What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Sage Intacct's accounting software helps in end to end accounting process. I work in the accounts payable and it's features of creation of new vendor, extracting reports, processing bills - whether a single currency bill or multi-currency bill is easy to understand and once understood easy of use as well.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The different dimensions (Classes, Departments, vendors, Customer etc.) are split in different applications. If it can be merged into one single application - "Company", it would be more easy to use.

What do you like best about Emburse Expense Professional (formerly Certify Expense)?

It is so hard to use, I Cabot think of anything.

Sync of credit card and receipt data from phone, email and credit card feed I thought was working.... But then they dropped the credit card feed feature and failed to notify me while they kept charging me fees. I had to find out by contacting the help desk!

They claim to process invoices but there is no way to differentiate them from receipts! This system is a complete nightmare for my accounting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Expense report approval is automated. *IF* the credit card data is syncing, it makes it easier. If it is not, it gives notice to users that anything is wrong -and simply disconnects the credit card feed! The best part about NetSuite is the ease of use for new users across our organization. Being able to add new users and have them up and running within a few days is a huge time save for our business. I have been using square up for over 5 years now. I love it. I'm a freelance makeup artist and I use this system for my services. What I love best about this software is that you can use it as an app to check your appointments or to set your appointments and also checking out your clients. The only thing I would say I don't like is that the software isn't big on creative visualization. There website is a little dull and it's not really sparky in attention. What do you like best about FloQast?

In 2023, we implemented FloQast to streamline our month-end close process. The checklist feature has been invaluable for ensuring organization and task completion, eliminating the manual oversight needed with our previous Excel-based approach. FloQast’s task assignment and automated reminders have lightened management’s workload, while its balance sheet reconciliation tool, which syncs with our ERP’s trial balance, has reduced errors and prevented potential audit issues by notifying preparers and reviewers of discrepancies.

Approximately a year after adopting FloQast for closing, we transitioned our SOX compliance system from AuditBoard to FloQast Compliance. Initially hesitant, we worked closely with the FloQast team, who refined the compliance tool based on our and our auditors’ feedback. After these enhancements, we received approval from our auditors to proceed with FloQast Compliance. Though still in the early stages of our first audit cycle, we’re pleased with its performance. While there’s a learning curve after 10 years with AuditBoard, FloQast Compliance has proven functional and reliable, with a responsive team that addresses enhancement requests effectively. We use Rillet to streamline and automate our revenue recognition workflows. We used to manually create journal entries to record our software subscription revenues. Rillet has a workflow to help with contract and invoice matching, as it syncs data from both Salesforce and Stripe. They also reconcile Stripe payouts automatically, which has been a time saver. Rillet also integrates with Rippling and Ramp, which automates journal entries for payroll and A/P. The Rillet team has been amazing and very communicative. Working with multiple clients, I've worked on several accounting software platforms, including QBO, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Zoho. Campfire has managed to become my top choice for multiple reasons:

User-Friendly Interface: Campfire is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate, with a minimal learning curve. The layout is extremely clear, making it simple to find what you need.

Great features with new ones rolling out: Campfire genuinely values feedback from accountants and builds features based on accountants' needs. Good luck getting that from other platforms that can be slow to evolve. I am also very surprised by how seamlessly they implement new features, unlike other accounting software that can be difficult to adapt to after updates.

Exceptional Customer Support: The Campfire team is incredibly responsive and genuinely cares about our team and how they can make our job more efficient and enjoyable. They are dedicated to constantly improving the product based on user input. Also, their team is delightful to work with!

Visually Appealing Design: Accountants spend a lot of time on their accounting software. Campfire’s bright and friendly interface makes that time way more enjoyable. What do you like best about Shopify POS?

We started out with Shopify POS on our iphones with a little card reader, which was great. We upgraded to the POS Go when it came out in fall 2023, and it's been a total game changer. The software is essentially the same on the phone or the POS Go. It's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. You can switch between different locations if you're doing a pop-up in another state, apply discounts, send receipts, and capture customer info. Customers can also sign up for your newsletter on the spot if they wish.

The best part is the barcode scanning system that has saved us countless hours of typing a product's name. I recommend it to any other pop-up/flea/art market seller who is also on Shopify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

There are very few bugs. Sometimes the scanner light won't work or something will freeze. We have been using the POS Go unit for about 1.5 years and every problem we've had has been fixed with a simple restart. The software can be a bit slow to respond.

My biggest gripe is the lack of support for subscription items on Shopify POS. This was a promised "coming soon" feature in summer 2023, but was pushed back until all mention of it was removed. PLEASE, Shopify, get this very important feature up and running! People want our subscriptions and we'd like to sign them up on the spot, not wait for them to visit our website. We also like the partner-based model, as that is what we have had for years with Dynamics SL. Overall, we do have significant complaints about Acumatica. I would say we would like to see more low-code/no-code workflow capabilities across the platform. What do you dislike about Cryptoworth?

Overall, our experience has been positive, but we’ve run into some occasional UX delays. We’re used to getting data instantly, so any delays can be a bit frustrating. This might be due to the heavy calculations happening in the backend, especially with our transaction volume. Still, it’s a minor issue compared to the great support we’ve had. What do you like best about Kashoo?

Easy to use and fast tool. It took little time to setup (from an accounting standpoint) and works on all platforms (mobile, windows & mac). Since it's cloud-based, works from everywhere I go. Very stable platform, I haven't experienced downtime for more than a couple minutes and rearely more than once per year (probably due to maintenance). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kashoo?

The mobile app doesn't yet support businesses which have multiple currency transactions. This is something they're aware of and are working on. I've been using this for 9 years, new features are far between. I wish there were more external integrations, as well as a visual editor to produce custom styled invoices. Recommendations to others considering Kashoo:

Try it, you'll love it. Even if you're not well versed in accounting, the layout makes for easy management of your business accounting. For more complicated entries, I've simply relied on a quick call to an accounting firm and took care of the entry. So even more complex entries are well handled. Use the mobile application to understand the full potential of Kashoo. There's a new revamped version soon to be released that will include better dashboards and automated data entry, so look forward to this. Their online webinars are totally worth checking out. What do you like best about ZarMoney?

The layout and screen navigation makes sense. For example I can go from entering an invoice for an existing customer to editing the customer file and back to the invoice with just a click or two. There is allowance to create and use some customized fields. We use the custom field feature for things like customer PO number, tracking number and our website order number. What do you dislike about ZarMoney?

It would help if some of the reports were a little more changeable to my particular needs. The reports are all the basic reports I need, just would like a little more flexibility when I want to do a little research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ZarMoney solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest headaches with our old system was that a single customer could have only one ship-to address. We do a lot of drop shipments for our dealers and it has been great being able to enter and save multiple ship-to addresses for a single bill-to customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
