What do you like best about PandaDoc?

I run a small cleaning company, and PandaDoc has been a game-changer for how I handle client agreements and payments. What do you dislike about PandaDoc?

While I really appreciate PandaDoc’s automatic field recognition, it drives me crazy when it doesn’t work properly. If the platform doesn’t recognize a field, I have to adjust it manually every time I add something to the document, because the fields don’t move automatically. This can get frustrating, especially since it’s such a small but recurring issue. For auto-recognized fields, everything works perfectly, but when it doesn’t, it’s a bit of a hassle. What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I have used Foxit for a number of years, both for work and personal use. The commenting tools work well and are easy to use. I have tried other PDF editors, andd paid for a few. It was a mistake. The feature list more than meets my needs. so the probable updates are not as necessary as it might be for others. I can recommend this to others without reservation. I have not needed the product support for this version, and the only needs I had with Support on a previous version was for a serial number lookup. It is a Install once and forget it. It just works.

The older versions worked and were editable by Adobe, though it had a few issues with storing comments in editable format. The newer versions do not have this issue. Docusign is integrated with Salesforce and it is easy for us for send documents for signature process and also capture the signatures in the documents and maintain everything based on the workflow we create in the same record for tracking purposes. The one issue that we are facing in the current workflow is indicate docusign if the party has sent the signed documents in an email, it just keeps sending remainders to the parties. Using docusign in our business based on the workflow we created has helped us in triggering the signature process and capturing the signed documents to the targetted record in salesforce. We have docusign integrated with salesforce, outlook and dropbox where the signed documents are automatically stored in the shared dropbox folder for future legal verifications. Previously we used to manually send the documents for signature in an email and due to this manual process there were many instances where we missed track of signed copies from the parties. What really sells for me about Foxit eSign is the simplicity in which it makes the signing process! It’s easy to use and easy to get documents uploaded and signatures in no time. To add, it’s very easy to integrate with Google Drive and Microsoft 365; this helped me much in managing my files. Foxit eSign is great, but I would like a bit more flexibility for how I make the signing layout personal. This can get tricky placing signature fields exactly where I want them for documents with unique formats. The email notifications don’t always sync up right away so some signatures don’t always sync up right away and this confuses me if there’s more than one person involved, that’s another thing. What do you like best about Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign)?

The best thing about this is that it automatically saves the signed version directly to your Dropbox in the same folder, so there is no need to download a copy each time. What do you dislike about Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign)?

I have used this program for over a year. The older version worked well, but ever since the update that was installed a couple of months ago, there are so many glitches that are still unresolved.

1) When you drag any box (date signed, full name, textbox, etc.) over to put it on a line where you or your client should fill in any information, the text automatically appears in an oversized textbox, with the text floating in the top left corner, never actually on the line. When you hover the box over the line, it appears to fit directly where you want it, but when you place it, the text floats up to the top left, off of the line, so you have to adjust its position every time after first placing it.

2) I always type my name as the signature. In the edit box it shows up fine, but a tiny bit of the first letter is always cut off when I place my signature on the actual page.

3) The initials are always WAY too large to be put on a line the size of an average document. I resize them every time.

4) The copy/paste function is messed up. For example, I use contracts that have a line for clients to initial at the bottom of each page. I resize the initials on the first page then hit Ctrl-C. As I scroll down to the other pages in my document, my screen has to be in a very specific place on the page in order for the CTRL-P function to work. For example, if I am showing the top part of a page but the bottom right corner, where I want the initials box to be copied, is not in view for lack of scrolling down all the way, it will not paste. If I scroll down to where I can just barely see the bottom right corner, it works. However, if I scroll too far past the bottom right corner, barely onto the other page, the entire document goes blank. When this happens, I have to CTRL-Z to go back, at which point the paste command no longer works, and neither does the copy command when I try to go back up to copy the original intials box. The annoying fix in this case is to undo the attempted paste, create a new initials box since it no longer allows me to copy the first one, resize it because as I mentioned it is always disproportionately large for the page, hoping that it is close enough in size to the first box I created, and go down from there to paste it on each of the following pages. There should be an easy duplicate on each page option, or at the least, these glitches should be fixed.

5) I wish there were a way to view any document I pull up in a certain preset format. For example, because of the huge size of the signature box, I usually opt for "Fit to Width" at the top right. This is just another step I need to take with every document that could be easily fixed with preferred settings options.

6) I would like to see a quick option to add lines for signature for those contracts that I receive that do not already have signature lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This used to be the perfect solution for what I needed but with the glitches, it is getting more annoying to keep fixing everything I have to put on the page. What do you like best about BoldSign?

Over the past 10+ years, I've been researching ~25-35 (35 most recently, and with 56 different criteria) electronic signing programs for our real estate business. For our use, Boldsign is the best we've researched... and as a customer, the best we've used.

For context, we started with Dotloop, switched to Docusign, switched to a much smaller hardly known program for a few months and really limped along with that one, and then found Boldsign.

