FloQast has introduced substantial efficiencies to our close process by providing real-time visibility into status updates, enhancing collaboration between our finance and accounting departments. The “watch” feature enables the finance team to monitor the accounting team’s progress, allowing them to initiate their tasks at the appropriate stage. In a remote work environment, this functionality has been particularly beneficial in helping our team stay aligned. Very often connection is very slow.

There are features to be improved such as - formulas, pivots.

I dislike how long it initially takes to get to the needed pages. Having to open multiple tabs makes searching easier and cuts down on the amount of time I spend waiting for the page to load. It would be easier for me if everything I needed to do with one invoice could be done from the same page. I frequently have to refund invoices, and this can't be done from Intacct. I have to go to Intacct to find the information and take it to Braintree (both EFT and CC versions). There's about a week's waiting period for everything to process and sync; then I have to use Intacct to verse on one page and reprocess on another. It isn't very easy to learn at first either. Since there are so many back and forth steps, a lot of manual fixes, one thing at a time, it takes a lot of patience and asking questions. It helps me find copies of invoices for customers and reverse and reprocess invoices. All of these tasks help the customer get invoices paid and make sure the right customer is paying. LifeFlow allows us to provide detailed and up the the minute financials to key players in the organization that don't live in QuickBooks like the finance team does. Leaders are able to get the information they need to make decisions right from a spreadsheet. After a nine month implementation, we ultimately decided to stop the process after spending countless hours on it. Vena’s models are extremely rigid and couldn’t accommodate our needs and requirements. Instead, they asked us to lower our expectations because the product simply couldn’t deliver.

On top of that, they failed to integrate with our ERP, despite claiming that "dozens of users are already using it."

This system is too expansive for our company, it has been difficult to see all that is out there. We used QuickBooks in the past and that was very user friendly. There is always a learning curve with software changes but this one is especially large. SuiteAnswers is helpful about half of the time and then I need to create a case for online support.

NetSuite has made many things faster and easier for our company. Our inventory manager does item fulfilling with our scanner and this allows him to be paperless with recording serial numbers. When these sales orders come back to the office, they are already fulfilled so it is just one click to bill out/invoice. There are functions that I have been using to assist me with keeping current with inventory, such as the "item alerts" with the Item360 Dashboard portlet. There is definitely a learning curve with regards to creating formulas and linking the elements of a financial model. The syntax of the formulas is different from Excel/GSheet, but the support site has lots of examples so one can get pretty far on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a not a drag-and-drop tool for do it yourself dashboarding. But it is also not intended to be this. The target of Apliqo is rolling out applications to a group of end users that can get going without the need for extensive trainings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We mainly use Apliqo (both UX and FPM) for internal reporting. We use it for our day-to-day timesheets, our (financial) month end close, dashboarding and reporting.

The operational model is tracking our projects on a day-to-day basis, provinding an overview of budgets-to-date, time spent (hours/days), expenses tracking. Our users are entering information on a daily basis.

For the financial closing we are currently utilising the P&L/Balance sheet reporting layer across our region, based on input from various countries, coming from different data sources (accounting systems).

Anaplan's pricing can be confusing and opaque. This is due to an evolving platform, technology, and GTM model. Customers from just 3 years ago may have completely different expectations on pricing and that can cause friction. However, the GTM model had to change - the platform, which did not drastically change from 2014-2022, has received an incredible overhaul in terms of technical functionality, and old pricing models did no capture that at all. I will specifically answer this question regarding the territory and quota (T&Q) use case. T&Q represents a widespread, needed-everywhere planning problem but it doesn't have any of its own big software players. The reason is that Anaplan is so well-suited to the use case, that you'd waste your time trying to create a bespoke competitor. And Anaplan's offering is only strengthening.

T&Q has the hallmarks needs of planning: nuanced, many disparate data sets, very large data sets, operational and financial considerations, many distributed stakeholders, and consistent collaboration. Anaplan checks each of those boxes an we see it at our customers. Our customers tell us they love a prescriptive approach that they still can own (the new T&Q app comes out of the box), where they can merge what they love about their current process with the best-in-class they need. These streamlined T&Q apps help our customers create fairer territories with better account scoring, build better quotas to set the right incentives and reach the right attainment curve, and do it all significantly faster. It takes some time to learn the syntax of the designing codes to retrieve data, but the Velixo team provides great documentation and support along with helpful instructions within the formula themselves. Velixo allows me to quickly upload new budgets and forecasts along with retrieving actuals, which means I spend little to no time on retrieving financial data and variances and can spend more time analyzing and digging in. It also allows us to writeback to the GL whenever we have changes or adjustments and is extremely quick to drop in new journal entries this way during the close process and review. Overall, we do have significant complaints about Acumatica. I would say we would like to see more low-code/no-code workflow capabilities across the platform. We are leveraging Acumatica to be our primary accounting system as well as a basis for our operational client billing and management sytem in the Home Care industry. We are using the Field Service components along side of the project accounting aspects plus we are significantly extending the product with the Acumatica development platform. Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. Consolidating and reporting multiple legal entities with numerous currencies was a headache, and expensive, in Netsuite. Campfire makes it easy and fun! Additionally, Campfire has a dashboard with KPIs that are relevant to my business that I can actually trust. This makes internal and external reporting much easier and less stressful. Bank feeds are through Yodlee for Australian users - this can take up to a week to fetch new transactions, or, have to be manually refreshed with accounts protected by 2FA. This is an issue I have raised with our bank and Zoho, but seems to be taking longer than expected to resolve. This issue isn't the wort to have, just inconvenient at times. Zoho Books helped us move away from Xero, which as helped us integrate with a solid suite of apps to help us deliver products directly to our customers.
