What do you dislike about Rocketlane?

The features and set up can be a bit manul at times which makes onboarding this tool move slower than I would like. I wish some of the features were more intuitive and more UI focused. Customer facing interfacing is lacking in easy of use and can create bottlenecks. Support team is overseas and creates a less than seamless experience in terms of trying to resolve issues quickly. What problems is Rocketlane solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps keep internal processes and procedures clean and bullet proof. The customer facing URL gives customers a chance to particpate in the project roll out. The Forms feature makes it easy to gather and collect data. The files feature allows you to easily store documentation for each project which helps replace Google forms and Drive. When considering their system, make sure to look at the Workflow piece, Laserfiche Forms, and Records Management as part of your solution; they work so well together that it is difficult to think of using their system without those pieces. What do you like best about Kantata Professional Services Cloud (formerly Mavenlink + Kimble)?

The best thing about Kantata is that I can see budgets and time entries in real-time. I struggled with our old project management software because it didn't include time tracking. I spent so much time trying to see where we were at on budgets before Kantata. Now, I can know in real-time. What do you dislike about Kantata Professional Services Cloud (formerly Mavenlink + Kimble)?

Thankfully, after many years of using Kantata, I've seen great improvements with some of the little things that used to bother me. The only dislikes I have now are the fact that checklist items don't have to be checked off to mark a task complete, the system doesn't send out follow-up or reminder notifications/emails to remind members when a due date is coming up, if a due date is missed, or if a comment/tag hasn't been responded to in a certain amount of time. Recommendations to others considering Kantata Professional Services Cloud (formerly Mavenlink + Kimble):

I highly recommend Mavenlink for project management. If your job is to make sure that projects are getting done on time and within budget, this is by far the best tool out there. Yes, there may be some things that it doesn't do as well as others, but they are constantly making improvements and the customer service/support is wonderful! What problems is Kantata Professional Services Cloud (formerly Mavenlink + Kimble) solving and how is that benefiting you?

My biggest business problem that I'm able to solve with Kantata is knowing where a project stands with regard to budget, in real-time. It doesn't take me hours to figure it out. I know at the click of a button. This has made project management more efficient. One other big improvement they've made in the last year are custom task statuses. There is nothing to like.

You spend your entire trial period trying to get it to a functional state. Then you import your devices and keep going through configuration for another two months just to get a semi decent experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The worst out of box experience.

This system is a nightmare to set up and you will spend at least 2 to 4 months just to configure and get the basics going.

You end up spending more time setting the system up than you do supporting your customers.

La verdad es que nos hemos llevado una grata sorpresa con la herramienta, el equipo detrás, la robustez de esta misma y por sobretodo el cómo es capaz de centralizar múltiples procesos-problemáticas-requerimientos en un sólo ente-plataforma, es realmente asombroso, y por lo mismo es que hoy dedicamos una unidad y vertical especial a vender y ofrecer CoTalker, junto con certificar gente de nuestro equipo para implementar, entregar soporte y hacer pre y post venta. La verdad es que nada, sin embargo me "frustra" que no le tome el peso de lo que realmente es y con contra quienes compite: Falta potenciar awareness, ya que muchas veces la plataforma, sus features y capacidad en sí, "pelea" codo a codo con saas de renombre como salesforce, sap, servicenow y otros, y lo que siento al ser una empresa que ofrece los servicios de CoTalker, es que al no estar en el radar de ellos, simplemente optan por otra solución, la cual siempre (y por experiencia propia), termina siendo más costosa, larga de implementar y en un alto porcentaje o grado de no satisfacción. Resuelve problemas de automatización de procesos de negocio, de operación, de desarrollo de flujos, de centralización de información, de repositorio de conocimiento, de plataforma de gestión interna y externa, en otros casos de comunicación, de atención a usuarios y gestión de tickets, entre otros.

Los beneficios podríamos enlistarlos en varias hojas y nos faltaría el tiempo, sin embargo si tuviera que resumir el mayor beneficio en uno sólo, es la capacidad de adaptación de la plataforma para cualquiera sea el requerimiento, ya que nos suele pasar que a reunión de recibimiento de brief, oportunidad o problemática, no hay vez en dónde no utilicemos (sin importar el core del problema), CoTalker para poder hacer de base para la o las soluciones que queramos entregar a ese desafío, y eso, viniendo de nosotros, que estamos muy insertos en el mercado, jamás lo encontrarán en otra plataforma. What do you like best about Naverisk RMM & PSA?

I've used them all since starting my MSP. Atera, Syncro, even Naverisk in it's early years.... I've been with N-Able for a while and for reasons I won't go into here, I decided to give Naverisk a trial. It didn't take me long to cancel N-Able and give Naverisk my money. It was a straightforward and easy decision. I'm self hosted, and the initial set up was very simple. I was up and running in around 30 minutes.

The portal is easy to navigate. The support is top-notch. Scripts ACTUALLY RUN when you want them to. Windows Updates also work, and is very configurable. The service desk is very easy to manage, and the automation rules just rock! The email conversation with the sales guy was easy without any pushy tactics or hidden agendas. The online community is also very involved, and it CEO is also there at Front Of House too.

What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?

As a senior data analyst for marketing agencies and large e-commerce stores, I appreciate how Microsoft Power Automate streamlines data workflows through its RPA capabilities and it is ease to implement. It is successful in automating repetitive tasks like ETL processes and email automation, reducing manual effort. Also I like the integration with other Microsoft tools such as SharePoint enhances our ability to consolidate data from various sources efficiently. I personally like the user-friendly interface, that enables team members with minimal coding experience to create and deploy automation flows.

The ability to create visual reports that stand out. If you want something to jump out to you, you can build something that does just that. I like the flexibility and capabilities of the system, and the facility to be able to customise home screens to show you the important information relevant to you.
