What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. I find Deputy pretty simple and straightforward to set up, which made my initial experience quite hassle-free. I appreciate that all they required was basic information like my email and password setup, which allowed me to access it via my mobile device conveniently, making it much easier to manage my shifts on the go without needing to log in from a laptop. Additionally, I think Deputy's functionality of ensuring that I'm within the building when clocking in and out is beneficial. I like how Hubstaff makes it easy to assign a task or timer to a worker, and setting a time limit is straightforward. As a worker, I find it very easy to track and record time with Hubstaff. I appreciate that it provides options for tracking multiple timers, which is helpful when doing simultaneous work. It's great that workers can switch between projects easily if they're working on multiple tasks, all while Hubstaff continues to monitor them. What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

While Hubstaff works well for most of the time, there are some annoyances. If a project has a daily limit and the project manager is on a different timezone than the worker, it might confuse the worker when the timer resets at midnight in their timezone but not in the project manager's timezone. Another problem is when one project has daily limits and another doesn't, the worker still has to ask a team leader or project manager to reset the limit if they reach a similar time to the daily limit. Striking this balance between "keeping the lights on" and new feature development was my greatest challenge. Monitask provided me with the numbers to be able to do that. I use it to see how my team’s time is spent across core responsibilities. For instance, I create projects for “Platform Reliability,” “Client-Specific Data Requests,” and “Q3 Product Roadmap.” When we saw the 40% of our time on sprint being eaten away by ad-hoc data investigations it was epiphany -- no longer a gut feel but a measure. This enabled me to lobby for a dedicated data support position. The clean, project-based reports are what I use in QBRs to show exactly how engineering investment is aligned with strategic goals. What do you dislike about Monitask?

Adding any form of tracking to a high-autonomy engineering team needs thoughtful change management. The first reaction was that it indicated a lack of faith in their expertise. We solved this problem by treating the data as completely transparent to the squad and only ever using it to improve systemic processes, never for individual performance assessment. On a technological level, the tool does have issues with context. If a developer is pair-programming, reading API documentation or drawing a system architecture in whiteboarded scribble inside a whiteboard app, that valuable time isn’t all necessarily recorded accurately as “productive.” We have to use the manual notes feature a lot, learn to flag such periods. It addresses the painful issue of vague resource planning within a product team. In the past, argument over tech debt, bug fixes and new features were won by whoever shouted the loudest. Now, we have a factual basis. There is an added benefit of the two above, which is improved strategic alignment and team advocacy. Because I can illustrate to management why a whole full sprint of refactoring is essential… Because I can point on accumulating “drag” it results in for each new feature after. For the team, it confirms their experience — when they say something takes longer than expected, we have the numbers to make those adjustments. What do you like best about uAttend?

What do you dislike about uAttend?

The only thing I don’t like is that when the owner is listed as “common,” the store manager shouldn’t be able to see it. Also, on the scheduling page, it would be helpful if each shift showed the total hours (for example, “4 hours”) as a small breakdown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ONEHCM?

My favorite thing about OnePoint is how easy it is to use. The system is easy to navigate, and the layout is clear and cohesive. Not to mention customer support is always there is help if you ever need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ONEHCM?

The only downside would probably be the reports. While there are a lot to choose from, and all are very useful. However, not all are fully customizable leading to having to merge multiple reports together to get what you're needing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ONEHCM solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use OnePoint for everything. Before we had OnePoint we utilized Mutiple systems to manage our day to day. With OnePoint everything is all inclusive. The Applicant Tracking System allowed for easy tracking of candidates, quick response communication, and the ease of sharing candidate information between recruiter and hiring manager. The payroll system integrated checklists between timekeeping and payroll processing that allowed payroll to be completed with the click of a button. What do you like best about Tanda?

We've been with Tanda since the early days - their third customer actually - and it's been really cool watching them grow and improve into the powerhouse they are today. Our gym managers absolutely love the shift auction feature. Before Tanda, covering sick calls or last-minute gaps was a pain - lots of phone calls, group chats, and manual shuffling. Now staff just pick up open shifts through the app and we're good to go. It's saved us tons of admin time and pretty much eliminated our short-staffing issues.

The fitness award is notoriously complex and honestly a bit of a headache, but Tanda does all the heavy lifting on the compliance side. We don't stress about penalty rates or overtime calculations anymore - it just handles it. The support team is genuinely helpful when we need them, and the platform itself is straightforward enough that our managers got the hang of it pretty quickly. Can't imagine going back to the old manual way of doing things. If you're in fitness or hospitality dealing with award stuff, definitely worth checking out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tanda?

One thing I'd like to see in future is a snappier overall speed within the software, it could be due to the complexity/ scale of our organisation but sometimes the screen load times when working with the software lengthen the time it takes to work on tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The accuracy of expense forecasting has improved significantly. By linking headcount directly to system data, the need for manual spreadsheets has been eliminated, offering real-time insight into slippage, vacancies, and over-hiring. Executives now have access to clear explanations of variances, the impact on operating expenses, and the status of requisitions all in one location. Integrating direct feeds from Workday and Ashby has minimized manual tasks, enhanced transparency around unapproved requests, and allowed hiring delays to be identified much more quickly. Having a single source of truth has brought FP&A and Recruiting into alignment, shifting conversations toward solutions instead of data inconsistencies. This system removes the need for fragmented spreadsheets and manual reconciliations by bringing together requisition, approval, and hiring data in one place. ePay is easy to use, the first screen I encounter after logging in has everything I need on a daily basis, I can find and verify my time punches with the menu, and I like the flexibility of using the website or the mobile app to log my time clock punches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EPAY HCM?

ePay did experience a few bugs (unable to select facility or task a handful of times, got a system error and couldn't clock in), no system is perfect or is up all the time, but being able to use the mobile app helped bridge the gap when the web client wasn't working for me. EDIT: I was also offered a gift card to leave this review, and they didn't make good on that, so now I've gone back and knocked a few points off my review.
