What do you like best about Gusto?

Rippling has been a game-changer for our company, offering a user-friendly interface that makes managing HR tasks seamless. What do you dislike about Rippling?

While the AI chat support is great, it would be beneficial to have a phone support option for more complex issues if they arise. Additionally, for salaried employees, I'd love to see an option to track project time without needing to input breaks as a job code. This would be especially helpful for engineering project timekeeping. Although we've found a workaround, having this feature would enhance the platform's usability. What do you like best about Expensify?

I suppose if I need to say something nice about it, it did eventually get the job done for us for a period of time, although it was expensive and the support was absolutely terrible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Expensify?

Where do I start? The set-up interface is the most confusing I've experienced, even compared to software that does much more complex tasks. It's very expensive. I've found free software that does exactly what Expensify did and more. And the support was absolutely terrible, we were on a paid plan and only got access to something they call "Concierge" which is like a support chat where you are passed around from agent to agent. We used Expensify for employee expense reports. As I mentioned, for a period of time it did function as expected, but the set-up was terrible. What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

I dislike everything. The approval process is cumbersome and inflexible:

-Approvals do not apply to other airports in the same region (e.g. I needed to request a new approval to change my airport from DFW to DAL and while I was awaiting the new approval, fares went up)

-Approvals do not work for multi-city trips. I secured approval for a multi-city trip, and Navan had me book the first leg on its own. When I finished booking it, I had lost approval to book the second leg, so I had to request another approval, which wasted a lot of time during which the fare went up.

Changing indirect flights is incredibly hard. I had to change each leg independently, which took me at least 30-45 minutes to figure out, and then Navan didn't have the same flights or fares as the airline's own site. I could not make changes directly with the airline because Navan retains control of the ticket (which Concur did not). I had to call Navan while I was traveling internationally and waste a lot of time to get the flight changed. It was a cumbersome and tiring process that led to a higher fare. What do you like best about BambooHR?

I mean where to start, we love pretty much everything about BambooHR. Our company has always been very particular with and critical of any platform we use. However, we actually have so few criticisms. Their onboarding and training was so helpful, everything is well documented. The platform is super easy to use and as a small HR team of two, it makes our lives so much easier. Our favorite feature is the automated onboarding. It automatically creates tasks for anyone you want, and makes it so easy to ensure employees sign and submit all the required documentation. As a medium sized organization this is so incredibly helpful in ensuring that onboarding is fully completed quickly and effectively. We love being able to bulk import information, bulk update staff profiles, and create custom fields in their profiles. Those custom fields can also be pulled into custom reports (which is by far the easiest report creation module I have ever used). BambooHR also has an incredibly helpful customer service and sales team. I could legitimately go on for days raving about how much I love this platform. Any items we do find, we simply give them the feedback. Their team is constantly developing and rolling out new features or improvements. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for the future! What do you dislike about BambooHR?

There are very very few things I think could be improved in the platform. The main item is the performance management module is a little restrictive with how many questions you can ask. It's still super easy to use but for our company's use case it's the only thing that isn't optimal. The only other item I can think of is when employees retroactively request PTO it doesn't automatically get added into payroll. Then when you manually add it in it gets deducted from their leave bank for a second time. This one is really small item and a lot of HRIS platforms perform this way. What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a small HR department, BambooHR automates so much of the time consuming work like sending documents for signature, filing, obtaining onboarding requirements, sending emails for ATS, tracking information, creating comprehensive and easy to read reports, and so on. It overall makes the tedious parts of HR easier and allows me to focus my time more on meeting company objectives, analyzing data, ensuring legal compliance, and dedicating more time and attention on our employees. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Sage Intacct's accounting software helps in end to end accounting process. I work in the accounts payable and it's features of creation of new vendor, extracting reports, processing bills - whether a single currency bill or multi-currency bill is easy to understand and once understood easy of use as well.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The different dimensions (Classes, Departments, vendors, Customer etc.) are split in different applications. If it can be merged into one single application - "Company", it would be more easy to use.

What do you like best about Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense)?

