What do you like best about Instantly?

The fact that anyone who doesn't know anything about cold email can become a master at cold emailing after signing up with instantly.

Not only is it the best email-sending platform out there, it also has its own verified lead scraper, CRM and can also help you create GSuite and Outlook inboxes on its own.

To top it all off, it has an extensive program which is simply better than any email course out there.

Anyone who isn't using Instantly is missing out PERIOD.

What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

Hubspot is very user friendly, especially compared to other tools like Salesforce/Pardot. I love that's in an all-in-one tool and that your data is right there. It makes it easy to segment when taking marketing actions. It's also pretty easy to implement, and if anything, there are many ways to contact the customer support team. What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

The social media module is a great idea, but it's not developed enough, so it can't yet replace a real social media scheduler tool. The concept of "marketing contacts" also makes it much harder to manage than before. It should at least come with pre-made workflows that are easy to customize for who should be a marketing contact or not. The email templates also have limited features. What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

As I fill out this survey, it's interesting that it still showed my old (and quite negative) review that I'm now typing over. Makes me wonder if the old one ever got posted - though I did receive my gift card for writing the review.

The good news is that AC has improved since the last review. They finally seem to have focused on core improvements that affect the average user such as myself rather than blatantly catering to high end corporate accounts.

They offer solid tools for automation and contact relations that allow me to engage with my audience, make offers and track their responses and activity. Basically, the things you would want and expect from a high end CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

While they've improved considerably since my last review, I think there are ways they could be better. While improving many of the core features, there are many areas that lack an intuitive approach. So even if you think you understand what a particular function does - especially if you've seen similar functions in another service - it's best to double check with online tech support (which is usually helpful) to make sure it's going to work the way you think it will.

My main browser is Safari, and for whatever reason, AC continues to not want to support Safari, and simply won't function well in many critical areas - forcing me to use Chrome for it to work properly. A bit of a PIA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ActiveCampaign solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use ActiveCampaign as my CRM. As my list grows, I use their automations to welcome new subscribers and email campaigns to maintain contact, share valuable content and alert them to upcoming offers. I teach online webinars and virtual courses, and use automations to send sequences of emails based on various parameters of how people interact with the courses. This saves a lot of time without having to manually track what everyone is doing. My contacts also get tagged based on their interests and what courses they have purchased, allowing me to customize what communications get sent to each individual.

When it works, it's great. But there have been issues that have worked against me, and that's frustrating. The interface isn't always intuitive, some important settings are not in obvious places and can be missed, and the results of this can be very counterproductive. I've also learned that asking for support through email is basically useless in these instances and to always use the chat - which sometimes means waiting until its available if it's offline when you need it.

Many of the things in the list of "select all that apply" are things that I either use very little or not at all because there are simply other tools outside of AC that work considerably better and are easier/more intuitive to use. Things like the email template builder and the landing page builder. While they've improved these things, there are still aspects of it all that are quite arcane. It's difficult to understand that with the teams they have to develop these features that they can't bring them up to level of ease, intuitiveness and function that other more dedicated platforms provide. What do you like best about Simplified?

Simplified is robust. They have continued to add AI tools. They also make it easy to post to multiple accounts and have a healthy list of platforms a person can post to. I feel like they were one of the first social platforms to incorporate AI image generation and continue to attempt to innovate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Simplified?

They have constantly changed their UX, names of what things within the system are called, where things are kept, and how things work. I will log in one week, create directions for my team in how to use the platform and the following week everything is different. And, when they change something, inevitably something is broken. It feels like someone in the company loves tweaking the main design constantly- but it keeps breaking small stuff in the system. And, many of the UX updates don't improve the system, they just make things more confusing and difficult to find/use.

For example, they have things called workspaces and team spaces. But, we were paying for "seats" and "social accounts". I kept asking them to explain what a "seat" is vs. a "teamspace", and they couldn't really answer and made it seem like I was dumb for asking. I tried to explain that they constantly were changing what things were called and how things were billed- but they made it seem like I was the idiot.

In the end, I really feel like they changed the terms of our yearly agreement. I wanted a large number of accounts available with a certain number of social accounts available for each account (teamspace). That was our agreement. But, then they changed things and moved to this "seat" concept and somehow I suddenly had way less access that I signed up for.

Is this a robust system- yes. But, watch out- they may continue to change your terms, change what things are called, and constantly tweak the UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout has everything you could possibly need from a social scheduling and reporting tool. It's fully fleshed out with so much opportunity. It helps both our social media specialist but also our brand campaign initiatives and we can pull reports for specific campaigns or topics - it's a huge step up from the manual way we were doing prior.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Our onboarding was horrendous. It took over 2 months to schedule the meetings, and our rep changed in the middle without notice or much communication. Our new onboarding specialist didn't even know where we left off which was rather frustrating. We're finally on the platform, but still feel there is so much to know - hopefully we can take advantage of all the various tools within the platform!

