I received the usual reminders about the upcoming conference and did not pay much attention - then I got the invitation to download the Whova app - and I was taken engaged right away! Once I created my profile, I was able to navigate around and find places to upload suggestions for local restaurants and hangouts for conference attendees from out of town. I was able to look through suggestions on engaging, list my contact information, review the people that would be attending the conference, and group myself according to what would bring value to my experience.
I have to say, being first on the leaderboard was a rush! I knew once more people engaged it wouldn't last, but I enjoyed the competition! It was fun to see who the real competitive people were - lol! It was really useful to know in advance who was attending so I could make sure to catch them in person. Being able to send a quick "hello" through the app made it possible to do so because they were looking for me as well.
Being able to create my own personal agenda and NOT have to keep up with a hard copy - that was wonderful! The shuffling of books, papers, and materials has always distracted me but this way all I had to keep up with was my phone. That was worth it by itself!
It was nice to be able to exchange contact information through the app because I did not get to speak to everyone and it gave me a chance to reach out to them anyway. Plus, when I got back to my office I didn't have to figure out which card went with which person because the app showed me their face. I am terrible with remembering faces with names and this was better than a cheat sheet!
Being able to set meet-ups and giving people the anonymity to decide if they were interested helped similar interests find each other.
The lost and found, the photos, logistics!!! Oh my! There was nothing bad about it. The convenience, the organization, the networking, the ability to disperse prizes - the ease of use and understanding - probably made it one of the best conferences I have attended (and I have attended 100's). I got so much more from the experience because I did not have to concern myself with the nuts and bolts of the conference. I set my own agenda, created my own relevant connections, and kept up with contacts afterward. I have already suggested it to several colleagues and will definitely be using it if I ever organize a conference myself!

I work for an association management firm and we have been looking to update our registration and badge process. We had outgrown the days of hand printing, stuffing badges, list pulling, and all of the time-consuming tedious items that go along with badges the old-school way.
We decided to try Expo Pass for the first time during our working meeting of 160 attendees to see if it was a good fit for our Summer meeting where we expect 700+ attendees. The customer service is next to none, with responses always resolving any questions or issues very quickly. I like the format of credits, and generally although a little confusing at first due to the different model, it is actually much simpler and more transparent than other services such as eventbrite or dice.
Integrations with mailchimp are fantastic for building your mailing list from ticket sales, and the donations option is extremely effective for making shows or tours more economical.

When we set out to choose a platform for our conference, we shortlisted three vendors. Nunify was the least-known of the three, but after the initial consultation with each, we knew Nunify was the right choice for us. Not only did they offer a solid product that met our key requirements, but they demonstrated that they cared about us and the success of our event and their pricing strategy was straightforward and easy to present to the team.
Our decision was the right one. As a volunteer-run organization, things tended to get done when there was time. That led to a lot of scope creep, last-minute changes, and long delays. Throughout all that, Nunify's support was phenomenal. They patiently pointed out modules we could take advantage of, tweaked functions to meet our needs, and even implemented an expanded registration feature that was invaluable. I evaluated, selected, and implemented Goldcast for Intercom's global webinar program and it exceeded my expecastions. We use it for all of our webinars, virtual events, and some of our in-person activations. I focus primarily on demand generation webinars, but we run them across our entire customer journey through different internal teams and across a number of regions in different languages.
I use the platform every day and we dozens of webinars per quarter, usually more.
The biggest but often overlooked value-add is the actual webinar and virtual event experience for ateendees. It has all the table stakes features and they're delivered in a thoughtful way that drives real value. We can develop well-branded events and there is solid language localization as well.
The integration of real AI capabiltiies has been a game changer for us, and I'm impressed by their ability to ship quality improvements quickly.
The platform also has all the behind the scenes functionality we need, including event/webinar management, integrations, etc.

What amazed me right away was the service I recieve. The true 24/7 support is key for someone who has a tendancy to inadvertantly miss a toggle. I feel like the support is endless, where with other products I have had a certain allotted amount of suport time. Coupled with the excellent help articles I feel like I can fix any issues.
We have been able to use the tool for different types of events becuase of the flexability that this tool offers.
I appreciate that we can have lots of users. We are able to have multiple departments using this tool and also allow for others to have access so that as the event planner I dont have to be the only one who has to do everything.
