What do you like best about Instantly?

I like how they seem to release new helpful features I didn't know I wanted, every couple of weeks. They do pre-warmed emails and done-for-you email domains and accounts (while I don't sure any of their competors currently do that). Pre-warmed accounts save the hassle of setting up the DMARC, DKIM, and SPF and 30 days of warming up your email accounts before using them. Their product feels anything but stagnant. What do you dislike about Instantly?

Instantly makes it simple and easy for a business to set up and do cold email the right way (which is really hard to do).

What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

Hubspot is very user friendly, especially compared to other tools like Salesforce/Pardot. I love that's in an all-in-one tool and that your data is right there. It makes it easy to segment when taking marketing actions. It's also pretty easy to implement, and if anything, there are many ways to contact the customer support team. What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The social media module is a great idea, but it's not developed enough, so it can't yet replace a real social media scheduler tool. The concept of "marketing contacts" also makes it much harder to manage than before. It should at least come with pre-made workflows that are easy to customize for who should be a marketing contact or not. The email templates also have limited features. What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

We moved to ActiveCampaign from two separate systems -- one a CRM and one an email marketing provider. Having the capabilities for both of these in one solution has been amazing for our school -- now we just need full integration with our school management solution and we will be set! I love how easy it is to use ActiveCampaign for creating and sending our marketing emails. As the Communications Director for the school, the customization and automation tools have added more power and versatility to that aspect of my job. What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

As a non-profit, our former CRM had donation tracking and reporting capabilities that are not as well developed in ActiveCampaign. The pipeline creation and automation of several fundraising tasks are great, but the reporting and tracking features are not as robust, and we find ourselves needing to create custom systems within ActiveCampaign. Sprout Social makes it incredibly easy to manage multiple accounts across different platforms, and with their robust reporting capability, analyzing your strategy is easier than ever. The asset library is one of my favorite features, allowing me to store content to use on a 'rainy day' as well as hashtags for your Instagram first comment. The smart inbox organizes all your messages, allowing you to review and prioritize quickly. The smart inbox has gone a long way in helping me remove spam messages, and focus on actual customers. Sprout also makes it very easy to export reports & your content calendars to send to the rest of your team. What do you like best about Simplified?

Simplified is robust. They have continued to add AI tools. They also make it easy to post to multiple accounts and have a healthy list of platforms a person can post to. I feel like they were one of the first social platforms to incorporate AI image generation and continue to attempt to innovate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simplified?

They have constantly changed their UX, names of what things within the system are called, where things are kept, and how things work. I will log in one week, create directions for my team in how to use the platform and the following week everything is different. And, when they change something, inevitably something is broken. It feels like someone in the company loves tweaking the main design constantly- but it keeps breaking small stuff in the system. And, many of the UX updates don't improve the system, they just make things more confusing and difficult to find/use.

For example, they have things called workspaces and team spaces. But, we were paying for "seats" and "social accounts". I kept asking them to explain what a "seat" is vs. a "teamspace", and they couldn't really answer and made it seem like I was dumb for asking. I tried to explain that they constantly were changing what things were called and how things were billed- but they made it seem like I was the idiot.

In the end, I really feel like they changed the terms of our yearly agreement. I wanted a large number of accounts available with a certain number of social accounts available for each account (teamspace). That was our agreement. But, then they changed things and moved to this "seat" concept and somehow I suddenly had way less access that I signed up for.

Is this a robust system- yes. But, watch out- they may continue to change your terms, change what things are called, and constantly tweak the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite has been my go to for all of my Social media management and analytics. Its very user friendly, was easy to link all my social accounts to as well. I have 16+ alone people that I manage multiple accounts for so that was important. Jared our Account manager has always been so valuable and helpful and leads us to the right area for assistance. What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Easy to implement and integrate on your website whether you use Drupal, Wordpress or some other CMS.

Every week I can check which blog posts or social media campaigns drive the most traffic to my website. If I see that thought leadership content on multicultural marketing is outperforming everything else, I’ll know it’s worth doubling down on those topics to keep my audience engaged.

As a business owner, GA helps me see where my leads come from. I've been able to refine my content strategy from seeing traffic referral sources like LinkedIn or Facebook. For my clients, I've used this to adjust our paid social strategy, shifting funds from one channel to another based on the conversion rates and retention time.