There was quite a bit of a learning curve to the tool and implementing it among our team. However, we've got into a good rhythm, I just hope there's nothing we're missing out on!

i definitely love the interaction maps the most. Seeing how often certain stuff gets clicked on pages makes it easy to judge if the webpage is used like we hope they will use it. The system can be slow at times and you cant find sessions that are older than a year. Furthermore, as much as i like the recorded sessions, sometimes it feels like the sessions are cut short or it does not fully show their entire session. What do you like best about Vista Social?

In contrast to other social media curation tools, Vista Social incorporates every element a social media manager needs to efficiently complete all content management chores. I typically utilize no more than three social media platforms or programs to organize content and evaluate results. Given that it saves time and increases my productivity at work, Vista Social is an excellent partner tool.

It has an intuitive user interface. It makes it simple for me to schedule posts on several social media sites and carry out my social media content strategy. The dashboard promptly displays the stats for each article, allowing me to see which posts I may reuse.

An intriguing feature of Vista Social is its Employee Advocacy area, which makes it simple to keep an eye on the copies they distribute in order to maintain a consistent brand message.

Social scheduling is super easy (besides Twitter), and I like that I can plug in images from my photo gallery on social and in emails.

Building an email is also pretty easy, and has gotten easier as technology advances.

What do you dislike about Constant Contact?

We get a lot of "bot clicks/ghost clicks" so our reporting is never truly accurate... which means we can't create accurate segmentation lists based on what people click on :( Plus, a lot of our members say my emails end up in their spam folders, which is not helpful when we want people to know about what events we are hosting.

The AI features could be helpful for some, but for us, it never generates good content we want to use.

Mostly I'm sending more that 100,000 Emails using brevo. What do you like best about Loomly?

I like how functional the calendar view is. It makes it easy to draft out concepts and change up the order by drag and drop before going into each post and writing out/uploading content. I also appreciate the ability to create custom tags for each post, so I know exactly what type of content I am posting each week at a quick glance without having to open up everything. The collaboration tools are also helpful - sending posts for approval and making comments. The ability to schedle posts in advance 30+ days is awesome.

What do you dislike about Loomly?

I wish there was a way to schedule multiple story slides at one time. This forces me to create/upload my content in Loomly, send for approval, and "schedule" but still having to go into Meta Business Suite and post my stories from there (which usually puts them out of order). “Apollo.io Helped Me Turn My Cold Calling Into Warmer Calling”
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I have gained experience working with various sales intelligence tools in my career. I started using Apollo.io early in 2024. It helped me get more qualified leads. Apollo.io has been a bigger help than the other systems.

The previous company we did business with allowed me to compare the digital ad spending of other businesses. I could compare up to three competitors of my customers and see what they bought and how much they spent. That allowed me to open up a conversation. Some customers were excited to see that information. Others were not that excited. Most never spent any money even though I was able to show them that I could help them to become more competitive.

Our company connected Apollo.io to our CRM. That has allowed my leads to get placed into our system. Then I can create a sequence. What is a sequence? I can pick a customer and send them a series of emails. The emails get slowly trickled out. Each email is scripted and personalized with the person's first name. Each email has a call-to-action and a heavy discount trial offer. The system sends 3 emails. I make 3 phone calls after each email is sent. That allows me enough contacts to hopefully start a few phone conversations each week leading to claiming them as a prospect.

This system helps me get verified email addresses to the right people in the company. No more wasting time speaking to a gatekeeper who takes a message and says they will pass it along with no return phone calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

I find it easier to work in the Persona space of Apollo.io. Trying to do single Company name searches is a little trickier for me. Maybe there is an easier way to do that I just have not been able to figure that out yet. Many of those searches took too much time and I am looking for speed in finding bigger lists with verified emails.

Still, I am able to get what I need to do my job effectively. That's all that matters. It's better than what we had before. I cannot say that I am getting lots of return responses. I am hearing from some customers who come back with some questions. That lets me know it's working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before finding the right contacts to good leads was very difficult. It was like walking in the dark trying to find something. What do you like best about Intuit Mailchimp?

nothing helpful, very terrible, dishonest,, fraud practices this may be due to thier recent new ownership with intuit. I will add they had a few glitches like locking me out and hanging up the phone and missing features in my account that were accidnteal "glitches" but they actually have full control of what they are doing and its fully intentional. What do you dislike about Intuit Mailchimp?

This is the complaint I have sumbitted to mailchimp compliance. Let see how they handle it. "I am contacting MailChimp regarding a serious issue with the onboarding process, where a Mailchimp employee, Kathleen, took control of my screen and submitted an SMS application without my permission. This behavior is illegal and unethical. I am questioning if Mailchimp employees are incentivized for SMS sign-ups or if this fraudulent activity goes higher up than that. I see the company was purchased recently by Intuit. There is complete lack of transparency on the website regarding token charges without providing the information to customer until after they signed up.

Considering a huge breach of trust I am concerned about other business information being used without authorization, such as unauthorized access to my social media accounts, potential data theft, being locked out of certain features so I can't protect myself, and more. I am demanding a complete termination of our business relationship and full refund within 1 day before filing with the Attorney General and the BBB.
