What do you like best about Deel?

As a contractor, getting paid has always been a hassle with platforms like PayPal—high fees and slow processing times made it frustrating. Deel, on the other hand, is incredibly fast. I can even transfer my earnings directly to my debit card with minimal fees, and instant transfers are much more affordable. It’s by far the smoothest payment solution I’ve used. What do you dislike about Deel?

One thing that could be improved is the withdrawal options. While Deel offers fast transfers, the availability of certain payout methods depends on the country, and some can have higher fees. What do you like best about Rippling?

We've been using Rippling for several years now, and it's been a great experience. Rippling is really quite a few steps ahead of other management software. It's more modern and professional, yet leaves fun art on each paystub. I love the experiences for selecting insurance, exploring the org chart, checking your pay, opening other services with SSO, or managing your employees. Throughout all experiences, it is thoughtfully designed and never encroaches on confusing or overly detailed, even during onboarding and insurance selection. What do you like best about Gusto?

I had no idea what Gusto was until my accountant recommended I try it for running my payroll of my S-Corp. I was a little confused at first as I had a full service payroll company prior to this, but was paying out the nose for it. I was open to taking a more integral role in running it myself through Gusto, but needed a guiding hand. Luckily, the customer service person I spoke with at Gusto was so kind, patient, and easy to deal with. She walked me through the whole process and made it a breeze. I am forever grateful. What do you like best about AutoLeap?

Autoleap, while taking a little bit to get used to, has streamlined the entire work order building and parts ordering side of the industry. From checking vehicle history to being able to finally go practically paperless, Autoleap has made my day much easier overall. What do you dislike about AutoLeap?

While I do enjoy most of Autoleap's features, there are a few things that leave something to be desired. One thing is that you do not have the ability to mark parts as ordered if you do not order them through Autoleap directly. Meaning if you call in a parts order, you cannot mark those parts as ordered, and therefore cannot enter any buyout information. Also, timesheet cannot be edited same day, and finally, no chat function from the tech to the advisors or notification when DVI has been submitted. What do you like best about NetSuite?

Finally getting all of our inventory & finances under one platform has been nice, and the ability to create custom saved searches and financial statements. We have a unique retail industry where we are selling used ski equipment as well as new ski equipment. Working out all of the details on getting the used inventory into the system has been tricky. We've also struggled with fulfillment on specific orders that have services tied to them, or where inventory is trying to pull from multiple warehouse locations. Netsuite is helping our business better keep track of inventory & the finances related to the inventory purchased and sold. What do you like best about Remote?

I am part of the HR team, meaning I have the pleasure of dealing with Remote both in an employee capacity as in an employer capacity. I love the live chat support, the team is always quick and efficient to reply! Our customer success manager is also amazing, it’s great to have a dedicated person to provide the firm with continuous support. Having worked with multiple EORs in the best I find Remote brilliant when compared to others, mostly due to the main differentiator for me that is the customer service efficiency and speediness, speaking from both an employee as employer perspective. When it comes to payroll it gets confusing sometimes and having a solid answer takes time. Tekmetric has so many integrations. That whatever your need in your shop program it is easy to obtain. Being able to text estimates and invoice to customers has been very valuable. They can review their estimate and approve online. Once send invoice they can also pay online Not only do I love Tekmetric but my customers love it also. Easy to navigate the system even a novice will pick up the system. Estimates are quick and easy with being able to pull multiple labor and parts references at once. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

I can easily log in from my laptop or phone (i.e., works best with the Wi-Fi off). It is very straight forward. You click "modify punch" for any missing ones or corrections needed. You select "My Time" or "Request Time Off" for time off. Hours are rounded up or down, but you can see this on the timesheet. It clarifies available time-off hours and reflects approvals of requests. A message is also sent to update you. I work for an FQHC, so this is our second or third product since I have been here. So far there have been no major issues and we all love it. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

I need to turn off Wi-Fi to punch in or out on my phone. By not doing so, the punch would sync 1-2 days later. Then sometimes they do not sync at all. I would also like to be add to manually add in missed punches myself, but you have to submit a request and do it that way. It simplifies bill processing and automation also very easy which ultimately reduces human error.