Prior to going with Chrome River we used an "in house" or "homegrown" version of an expense system. While it was ok for the time, it was not right for our growth. After launching Chrome River and gettting the employees to learn the easy system, it has saved Numerous hours at various levels. First with the mobile app and feature of obtaining the receipts at time of creation, it allows the busy traveling employees then to focus on their "main jobs" while delegates can prepare their reports while the employees are still traveling. Our turn around time to reimburse or reconcile our corporate cards has cut over 60%. Also, using the built in Analytics allows the Admin, leadership to have visibility as spend is happening, and tracking the lagging reports to ensure these expenses are being exported into our financial systems in a timely manner, along with giving us keen insight into our spending habits, showing trends, alowing us to make informed decisions. Many relied on getting information from the financial system, but Analytics provides detailed information, especially on those costs that have yet to export. Great Product with easy to use tools. Some of the reminder "emails" i wish we could change them EASILY to fit our language and to be easier to read for our employees. "i.e. Firm Paid" I understand the history coming from the legal market, but in our company and other universities we do not use that language. It should be customizable. What do you like best about Ramp?

We have approximately 20 employees currently and heavy credit card usage. It has been very easy for everyone to get used to using Ramp, both through the app and the website. LOVE the virtual cards as it has already saved us having to cancel physical cards when there has been suspected fraud (which Ramp notified us of immediately). As the admin, I found it fairly easy to set up custom policies that match our company policies, and approval workflows that work for our organization. We are also using the travel piece and expense reimbursements. With employees in Europe and the ability to reimburse them in their currency, it's really nice. I have called support a few times with questions, and they have always been very friendly and helpful. They always follow up with an email which I like as well. I'm in the system daily and love it. Also, using integration with Sage Intacct, and it works beautifully. Saves me a lot of time, and I was able to set it up myself using the clear instructions Ramp posted. What do you dislike about Ramp?

The travel portion is lacking some things - only goes through Priceline so that knocks out some airlines (Southwest) and there is no way to book trains (we have employees who take Amtrak from DC to New York fairly regularly). Also can have an employee set up as a delegate for someone else (like an assistant to put their receipts in for them) but would also be nice if the delegate could book travel for their manager. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam has training/informational videos on demand that you can watch quickly to understand how to use the different modules in Connecteam. If you cannot find what you need, or if you just want to talk/chat with a person, you can connect with a customer service person quickly. Each Connecteam Rep I have spoken to have been very helpful and made sure I understood their direction before they disconnected.

Implementation was easy with our 130 employees. It was easy to connect them all and explain the features we are using.

I really have not found a downside with Connecteam yet. They are consantly updating and upgrading the platform, improving the different modules.

What do you like best about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

The platform is easy to use, easy to manage, and the expense reporting function is great. A little work is required on the front end to set it all up and connect it to Quickbooks, but once it's set up, it's fairly autonomous. I like the "rules" that can be set up to create continuity between the platform and my organization's spending policies. What do you dislike about BILL Spend & Expense (Formerly Divvy)?

One downside I've experienced is there is no way (or at least that I've found) to assign a Class in Quickbooks. When importing/syncing transactions to Quickbooks, it automatically imports to a "None" class, which requires a reclassification on my end. It's not a big deal, but it can be problematic. Customer Support: I would also prefer a phone call to chats which lead to phone calls or emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can upload receipts right after a purchase but sending a photo and I can input all the information through the automated text message. The email reminders to fyle receipts is only helpful when I have reciepts that need fyled. Otherwise, getting thos emails when I thought I was finished with my fyles makes me panic slightly that I did not finish something and can take up time for me to go in and check. Not a huge deal though to be honest. Overall this is a great system.

The best part about NetSuite is the ease of use for new users across our organization. Being able to add new users and have them up and running within a few days is a huge time save for our business. The fact that there are constantly new updates and features to the software always make me feel like we are on the cutting edge of each new type of technology. What do you dislike about Remote?

There’s not much to dislike, but if I had to point out one thing, it would be that the onboarding process could be a bit more streamlined. While the platform is user-friendly once set up, the initial steps required a little extra effort to navigate. However, the support team was helpful in addressing any questions along the way. Remote solves the problem of receiving timely, hassle-free payments from international clients, especially for contractors like me based in India. What do you like best about Mesh Payments?

Great customer support whenever I have needed to contact them, and generally easy to make online payments and in-person payments with the linked card.

The only limitations here, which can be confusing for UK merchants, is that this is signature based rather than PIN based (Yes, I get the occasionally funny look). The card is all black, so there is no visible signature to verify.

There are also merchants and payment providers who do not accept this type of card online, though they are few and far between. Some charge an additional fee (seems highly suspect) for using a VISA Business card, or 'pre-paid' card also, which hasn't been ideal when needed.

Receipt management is easy due to the instant email notifcations and simple interface online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Android application and iOS application doesn't comes with all the functions which available in the website, which is downside for the user who use the keka in application.
