What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I've been using Sprout social for social media at my job for almost two years. In those two years, I've found the ease of use to be the thing about Sprout that makes logging in to be something I get excited about. Creating social posts to schedule out is quick and with as much as we use Sprout for social posts, it's also been interesting to explore the social listening tool for brand reputation and management. Sprout is great at helping the credit union I work for listen in for where we're mentioned on the web. I think this is a major benefit that has helped us as social media managers, as we've been preparing to merge with another credit union that is much larger than us. What do you like best about Simplified?

Simplified is robust. They have continued to add AI tools. They also make it easy to post to multiple accounts and have a healthy list of platforms a person can post to. I feel like they were one of the first social platforms to incorporate AI image generation and continue to attempt to innovate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simplified?

They have constantly changed their UX, names of what things within the system are called, where things are kept, and how things work. I will log in one week, create directions for my team in how to use the platform and the following week everything is different. And, when they change something, inevitably something is broken. It feels like someone in the company loves tweaking the main design constantly- but it keeps breaking small stuff in the system. And, many of the UX updates don't improve the system, they just make things more confusing and difficult to find/use.

For example, they have things called workspaces and team spaces. But, we were paying for "seats" and "social accounts". I kept asking them to explain what a "seat" is vs. a "teamspace", and they couldn't really answer and made it seem like I was dumb for asking. I tried to explain that they constantly were changing what things were called and how things were billed- but they made it seem like I was the idiot.

In the end, I really feel like they changed the terms of our yearly agreement. I wanted a large number of accounts available with a certain number of social accounts available for each account (teamspace). That was our agreement. But, then they changed things and moved to this "seat" concept and somehow I suddenly had way less access that I signed up for.

Is this a robust system- yes. But, watch out- they may continue to change your terms, change what things are called, and constantly tweak the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

My organization has been a Hootsuite user for more than 13 years. We've found that it continues to be a great program to scale when you have a significant group handling social media for their respective areas within the organization (and are often wearing a number of hats). Hootsuite is user-friendly and makes it easy to empower others to manage their social accounts responsibly by planning ahead, understanding analytics and maintaining consistency. This year's Talkwalker acquisition shows Hootsuite's drive to innovate, do more and provide the best services that can to their customers. Our primary contacts with Hootsuite over the years have been a huge asset to help us through any issues we've encountered and the support team is fast and thorough. They're a joy to work with! The primary frustrations we have with Hootsuite have more to do with Tiktok/Meta/Twitter/LinkedIn APIs than Hootsuite. We know they're at the mercy of those companies but they do a good job of communicating with us about what is going on when there are issues and are always working on a path forward to getting us the access we request. What do you like best about Birdeye?

Birdeye has been great for managing our online presence in one system. We use it daily for listings management, reviews, webchat and texting. We made the switch after using multiple systems to do the same thing. It's nice to have one login experience rather than two. It's also great to have a live person as your contact rather than waiting for an email response like the competitors force you to do. Service has been amazing from our sales rep to the implementation/integration process. We've been using the system since early 2024, and it only gets better and better. The live tech support is super helpful and easy to access. We're almost a year into working with Birdeye, and it continues to be a great experience for our company. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

We had quite a few bumps in the road with implementation early on. Our success/implementation coach and her manager were with us every step of the way. We didn't expect to have so many issues. Good news is they always get them fixed and are on it!

The Ai tool is fairly new with the webchat. It was piecing together information that wasn't accurate from our website because it took a piece of information from one page and combined it with another and didn't understand completely. As a result, we had to have them turn off the Ai answering function because it was letting customers know things that weren't correct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?

Birdeye allows us to use one system to do so much rather than paying for and managing multiple systems. We use this system for seven different businesses we own, and we've seen reviews increase for five of the businesses we've connected to automatic review requests. The system also allows us to do simple things like updating hours and other business information in one place. We can also chat with our customers who have questions in real time. What do you like best about Loomly?

I like how functional the calendar view is. It makes it easy to draft out concepts and change up the order by drag and drop before going into each post and writing out/uploading content. I also appreciate the ability to create custom tags for each post, so I know exactly what type of content I am posting each week at a quick glance without having to open up everything. The collaboration tools are also helpful - sending posts for approval and making comments. The ability to schedle posts in advance 30+ days is awesome.

I wish there was a way to schedule multiple story slides at one time. This forces me to create/upload my content in Loomly, send for approval, and "schedule" but still having to go into Meta Business Suite and post my stories from there (which usually puts them out of order). I think reputation has area's for improvement by allowing us to be able to manage all platforms that allow reviews. My properties often get reviews on Yelp and I am unable to respond to those as they are not part of my platform. Additionally responding to review on Apts.com or Apartment List. At first they said they had sorted it out; next time it happened, it turned out they hadn't made the necessary changes. Then, as it continued, they stopped answering emails. It's terribly easy to post, which allows you to focus on what matters: getting your content in front of the people who need to see it.

The best part is it's easy to customize for each platform so you can come off as unique on each, instead of just blasting content.

The licensing model follows that of other vendors where you're paying per platform. Analytics are also an upcharge.

I found the UI intuitive and easy to navigate right from the entry screen. One feature I appreciated was the ability to create separate workspaces for different projects, which helped keep everything organized and prevented data mixups. Since I manage multiple brands, this helped me a lot with the segregation. I’ve tried Agorapulse and Sendible but didn’t find this level of sophistication for clients. I hadn't heard of Statusbrew before, so I was a bit confused about them and Agorapulse. Not to say Agorapulse is bad, but Statusbrew offered a more refined experience in everything Agora does. What do you like best about Brand24?

The software is easy to use, they have decent guides and help docs, and the support is stellar. A very good app for tracking mentions. Lots of filters to hone in on the results that matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brand24?

I wish there were a "pause account" option. We only use it when a client requires this specific service which is somewhat infrequent, so I wind up cancelling and reopening once or twice per year. What problems is Brand24 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping an eye on the chatter around a brand, product, person or incident. Specifically, whether that chatter is brand-impacting (meaningful) or just random noise. Picks up multiple sources so the coverage tends to be quite good - sometimes overwhelmingly abundant but filters and the "block source" option take care if that. What do you like best about Brand Analytics?

Brand Analytics is an excellent tool for social media listening. It helps to fulfill tasks of various teams and departments. The interface is user-friendly and well organized. Cool modern-looking diagrams are worth mentioning as well. The system has a variety of functions for the search and selection of messages you need, useful filters, and tools for segmentation of authors and commentators in social media according to socio-demographics and location.

A WOM (Word of mouth) filter is a helpful tool worth mentioning. It helps to differentiate posts of real users containing useful information.

In addition to this, Brand Analytics has beautiful auto-renewable dashboards, valuable for the top management, and are very easy to set up. You also can export any data or diagram you need in any format. Triggered alerts and scheduled e-mail reports come in handy as well.

Client Support is always ready to answer any questions, help with system settings and provide training for the client's team. So great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brand Analytics?
