We signed up for DialMyCalls to keep our employees informed with important updates due to recent Hurricanes in Florida. Super easy to use! Great followup from DialMyCalls right after signing up. Customer support is prompt. When Hurricane Milton followed only 2 weeks after Helene, this service became priceless. We used all our subscription and went pay as you go with ease to get urgent messsages out.

What do you dislike about DialMyCalls?

Part of our use was to allow people to respond to the txt message if they were unable to return to work due to safety or they evacuated out of state. This was a great backup since communcations are not always working after these big storms. I did not find a way to do any organization or reporting on the replys. When emergency weather arrives, keeping your staff safe and in the know can be a challenge. Sending text alerts on closures, work conditions, return to work dates and getting responces that our family of employees were safe, were all made quickly and easily with DialMyCalls.

The quick update and visual representation on the VCC map when an event is occurring and automation that it delivers the event information to our contact recipients via email text and calls. The web posting add-on feature was found to be super helpful because we utilize the Slack Messaging application at work and helps with confirming that the message was sent out and contacts notified in the Slack channels we created and embedded to merge with Everbridge. Due to our rural environment locations at our asset sites, not all local events reach the news source teams that filter out and update VCC with the events occurring around the world. Text em all has been a great service addition to my team's research study. It has allowed us to reach hundreds of participants with a simple easy to use mass text message. Some of the best features from this service are the ability to schedule text messages for a later time, call forwarding to a different phone number, the option to upload a CSV file with contacts, the ease of use, and the fast customer service from text em all. What do you like best about RedFlag?

RedFlag has an easy-to-use interface that anyone can feel comfortable using. Recordkeeping is easy and streamlined. The mobile app is also a great perk - this allows for emergency messages to be sent out quicker, therefore keeping our employees safe.

Customer Support has always been quick to respond to the two very minor issues I have had, and, came to a resolution quickly. Our integration was seamless and we have continued support from our Customer Success Manager when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedFlag?

The only downside I have found with RedFlag is that text messages that are over a certain character length will need to be opened by clicking a link. Luckily, most of our emergency messages are shorter than the character limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RedFlag solving and how is that benefiting you?

We did not have a streamlined means of communication as we have several sites, and among these sites, some have several different buildings on campus making it difficult to use a PA system. We are a manufacturing facility, so, sending mass emails are not effective as our production staff do not have company-issed email addresses. RedFlag allows us to communicate with all staff members at once, which eliminates the time between emergency and notification. Hiplink offers a modular solution, that is to say it offers to acquire licenses according to needs (you pay for only what you need). Its team is also committed to customer service and responds efficiently to the specific requests of our company. Hiplink also offers an on-premises solution, which means that updates are controlled by our IT team, which we appreciate to ensure that our environment remains functional (no unpleasant surprises!). A module considered by our company (Email Gateway) suggested the use of POP3, an aging protocol which is no longer recommended by Microsoft (default value for server management). The technical team at HipLink, however, offered to adapt its solution to integrate the SMTP protocol, but this would have taken a few weeks of development, which did not correspond to our deadlines. One of the standout features of D4H is the remarkable customizability of the software. While our experience with D4H Incident Management Suite has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a few minor areas that could be improved. That said, it's worth noting that most of the suggestions or changes we've proposed have already been acknowledged by the D4H team and are either in their development workflow or slated for future updates. Their responsiveness to feedback is truly commendable.

For the few features we need immediately, we’ve managed to find effective workarounds, but it would be ideal to have these built into the system natively. The team has been proactive in providing solutions and ensuring that our needs are met while we await the updates.

DeskAlerts allows our company to notify users with a desktop "toaster pop" message for outages, upgrade notices, and other important events. This software is used daily for our Network Operations team and keeps our customer service reps up to date on outages to support our customers. The software is straightforward to implement and integrates with Active Directory with ease. All of our implementations have come with the assistance of DeskAlerts support, who although are not in a local time zone, make a concerted effort to deliver a reliable service experience. Integration with various tools is impressive.

Ability to generate unique Email address hosted by Signl4 is awesome idea. No need to host IMAP server in house for this purpose.

Marketing communication during trial was excellent

I feel like Signl4 is motivated to improve its product.

Some staff members appears to be actively monitoring various forums (CheckMK, Reddit, etc) to assist users who have questions.

App is friendly to use, looks great, doesn't eat battery usage.

Implementation took just a couple hours. Glad was so easy as our previous solution stopped working suddenly.

What do you dislike about SIGNL4?

Price is a bit high. Only feature we need is the persistent notifications. We go from 0$ a month to 18$ a month for 2 users for this feature alone. But we can't complain ; Free alternative solutions all disappeared

Integration with CheckMK is not yet perfect. When alert clears in checkMK, it fails to clear the Signl4 alert. Bug exists in the CheckMK add-in. Unique identifier for the Host or Service failure is not pushed properly to Signl4 API. We live with it for now, but monitoring users complains they have no way to know when issue is solved by looking Signl4 app only. I'm sure we could fix. Persistent notifications is really the key. A single beep was not enough to wake up the on-call person.

The abilty to pull data from incident reports and calls for service has been extremely helpful to identify trends that that can impact staff and site safety. In addition, the ease and ability to run multiple types of reports is extremely helpful. The reports are easy for clinical and non-clinical leaders to understand. What do you like best about RAVE Alert?

What do you dislike about RAVE Alert?

I dislike that RAVE has yet to develop an APP for easier access. At this time we have to log into a PC, half the time the password has expired and the other half we log into the wrong site. RAVE is very inconvienent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