Flexibility to make the payments is one more advantage of having a BILL and the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for users with little accounting experience. The platform’s automation also reduces the risk of late payments or missing invoices, improving cash flow management.

It is easy to integrate/implement with Intacct as well.

Customer support is also very good and they respond early with an accurate solution.

What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

Run is so easy to navigate through, adding employees and all information necessary for their payroll profiles. Processing is an easy process. Setting up our new account was very successful with follow up along the way and also having an implementation team available for questions. Features are easy to navigate through and the integration from our old payroll company to ADP was amazingly seamless and thorough. Wish I could add customized deduction codes, ie: we do an automatic half hour deduction, I am manually entering this on a daily basis. We don't accrue vacation, PTO, or sick time so again have a deduction code so I could enter on their time sheet would be fantastic. I had both of the features with previous company. Software: Software is slighlty more usable than all other PEO's. It doesn't do much, but it's not difficult to navigate.

Pricing: Pricing is much more transparent than most PEO providers.

What do you dislike about Justworks?

- Poor Benefits Quality: Depth and breadth of benefits offerings, especially medical, is poor.

- Poor Support Service Stratgy: All of our account managers have been dedicated and professional. However, JustWorks' service model is such that your representatives are service/sales people, not experts in payroll, tax, benefits or compliance. You cannot directly connect with relevant experts when you need help. Tax issues are often unresolved as a result. Thankfully we've had few other issues with sensitive areas, but I have no confidence that JustWorks has staff with deep expertise in these areas if an issue did arise.

- No real HRIS functionality: Most PEO's don't have decent HRIS features, but my predecsccors selected JustWorks because the software looked/felt better than other PEO's. This is true, but there is very little onboarding and reporting functionality.

- Poor Benefits Implementation: Open enrollment and other benefits implementation is self-serve. No expert support in modeling benefit coverage options. I had to fight to get the minimal support I received, which was far below the basic level of service I expect from a PEO or benefits provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Keka HRMS is very user friendly. Has been of great help for a start-up company like ours. Helped us streamline our Payroll, Attendance management and Application tracking for hiring. It Integrates well will other complementing applications like Teams & Zoho Books. Implementation of the module has also been simple as well as effective. We use Keka on a daily basis. The App for the employees is also very handy to document logins. Coming to the customer support offered by Keka, they have always been cordial and responsive based on the severity of the concern/escalation. It has only improved for the better over the past 2 yrs of us using it. I'd definitely recommend Keka to all start-ups that are looking to streamline their HR department & payroll. It has helped us streamline our Time and Attendance Management.

Our Payroll has also become efficient after implementing Keka as a HRMS tool.

Being a deep tech company and having a majority of our employees deployed at Defense Client locations, Keka's remote clock-in with geolocation has become an add-on benefit to track our employee attendance at remote/client/field locations.

Keka also serves a a repository of all policies. Thus, has my department(HR) in multiple ways of introducing and implementing new policies as we grow.

Even the free account has a proffessional, polished looking invoice at the end. A client actually complimented me on it! In future, I'd like to get the paid account and customize the invoice to match my brand.

I like that I can create a client account (they even get a portal) so that I can easily select them, get their information autofilled into the invoice, and keep track of their payments.

Recommendations to others considering Stampli:

Make sure that Stampli will work with your accounting system. The software did not work well with the QuickBooks desktop version, which delayed our company's ability to centralize our vendor payments until we were able to convert to NetSuite. Our company has locations throughout the midwest and northeast. We can centralize our vendor payments and process them through our corporate accounting team. What do you dislike about Shopmonkey?

I am a customer of a detailer in Orlando that used Shopmonkey. They decided to move to different software and Shopmonkey gave their text number to a direct competitor in town called Empire Auto Spa. I texted my origional detailer to get a couple of projects scheduled and got a response quickly. Nowhere in the response did Empire communicate who they were. They pretended to be my detailer and never identified themselves anywhere in the thread. I figured it out when I got some calls from Empire, that I did not answer, and then got an email summary of the text communications. The point is if you do business with Shopmonkey just know that when you leave they are going to route your customer inquiries to a direct competitor. If that's not illegal it should be. Implementing EBizCharge with Business Central Dynamics went like piece of cake, no issue and the integration team was quick.