The things we like about Boldsign:

The pricing is reasonable for what they offer.

Boldsign is very easy to use.

It has a very clean dashboard and it shows the status of each of the documents which is nice at a glance- documents awaiting your signature, awaiting other's signature(s), completed.

Boldsign is very stable and reliable. It's not glitchy like other programs we've trialed and/or used.

Document setup is easy, with ai generated predicted field placement, conditional logic fields, data sync fields (sparing repetitive data entry), easy font/size edit, data labels (phone, email, etc.), signing order, routing. You can easily add, remove, change the order of documents before a send.

Templates are also easy to setup and use.

Integration with Google Drive is big for us and like it.

We had questions as we started especially and customer service through online ticket reporting responded, and on average within a day, the most was 2 days, sometimes the same day.

We like the audit trail/ document history.

Provides you with a lot of customization including branding, where documents go to once sent, what website page you want people to go to once they sign, among many others.

Boldsign offers what they call "bulk links" which is the ability to create a template for a document, create a link to that template, and then send that link to a signer for them to fill out. This saves a lot of time and work a) finding out from the signer what info to put in the document, and b) adding it to the document. This is big for our business and has saved us a lot of time.

It is Zapier functional and I have and use Zapier integration for many different programs.

It has a mobile app which is nice and easy to use.

What do you dislike about BoldSign?

There's not much to dislike... so these are pretty minor/critical... especially for the good that Boldsign offers.

Signup requires a non gmail email address. Our business has operated on gmail for over nearly 15 years and this was a pain to get around. This wasn' t a good first impression, but we found a work-around and glad we proceeded with the trial and ultimately became a customer.

Wish customer service response time was quicker. A chat feature would be nice. Waiting sometimes 1-2 days for a response can be challenging when you need a quick answer on an important document that is time sensitive.

Wish they offered integration without having to use Zapier. But Boldsign does work very well with Zapier which gives us the ability to integrate with the other programs.

Each signer requires a unique email address, which is challenging in our business where sometimes, particularly elderly, husband and wife for example may share the same email address. Boldsign did offer a workaround to that in their system which does bypass the need for one of the signers to have to create an email address, which is nice.

Google integration requires a login/ permissions each time you want to grab a document from Drive. It's more of an annoyance and other programs like Docusign don't require this step.

Boldsign lacks 2-way Google integration (you can grab documents to have signed which is most important to us, but we can't save documents signed from Boldsign into Google Drive.)

When you create a bulk link, you can't change the email address that the completed document is sent to. You have to delete it and create a new one, which might sound minor but we've published the link on other websites pages, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Formstack Sign?

Favorite part is being able to copy the link to text. A little bit of a pain that have to go in and get it in the "remind" stage. Would like to be able to put in a phone number from the initial send screen to have a link texted along with the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Formstack Sign?

I would like to be able to put in a text box and type something into it before I send it. It's a pain to have to cancel the document and then go out and edit the document and then start over again if I forgot to put something on a form.

Undoubdtedly, DottedSign is not the first platform to demonstrate the convenience of electronic signatures, but in our opinion as a real estate company, its creators have achieved a great success by offering a tool that is easy to use and pleasant in its handling, the interface is attractive and intuitive, which facilitates navigation and increases user satisfaction, in addition to having really useful tools that optimize the signing process. One aspect that I find particularly valuable is its reminders function, this feature allows anyone who has not yet signed their part to receive an email notification, which helps streamline the signing process and ensures that everyone involved is aware of their responsibilities. Another advantage I appreciate is that there is no need to contact customer service to resolve minor isssues, this further simplifies the experience and allows users to concentrate on what really matters, without additional complications, the application presents itself as an efficient and accessible solution for those looking to manage electronic signatures effectively, and it delivers on its promise. What do you dislike about DottedSign?

There are some limitations to take into account, currently, the platform does not offer the option to rotate blank documents in order to add a date or signatures, which can complicate the process, because sometimes documents appear upside down, requiring them to be edited later, something that not only consumes time, but also interferes with the workflow. The platform's syncrhonization feature has some drawbacks, for example, when you access your account through the browser version, you may have to wait a few minutes for a file you have previously uploaded in the application to be actually uploaded, this small delay can be frustrating if you are trying to be efficient and fast, but despite these drawbacks, it is important to recognize this platform has great potential and it's easy to implement. What problems is DottedSign solving and how is that benefiting you?

Since we started using this software in our company, we have noticed that we are reaching our goals a little faster, since we spend less time traveling for meetings with clients, also by simplifying the process, it is easier to focus on other areas that previously might have been neglected, resulting in having gained some new clients, which although this could be due to various reasons, I believe that DottedSign has contributed to this, due to our agility that this platform has given us. On the other hand, having all newly signed contracts digitized and accessible in the cloud gives us great peace of mind, because the application has proven to be very useful, as its configuration is secure, and it ensures that everything is encrypyted, giving greater confidence when keeping important documents in the cloud.
