The granularity of Smart Inbox is very helpful for community managers who oversee multiple accounts across multiple brands/products as you can break messages down by message type, platform, source and tags. Customer support always responds in a timely manner and provides thorough step by step instructions/details to deliver seamless resolution. Hubspot is very user friendly, especially compared to other tools like Salesforce/Pardot. I love that's in an all-in-one tool and that your data is right there. It makes it easy to segment when taking marketing actions. It's also pretty easy to implement, and if anything, there are many ways to contact the customer support team. What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The social media module is a great idea, but it's not developed enough, so it can't yet replace a real social media scheduler tool. The concept of "marketing contacts" also makes it much harder to manage than before. It should at least come with pre-made workflows that are easy to customize for who should be a marketing contact or not. The email templates also have limited features. What do you like best about Simplified?

Simplified is robust. They have continued to add AI tools. They also make it easy to post to multiple accounts and have a healthy list of platforms a person can post to. I feel like they were one of the first social platforms to incorporate AI image generation and continue to attempt to innovate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simplified?

They have constantly changed their UX, names of what things within the system are called, where things are kept, and how things work. I will log in one week, create directions for my team in how to use the platform and the following week everything is different. And, when they change something, inevitably something is broken. It feels like someone in the company loves tweaking the main design constantly- but it keeps breaking small stuff in the system. And, many of the UX updates don't improve the system, they just make things more confusing and difficult to find/use.

For example, they have things called workspaces and team spaces. But, we were paying for "seats" and "social accounts". I kept asking them to explain what a "seat" is vs. a "teamspace", and they couldn't really answer and made it seem like I was dumb for asking. I tried to explain that they constantly were changing what things were called and how things were billed- but they made it seem like I was the idiot.

In the end, I really feel like they changed the terms of our yearly agreement. I wanted a large number of accounts available with a certain number of social accounts available for each account (teamspace). That was our agreement. But, then they changed things and moved to this "seat" concept and somehow I suddenly had way less access that I signed up for.

Is this a robust system- yes. But, watch out- they may continue to change your terms, change what things are called, and constantly tweak the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Birdeye?

We love Birdseye! We've been using it for almost over a year now, however, I used it at an old company, so I'm technically a returning customer! The quickness of seeing a review posted (immediatly versus Google takes 24+ hrs to send the notification), the package options (we have the one with the web chat feauture), the ease of asking for and collecting reviews through text links, the surveys, making sure all of our info is the same across all platforms AND fast and great customer service support. Getting set up was a breeze too and the staff to assist in that made it all the better. We use it DAILY and could not imagine reviews without it. Also, I like the fact that you can select countries and timezone easily depending on the brand's target audience per profiles, as a social media manager from the philippines with handling lots of clients from different countries this is so important to me cause I handle different timezones in every brand and I can just directly schedule contents depending on my client's country calendar and timzeone. I also like the part where it has sepereted overview for reviews which is a very big help to monitor this, you can easily check all the reviews and respond easily. I also like the fact that I can run reports and schedule a reports depending on what I want, wether its a social media performance, reviews or task report I love it not all tools offer this amazing kind of features. The team at Synup, from sales to support, have been great, assisting with our implementation, responsive to our requests, and readily available to help. We have been using the platform for about four months, and while there are things we’d like to see integrated into the platform, we can accomplish the tasks we require to service our clients, and Synup provides a good platform for these services. I was initially skeptical about trying another social media tool—so many overpromise and underdeliver—but Determ quickly became a game-changer for me. The ease of use is what hooked me. I’m not a fan of complicated setups, and Determ made it so simple that I was up and running within a day. Everything is clearly laid out, and even someone new to social media analytics would find it easy to navigate.

The ease of implementation was another standout for me. I didn’t need IT support or hours of tutorials. Within just a couple of clicks, I had it integrated with our existing tools, and it fit seamlessly into our workflow.

What I love most is the number of features it offers. From tracking mentions and analyzing sentiment to keeping tabs on competitors, it’s like having a Swiss Army knife for social media listening. And the cherry on top? Their customer support team. They’re not just responsive—they’re genuinely helpful and make you feel like a priority, even for smaller issues. What do you dislike about Determ?

