I like that they have ended the chase for lien waivers with the payment exchange waiver function, the only down side is if you make a partial manual payment say as a direct pay to their sub-tier vendor, then the sub has to manually unlock the waiver which can be annoying Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They have yet to integrate email, sms or call logs in the app. I have created a Zap, triggered by new SMS that adds it as a comment in that customer record. They are continuing to work on these types of integrations so I'm confident it will be available soon. We use the CRM to track projects by phase (17 stages) from new lead to finished/paid. Our estimating, bidding and customer approval are all handled through JT. We are starting to use JobTread for selections and allowances, then last week Jan 2025) they added functions for doing onscreen takeoff. Garbage in garbage out. If the information being entered into the timecards is not accurate or correct, it can be time consuming to correct it. However, like with anything there's a learning curve. As all in one as they are, they don't have a payroll processing system. They do timecards and can job cost all labor but it has to be sent to a 3rd party processor (which might be a good thing for liability reasons, someome else files your payroll taxes). You can't view a client's complete file. As in multiple projects from before conviently and I hate how it only opens on the side. I also don't like how you can't have multiple propsals/contracts on one project especially when it has multiple phases I have to create multiple projects which confuses the guys out in the field for clocking in. We also have several issues with the app it constantly times out or takes forever to load. Which is not very convient for guys in the field. Also I don't like how you can't archive proposals/estimates so you can keep them for a later time. Overall, we do have significant complaints about Acumatica. I would say we would like to see more low-code/no-code workflow capabilities across the platform. Also, the security setup is complex (albeit powerful), so continuing to enhance the ease-of-use of the application security would be desirable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are leveraging Acumatica to be our primary accounting system as well as a basis for our operational client billing and management sytem in the Home Care industry. We are using the Field Service components along side of the project accounting aspects plus we are significantly extending the product with the Acumatica development platform. Not many dislikes to be said. Overall it’s a solid platform. I wish there was an easier way to manually approve proposals that I was given verbal consent and if it was able to give a take off of materials that would be awesome. It pulls material costs from Lowes so it saves me having to price out all my materials. It also gives me the local labor rates for each specific task that is involved in the renovations that I’m doing. It helped me give accurate competitive proposals that are dead on for my area. I’m currently at a 80% closing rate for this year so far which is vast improvement over previous years. Expect 6+ months for plans to be in production in a showroom environment, possibly longer than that for construction documents. Their Procure (estimating) product is the newest portion of the system and doesn't do roof systems yet. (But will.) Cost is on another level. As an estimator, there is so much on prints beyond takeoffs. The ability to highlight notes and add them to sub-headers you control (Exclusions, Qualifications, General Estimate Notes) would be huge. Unfortunately, once you start using CoConstruct, you are essentially locked in, as it is hard to export data. Our small business used CoConstruct with no complaints until last year, when they jacked up our rates exponentially (by about $5,000). We were blindsided by the outrageous increase in price. Because of how software-centric CoConstruct is, it is not easy to take your data and go to another company. You are pretty much stuck with them if you aren't willing to walk away from your project data. I would avoid CoConstruct entirely unless you are in a position to walk away from your project data.
