In 2023, we implemented FloQast to streamline our month-end close process. The checklist feature has been invaluable for ensuring organization and task completion, eliminating the manual oversight needed with our previous Excel-based approach. FloQast’s task assignment and automated reminders have lightened management’s workload, while its balance sheet reconciliation tool, which syncs with our ERP’s trial balance, has reduced errors and prevented potential audit issues by notifying preparers and reviewers of discrepancies.
Approximately a year after adopting FloQast for closing, we transitioned our SOX compliance system from AuditBoard to FloQast Compliance. Initially hesitant, we worked closely with the FloQast team, who refined the compliance tool based on our and our auditors’ feedback. After these enhancements, we received approval from our auditors to proceed with FloQast Compliance. Though still in the early stages of our first audit cycle, we’re pleased with its performance. While there’s a learning curve after 10 years with AuditBoard, FloQast Compliance has proven functional and reliable, with a responsive team that addresses enhancement requests effectively. I have been using Sage Intacct for over 2 years and it is by far my favorite accounting software I have ever used. It is extremely user friendly and does not allow for mistakes. There are so many wonderful features, not to mention keeping your tax information together for year end 1099's. The ease of integrating and learning how to use Sage Intacct was wonderful. If I ever had issues, customer support was always extremely helpful with any problems. I use Sage Intacct almost daily and appreciate the helpful updates that come frequently. The team has been great, they are extremely knowledgable about their product. The product itself is very advanced, I've looked around on the market for something that is able to integrate with Xero and only have found Liveflow. Currently, I am still integrating Liveflow into our systems but the team are instant with responses and immediately reply. They are always asking in ways we can improve/request for new features to add to the system. Lastly, I think for the price, what they offer is worth the $$$. I have used a number of ERP and inventory management systems in the past with varying degrees of customization options and user friendliness. Usually the more customized, the easier or complicated it can be depending on the person doing the customizing. Netsuite has seemingly endless options to customize everything from aesthetics to functionality and as long as you're willing to do most of the learning on your own, pay for extended training or pay even more for a partner or consultant to help, it's a great program. we implemented G-accon in our finance team this year. We use Xero as our accounting system, but have multiple ledgers and the standard reporting didn't meet our needs.
We had built reports in excel that required a TB export each month and was fairly manual. This process was cumbersome and could take hours if not days to finalise reports, particularly as some of our key month end data comes in towards the end of the cut off date for reporting.
With G-accon + Xero + Google sheets, our reports can be re-run if needed and will be updated within seconds. This gives our lean finance team, precious hours bck in the day to focus on supporting the management team.

I love that I can create my own real-time reports in Velixo, customizing to what I need vs. only using standard reports. Plus, the formula languages are easy to follow compared with SQL as an example especially when that is not your area of profession. We use Rillet to streamline and automate our revenue recognition workflows. We used to manually create journal entries to record our software subscription revenues. Rillet has a workflow to help with contract and invoice matching, as it syncs data from both Salesforce and Stripe. They also reconcile Stripe payouts automatically, which has been a time saver. Rillet also integrates with Rippling and Ramp, which automates journal entries for payroll and A/P. The Rillet team has been amazing and very communicative.
