You have to pay for different things 3 times before you even start using it! Today I saw Instantly AI on LinkedIn and wanted to give it a try. I logged in and paid $25 to create an email, but I have to wait a few days for my emails to be active. A few hours later, I logged back in to check the dashboard, but it kept redirecting me to the payment screen. I contacted support about the error on the screen and the issues with the pages. They told me that if I paid $37 and switched to the Growth package, the dashboard would be fixed. I paid that, but when I tried to browse the page to generate leads, I got a giant pop-up asking me to pay $97. This is ridiculous—are you making fun of people? Honestly, Instantly isn’t solving any business problems for me because I couldn’t even start using it properly. I intended to use it for lead generation and email marketing, but the platform kept asking for multiple payments before I could access its features. HubSpot Marketing Hub is helping us solve the problem of managing all our marking tools and data in one place. Before we were using a platform for email marketing, our contact form, and our CRM. It was very hard to keep things organized and connected. Now that we have everything in one place nothing falls through the cracks. What I've just discovered is that ConstantContact pricing automatically ratchets UP but not down. My client had a list of approximately 5500 recipients of which over 800 had unsubscribed. They nevertheless remained in the 5000-7500 pricing tier for many months, and it took a lot of time on a support call to learn that I had to locate unsubscribed contacts, export them for backup, delete them and then request a "courtesy tier floor reset" to go from $157 down to $119/month. If you don't pay attention, you will pay far more than you're using. For seasonal users (e.g. once-a-year, every other year, etc) you really should request a "suspended account" immediately after your use. With this, you retain access to all historical lists and mailings, but nothing can be sent until you return to normal use. This changes your monthly billing to $10/month for whatever period of time you're not using the account. Customer Support is tedious and I was unable to use chat because of the automated AI-answers. Hootsuite solves the need to hop around 4-5 different social media channels because scheduling and reporting can all be done in one place. I still like to check the newsfeeds and messages on each social media platform but without Hootsuite, it would take me hours more to pull monthly reports and schedule posts. One of the most frustrating limitations with Sprout Social is the inability to tag individuals who don’t already follow our LinkedIn page. This creates a gap in functionality. As a workaround, I have to post natively on LinkedIn, tag the appropriate individuals, and then go back into Sprout to manually track or report on it. Insider's panel show's real time results and data from each campaign. However, the data is a bit hard to understand without further information or explanation on the panel. Most of the time we rely on the consultant to help us understand where the numbers coming from. We wanted to increase and improve the traffic and its quality coming into our website. We also needed solutions to help us increase the exposure for our marketing campaigns and better user engagement. ALT Text descriptions: In my previous provider, ALT text was added once every time I uploaded an image to my site - then it was re-used every time I used the image somewhere else on my site. In Systeme, this needs to be manually added every time the image is used, so takes a bit of time (especially when course title tiles are re-used over various pages). I am hoping Systeme will prioritise fixing this as the EU Accessibility Directive comes into force in June 2025 and every website will have to have ALT text on all images. It would be especially good if any alt-text I have already written for an image gets automatically added to the file.

I have an automated email sequence with my current mailing list provider. This is copied over to Systeme but only for new subscribers. I have to wait for my current subscribers to finish the sequence with my old provder before fully switching to systeme. A bit complex and there is probably another workaroun - if I had time to create a whole new sequence, but this was a little frustrating. I found it a bit tricky to navigate the sequences feature at first—especially when I realised my initial email sequence hadn’t gone out due to some AI confusion. Figuring out how to re-send the same emails using the new template was a bit of a mission. Previously, we had no centralized way of organizing our customer contacts, leads, opportunities and communications. Close has provided us a simple, easy to learn tool that solves all of those issues.
