Xero is very helpful for financial analysis, reporting and monitoring overall financial health, as a senior financial analyst, I regularly review revenue trends , expense patterns, cash flow and monthly financial statements it provides clean and structured reports like profit and loss , balance sheets and cash flow which are easy to understand and reliable. i also like how quickly data is updates, real time visibility helps during management reviews and forecasting discussions, exporting reports to excel or Google sheets is simple which allows deeper analysis and scenario planning. I use it daily in my workflow. and also its support is good, most issues are resolved through articles and email support. and it integrates well with analysis tools. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I like how easy it is to maneuver through the application. The product is intuitive and simple for managers and leaders to drill into the application to find their own answers. The application has allowed us to be almost entirely paperless and simplifies closing the books on a monthly basis. In addition by granting our auditors read only access to the application our audit has become more efficient and less burdensome for staff as auditors can drill and pull supporting documents themselves cutting down on requests for additional supporting documents. What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Custom report writing is a bit cumbersome and takes some learning especially when it comes to understanding reporting groups. When adding new accounts the user needs to be aware that the new account may not be properly mapped to one of the groups and could therefore put reports out of balance. What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows front line staff to enter purchasing requests that are approved by management cutting down on mistakes and automating the workflow for purchasing. Sage also allows for importing of transactions and transaction activity from the CMS and POS systems which allows for daily and monthly revenue balancing with our core systems thereby cutting down on data entry labor and data entry errors. The internal communication system allows for audit trails and notes to be attached to transactions creating a single source for information related to the financial statements. Previously we'd often have to buy things for the office on our own dime then try to get reimbursed. You can imagine how much of a nightmare this is, especially in companies (from a previous role) where they would send you a check to the employee for reimbursement, that would take weeks to come. Teampay allows me and my team to create specific budget for either a one-time purchase (such as lunch for the office) or for specific purposes (uber rides for company-sanctioned events). This led to maintaining parallel Excel trackers outside the system, increasing manual effort and the risk of version-control issues, which partially offsets the efficiency benefits FloQast aims to provide. Switching to Campfire from Netsuite has been an absolute game-changer. As a CFO running a multi-currency, multi-legal entity operation, I’ve dealt with clunky, frustrating accounting software before. Campfire? A totally different story.

This platform is a dream—it’s intuitive, fast, and actually fun to use. I used to dread logging into my old system, but now? I look forward to it. Campfire helps us get more done with fewer headaches, and that’s everything in today’s “do-more-with-less” world.

Even better, Campfire is a new player in the space, and they’re already shaking things up. What do you like best about ClearBooks?

I find the chart of accounts in ClearBooks very simple to use, making the expensing and invoicing processes straightforward. The software includes an audit trail that enhances my accounting tasks. I appreciate the convenience of an online backup, freeing me from worries about data loss. The accounts receivable and reconciliation features are particularly useful. What do you dislike about ClearBooks?

I maybe have some reservations about how the reports are currently being presented. It would be beneficial if there were improvements in the presentation of reports, particularly with the inclusion of tutorials or features that cater to specific needs such as manufacturing accounts. What do you like best about Stampli?

Stampli completely changed how our company sends out invoices for approval before payment. Before Stampli, I was being sent invoices for approval over email. This lead to some invoices slipping through the cracks and being lost until down the road, the accounting team would follow up and ask for approval again. What do you dislike about Stampli?

Stampli is doing a great job consolidating invoices into one clearly visible area for approval by the people who need to review and approve the invoices. No longer are pending invoices slipping through the cracks and possibly getting additional fees because of late payments.
