I would like to be able to modify my dashboard more. It is prett standard / out of the box. But there are other close metrics and KPI's that I would like to see on the dashboard. Like historically which reconciliations are always late.. or if there is a specific team member that is always late and another that is always early... if i could see that data easily, i could rearrange the workload for my team. Floqast helps us manage the month end close process. We can see what tasks are completed and what are outstanding. We have daily check in calls (we are a remote team), and it helps our conversations be quick and effecient and helps us talk through roadblocks/obstacles if there are any. Floqast has also drastically helped with reconciliations. We can track them, have a repository for them, see which are completed and which aren't... it shows variances to our ERP. Very often connection is very slow.

There are features to be improved such as - formulas, pivots.

There is no current way to share document with big group of people without giving access to each one to Workiva - for example group of 10000 people within one organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we can pull any data we want and any format we want, but it takes advanced knowledge of the solution to build custom reports and we have to do some of our reconciliation offline since its not really feasible easily on the platform (ex: deferred revenue reconciliation)

It takes care of every accounting aspect and we connect all the data points to netsuite, making most things centralized and managed within netsuite, we have to do some work arounds sometimes to be able to do some of the things we're trying to do, but overall its not that bad Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is definitely a learning curve with regards to creating formulas and linking the elements of a financial model. The syntax of the formulas is different from Excel/GSheet, but the support site has lots of examples so one can get pretty far on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We mainly use Apliqo (both UX and FPM) for internal reporting. We use it for our day-to-day timesheets, our (financial) month end close, dashboarding and reporting.

The operational model is tracking our projects on a day-to-day basis, provinding an overview of budgets-to-date, time spent (hours/days), expenses tracking. Our users are entering information on a daily basis.

For the financial closing we are currently utilising the P&L/Balance sheet reporting layer across our region, based on input from various countries, coming from different data sources (accounting systems).

Anaplan is used to replace Excel-based model for real estate budgeting starting from the asset acquisition, development, and operation. Users can perform scenario analysis easily and hence are able to make informed decisions whether to hold or dispose an asset. Anaplan is able to handle multi-year budgeting easily. It is not always able to clear data that is supposed to be hidden or archived. For example, our customer list was flooded with individual email adresses in the early days of the companies. Those could be hidden in Quickbooks, but G-accon does not separate them out when building customer lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quickbooks is notoriously hard to use for an accountant who simply wants raw data tables, since almost everything in that program is formatted and not really adapted to data analysis. Having visibility into all orders and all the details is really easy to do in Xoro. Other ERP's struggle with this. And it's all configurable so you can see only what you want to see. On top of that, the advance search capabilities lets you filters out the orders using almost any criteria. This makes processing/fulfilling orders really simple as you can do them in batches. It takes some time to learn the syntax of the designing codes to retrieve data, but the Velixo team provides great documentation and support along with helpful instructions within the formula themselves. Velixo allows me to quickly upload new budgets and forecasts along with retrieving actuals, which means I spend little to no time on retrieving financial data and variances and can spend more time analyzing and digging in. It also allows us to writeback to the GL whenever we have changes or adjustments and is extremely quick to drop in new journal entries this way during the close process and review. I originally purchased a perpetual license many years ago. Unfortunately, those are no longer offered. My annual maintenance price has not changed each year which was a pleasant surprise. This year I was forced to upgrade to the latest version or I would get penalized 25% each month. It was in the middle of our busy season and nobody wanted to go through a major upgrade that could cause issues. I can understand support not wanting to help if we are on an old version but to force us to upgrade or fine us harshly is just down right abuse from a vendor. If that practice doesn't stop then I can see people leaving.

Don't try hosting this software on a virtual server. It will not perform well. Make sure you get a dedicated server. Also don't use the MySQL database. The only one that works is the MSSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. Consolidating and reporting multiple legal entities with numerous currencies was a headache, and expensive, in Netsuite. Campfire makes it easy and fun! Additionally, Campfire has a dashboard with KPIs that are relevant to my business that I can actually trust. This makes internal and external reporting much easier and less stressful.
