We have found TeamUp to be convoluted in some areas, such as changing an appointment time. It would be nice to drag and drop instead of multiple clicks to make a small change.

Some of the UI is not as friendly as we have experienced in other platforms.

Coaches do not recieve notifications about rescheduled classes.

It is still possible for the house to book coaches who have blocked themselves as it is not easy to see on the calendar that they are not available.

Being able to structure memberships that are applicable to certain lessons or activities make it a lot easier for us to manage who has paid for what and see how many sessions they have left. With our previous system, we had to do a lot of that accountability manually. There are several key features that Gymflow does not currently have (ie: ability to adjust charges on checkout, door access being allowed for class attendees, membership addons). We needed more customer outreach. Engage Pro helps us communicate and engage with our members, with automated emails and texts. For our particular needs we are having to adjust Omnify to fit a student orchestra organization, so changing the terminlogy has been useful, but it isn't consistent throughout the program. Over-Promised and Under-Delivered:

The sales team promised a lot that the software just couldn’t deliver for our business model. There was a huge disconnect between what was promised and what actually worked, which was really frustrating.

Way Too Complicated:

The interface was a nightmare. There were way too many tabs, buttons, and options that made it hard to do anything simple, like sending an invoice. We were constantly on support calls because we couldn't figure things out on our own.

No User Agreement and Lack of Transparency:

We didn’t ask for a user agreement upfront, and that turned out to be a big mistake. We paid for the service, and then had trouble getting any clarity about the terms, especially when we wanted to cancel or ask for a refund.

The most impactful negative has been the experience of a 70% increase in pricing with no added value or ample notice to find a replacement solution and cancel. The software has many glitches such as not converting leads to members and support offers no resolution and regular app updates, while ideal for security, often produce member issues reducing the positivity of the customer experience. Virtuagym was brought to me by one of their sales representatives who made me believe that the application would specifically meet all my expectations, such as the integration of the virtuagym calendar with my Google calendar.

They don't offer any free trial and you therefore have to risk a much higher price than some competitors like MY PT HUB who offer exactly the same thing for 4 times less. Dissatisfied with the product, they not only refused me a refund ($474) but wanted to force me to pay for a 3-month commitment ($175/month) for a product that I will not be using.
