The reporting/analytics helps us tell the story in terms of what content our audience is interested in most which is key for any brand that has a social media presence. The social media module is a great idea, but it's not developed enough, so it can't yet replace a real social media scheduler tool. The concept of "marketing contacts" also makes it much harder to manage than before. It should at least come with pre-made workflows that are easy to customize for who should be a marketing contact or not. The email templates also have limited features. I find SOCi to be a bit rigid in its functionality. It doesn’t offer the flexibility I need to manage social media effectively. They have constantly changed their UX, names of what things within the system are called, where things are kept, and how things work. I will log in one week, create directions for my team in how to use the platform and the following week everything is different. And, when they change something, inevitably something is broken. It feels like someone in the company loves tweaking the main design constantly- but it keeps breaking small stuff in the system. And, many of the UX updates don't improve the system, they just make things more confusing and difficult to find/use.

For example, they have things called workspaces and team spaces. But, we were paying for "seats" and "social accounts". I kept asking them to explain what a "seat" is vs. a "teamspace", and they couldn't really answer and made it seem like I was dumb for asking. I tried to explain that they constantly were changing what things were called and how things were billed- but they made it seem like I was the idiot.

In the end, I really feel like they changed the terms of our yearly agreement. I wanted a large number of accounts available with a certain number of social accounts available for each account (teamspace). That was our agreement. But, then they changed things and moved to this "seat" concept and somehow I suddenly had way less access that I signed up for.

Is this a robust system- yes. But, watch out- they may continue to change your terms, change what things are called, and constantly tweak the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite has simplified the management of all our social channels. We can now easily monitor, track, and schedule content with just a few clicks. I work for multiple brands and have to manage multiple social media channels and campaigns simultaneously. This makes it simple for me to see exactly what's happening where and make any adjustments simply and with minimal effort on my part. And the fact that it includes channels like LinkedIn and Google My Business at this price point is just fantastic! We’ve requested a few functionalities to be added to their roadmap for updates in 2025. The downside is that we’d like those now, but knowing they’re working on including them gives us hope. I think reputation has area's for improvement by allowing us to be able to manage all platforms that allow reviews. My properties often get reviews on Yelp and I am unable to respond to those as they are not part of my platform. Additionally responding to review on Apts.com or Apartment List. Rep.com allows me to access a multitude of online reputation management is a succint place. I like that I can quickly respond to online reviews then toggle over to my social media pages for additional posting AND review my online reputation score to see where I have opportunities to boost that even more. If I had to nitpick, I’d say that it sometimes misses a few niche mentions when I use very specific keywords. For example, during one of my recent campaigns, I had to fine-tune my searches to get the results I needed. It’s not a major issue, and honestly, most tools in this space have similar challenges.

Determ has made a huge difference in how I monitor brand sentiment, competitors, and audience engagement. Before using it, I spent hours manually searching for trends and mentions, and I still worried I was missing something. Now, Determ does all of that for me in real time.

In many ways, Sociality.io provides solutions that benefits us. We are happily using all the

modules of Sociality.io Publish, Engage, Listen, Analyze, and Competitor Analysis. To

specifically mention one, I can highlight the Competitor Analysis module. It is a life-saver. I

can not imagine gathering all the data together into one report for hundreds of accounts

The only thing I dislike is not having the amount of content necessary to really capitalize on this tool. When upgrading to a plan with more accounts, it wasn't clearly stated that you would pay a prorated amount for the upgrade. i.e. the 5 account plan to the 10 account plan. SocialBee is helping me have a presence on social media! I've been attemping* to post from my phone but life doesn't allow that to happen and to stay present. With SB, I can schedule out posts after I've created the content. I can have evergreen items re-que and keep rolling while I'm working on other things, inluding sleep. So far my only suggestion would be that I wish there was a bit more resources for those new to the industry and overall multi-platform management tools like these; though management gets the full rundown during the onboarding process, it would be great to have some kind of infolet collection of resources to be able to pass along to new hires just as a kind of introductory material for them to have as a resource for what can be a complicated set up process for those unfamiliar with complex social media management tools. Has saved us a notable amount on the costs of using other similiar platforms that provide services typically at an add-on rate alongside the base subscription pricing; with that money then returned to our budget, we're able to reinvest it into further advertising and overall growing our presence and recognizability across our social media platforms. I wish there were a "pause account" option. We only use it when a client requires this specific service which is somewhat infrequent, so I wind up cancelling and reopening once or twice per year. Keeping an eye on the chatter around a brand, product, person or incident. Specifically, whether that chatter is brand-impacting (meaningful) or just random noise. Picks up multiple sources so the coverage tends to be quite good - sometimes overwhelmingly abundant but filters and the "block source" option take care if that.
