advantage of the tool or use it extensively for learning purposes and building my portfolio. Additionally, I have experienced occasional slowdowns in performance, especially when working on larger diagrams or collaborating with several people simultaneously. Sometimes the connection arrows are very frustrating as they will snap to the wrong side of the box and I will have to go into an extreme level of detail (i.e. zoom in at 400%) in order to locate the tiny dot that connects the arrow to the box so that I can move it. My company uses this product to draw pictures of our servers, because prior to this method, we would email each other files back and forth and no one knew which file was the most current. Now, I simply create the flowchart on the board and if someone decides to delete it, that is their responsibility. The export format limitations represent the most significant constraint I encounter regularly.

Canva doesn’t support exporting to professional formats like PSD, AI, or INDD, which means designs created in Canva cannot be easily transferred to Adobe software for further editing by professional designers.

Recraft is an incredibly smooth, intuitive, and reliable AI design tool. Every feature works flawlessly, the interface is clean, and results are consistently high-quality. There is nothing to dislike about Foxit pdf editor because it is a simple user friendly PDF editing software that you can access from its application or from the web browser itself. As a CA, i regularly need to deal with PDFs, and i sometime need to edit it. This software is a one stop solution for both PDF reading and editing. LAYERS EXPORT:

I am a generation of MS Visio, but dropped it for EdrawMax. However, the inability to have layers exported as part of the PDF file is a big deal. It is always great for presentation purposes to toggle the layers on/off when taking someone through your chart. It would be tremendously powerful to have the option to export the PDF to include layers by default, with the layers fully having the same interactivity in the exported PDF as it is in the app.

GUI THEMES:

It would be great to have various additional themes in the app, allowing the user to have the customization possible in apps like PDF Xchange Pro, where the user can customize the GUI theme and colors to their taste.
