You have to handle things like hosting, security, and updates on your own, which can feel like a lot. Working with GraphQL is not to everyone's liking and this certainly makes setting up more complicated queries to work with Astro's content layer a little more complicated. However, the set up is pretty much limited to your config file in Astro's content folder, allowing you to use Astro's built in methods to fetch and display your content. Hygraph offers a fully-featured headless CMS that lets you (as a developer) easily decouple your content from the front-end, allowing for greater flexibility when it comes to your tech stack and deployment options. Sanity offers both a user and developer oriented platform, which is fairly unique position in the market. The ease of configuration of Sanity allows developers and consultants to make deliberate decisions that best suit the uses cases for the business and the CMS' end users. Wix really is a fantastic platform. It is user friendly, has excellent functionality, and includes a variety of services in each package sold. However, I would like to see Wix move a little more into the current web design period. Offer features that are appropriate for a social media driven digital world. My experience using Titan CMS has been overwhelmingly positive, and the team is always working on enhancements and new features. A few items on my wishlist include the ability to add version descriptions when publishing a page for use in the version history tool, as well as the ability to schedule a publish for a later date.