I like that the new version of GA (G4) is easier to use, more centralized. You can do custom events to track specific actions on the site, which can help you build really effective funnels.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I wish there was better learning support and pathways to train on custom content besides written instructions or wikis. GA hasn't changed much in terms of capabilities and features - it's gotten more streamlined, but I hope there's more AI integrated in the future. There are opportunities to have smarter insights. The revenue that we generated by sending out automated push notifications were significantly higher than manual push notifications. Also, as the tool offers a number of predefined templates, it didn’t take much time for us to edit campaigns. Using this solution, we were able to update our target customers about their latest interest on our website/APP based on their previous onsite behavior. Before using Insider, we were able to send bulk push notifications in the text format. However, we wanted to explore a solution that can help us automate the process, create deep segments based on their predicted behavior, events, and visits, and engage with customers who had abandoned their carts.

Insider’s team of Growth Consultants recommended us to use their web push channel to send messages to target customers who had a higher purchase intent. We were also able to re-engage customers who haven’t visited our website for a long time. By sending out personalized Cart Abandonment Push Campaigns using predefined templates, we were able to capture their attention and bring them back on our website. What I find less convenient about Systeme.io is that the Dutch terminology differs significantly from the Dutch version provided by Systeme. This sometimes means I spend extra time figuring things out. For example, what’s referred to as a “header” and “footer” elsewhere is called “blog layout” in Systeme. Regular pages are labeled as “blogs,” and actual blogs are referred to as “posts.”

I have been using Close for about 10 months now in Sales. Like any software in the world, issues can arise, but what I can say is that the level of support has been excellent in such situations!

- The in-tool reporting is smooth & immediate,

- I always got fast answers by email and direct contact with the support team,

- Additionally, my company also has an account manager at Close, in case of bigger issues/escalations.

In the Campsite where I work, Brevo has helped us improve communication with clients in a meaningful way. Before their arrival, we send you emails with useful information such as directions to the property and tips to make check-in faster. This significantly reduced waiting times on arrival and made everything more organised and professional.

After client's stay, we use Brevo to send you a thank you message and to gather feedback on their experience. This has enabled us to obtain valuable opinions and to continuously improve our services. What do you like best about Constant Contact?

Constant contact is extremely easy to use - it's perfect for someone who is just getting started with marketing automation and really just wants to focus on sending emails and tracking their success based on deliverability, clicks, opens, etc. I also liked that this platform is only $15/month if you have less than 500 subscribers. What do you dislike about Constant Contact?

The interface doesn't have great designs and they need to figure out a way to allow people to copy and paste without bringing in background code, etc. I found myself wasting a lot of time making sure the fonts and colors were actually how they appeared in Constant Contact verses the screen. I think it would be helpful to have a better list segmenting tool where you can build smarter lists for better target marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Constant Contact:

If you're looking to dive deeper into marketing automation and you're willing to spend more money, I would recommend using Marketo or HubSpot. The biggest problem I solved with Constant Contact was saving time on emails and creating one, cohesive brand for clients (once I fixed the design within Constant Contact). What do you like best about Loomly?

Loomly allows for bulk scheduling as far in advance asn you want. You can also create custom calendars if you have several businesses you are managing at the same time. The option to create custom scheduling slots saves so much time - posts can be schedules in a few clicks! It is a great tool and has made my job loads easier, I use it every week, and can schedule big event posts months in advance which makes promotions so much easier to manage.

What do you dislike about Loomly?

What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp?

nothing helpful, very terrible, dishonest,, fraud practices this may be due to thier recent new ownership with intuit. I will add they had a few glitches like locking me out and hanging up the phone and missing features in my account that were accidnteal "glitches" but they actually have full control of what they are doing and its fully intentional. This is the complaint I have sumbitted to mailchimp compliance. Let see how they handle it. "I am contacting MailChimp regarding a serious issue with the onboarding process, where a Mailchimp employee, Kathleen, took control of my screen and submitted an SMS application without my permission. This behavior is illegal and unethical. I am questioning if Mailchimp employees are incentivized for SMS sign-ups or if this fraudulent activity goes higher up than that. I see the company was purchased recently by Intuit. There is complete lack of transparency on the website regarding token charges without providing the information to customer until after they signed up.

Considering a huge breach of trust I am concerned about other business information being used without authorization, such as unauthorized access to my social media accounts, potential data theft, being locked out of certain features so I can't protect myself, and more. I am demanding a complete termination of our business relationship and full refund within 1 day before filing with the Attorney General and the BBB.