If I had to nitpick, I’d say that it sometimes misses a few niche mentions when I use very specific keywords. For example, during one of my recent campaigns, I had to fine-tune my searches to get the results I needed. It’s not a major issue, and honestly, most tools in this space have similar challenges.

What problems is Determ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Determ has made a huge difference in how I monitor brand sentiment, competitors, and audience engagement. Before using it, I spent hours manually searching for trends and mentions, and I still worried I was missing something. Now, Determ does all of that for me in real time.

One specific example: During a product launch earlier this year, Determ alerted me to a surge of mentions about a feature we hadn’t emphasized enough in our campaign. Thanks to those insights, we were able to adjust our messaging on the same day, leading to better engagement and more positive feedback from customers.

In terms of frequency of use, I use Determ multiple times a day—it’s an essential part of my daily workflow. Whether I’m checking on campaign performance, tracking competitor activity, or just staying updated on social trends, it’s always open on my screen. What do you like best about SocialPilot?

As a marketing manager, I like SocialPilot as it allows me to quickly keep track of what my social media team's activities. I love that we can post Google Business Profiles and having all my analytics with well designed, clean reports all available in one place is very useful.

I also like that I can automatically add watermarks to posts, saving time and adding consistency to my brand imagery. The content library is also a tool that we like using to share content within the team for ideas etc and the ability to automatically add "first comments" to posts is also very helpful.

I've also recently discovered the collaboration tools, which allow team members to colloborate and comment on draft posts, which I think is simple great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SocialPilot?

What do you like best about Statusbrew?

This suite of services has been an excellent and comprehensive all-in-one bundle that is both incredibly cost effective and has an impressively diverse set of resources that intentionally specialize in serving the needs of smaller to mid-sized groups and agencies. Hands down the most impressive feature for myself personally has been the significantly lower price for this streamlined bundle, especially when you take into consideration the speed and efficiently of which it can tackle multiple roles like engagement, analytics, publishing. and listening across however many workspaces you happen to be managing ---without being charged an arm and a leg to include these features as add-on services for an already inflated cost from similar providers (which can quickly run into the 6 figures range depending on the complexities of your needs). Great onboarding experience with knowledgeable and helpful customer care professionals and includes a trial period for new clients to see if it's the right fit for your business. What do you dislike about Statusbrew?

So far my only suggestion would be that I wish there was a bit more resources for those new to the industry and overall multi-platform management tools like these; though management gets the full rundown during the onboarding process, it would be great to have some kind of infolet collection of resources to be able to pass along to new hires just as a kind of introductory material for them to have as a resource for what can be a complicated set up process for those unfamiliar with complex social media management tools. What problems is Statusbrew solving and how is that benefiting you?

Has saved us a notable amount on the costs of using other similiar platforms that provide services typically at an add-on rate alongside the base subscription pricing; with that money then returned to our budget, we're able to reinvest it into further advertising and overall growing our presence and recognizability across our social media platforms. What do you like best about Brand24?

What do you dislike about Brand24?

I wish there were a "pause account" option. We only use it when a client requires this specific service which is somewhat infrequent, so I wind up cancelling and reopening once or twice per year. Keeping an eye on the chatter around a brand, product, person or incident. Specifically, whether that chatter is brand-impacting (meaningful) or just random noise. Picks up multiple sources so the coverage tends to be quite good - sometimes overwhelmingly abundant but filters and the "block source" option take care if that. What do you like best about Brand Analytics?

Brand Analytics is an excellent tool for social media listening. It helps to fulfill tasks of various teams and departments. The interface is user-friendly and well organized. Cool modern-looking diagrams are worth mentioning as well. The system has a variety of functions for the search and selection of messages you need, useful filters, and tools for segmentation of authors and commentators in social media according to socio-demographics and location.

A WOM (Word of mouth) filter is a helpful tool worth mentioning. It helps to differentiate posts of real users containing useful information.

In addition to this, Brand Analytics has beautiful auto-renewable dashboards, valuable for the top management, and are very easy to set up. You also can export any data or diagram you need in any format. Triggered alerts and scheduled e-mail reports come in handy as well.
