What I absolutely do not like is that through this platform the relationship with the parents is lost. it's too formal. We don't have emoticons, you can't reply to a message from the parent, but I have to rewrite another new message.

It also has errors when I post a longer message in the newsfeed and I want to press the "more" button and I can't.

Though Google Classroom is a comprehensive classroom solution and is continuously evolving, it can further benefit from advanced grading tools, deeper analytics, enhanced communication features, and more robust integration with third-party apps to better meet the diverse needs of educators and students.

The Practice sets on Google classroom could also be refined and made more teacher friendly with possibilities for adaptions for students.

It would be great if Google classroom could have some sort of 'differtiation tool' and users could further benefits from features like single submission from group members and visibity of the group members on the platform itself, currently one needs to get in the assignment's editing setting to be able to see the set groups.

Availing a better and detailed version of the google classroom for parents could be further beneficial as currently Google classroom is more focused on only teachers and parents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- It helps me to organize, districute and collect weekly assignments. It makes file attachments possible like pdf, doc., video etc. and stores all data on the Google Drive. It is also possible to restrict the submission after the due date and time has passed.

- It is also easy to provide feedback to the students through private comments and communicate important details with privacy. Students can also use this function to communicate with the teacher. There is option for open announcement as well.

- It is poosible to upload all sorts of reference materials with easy.

- Google classroom is also being used as a flipped classroom model by me where my students know beforehand what's planned and is on the radar, students can prep before the lessons. In case of absent students, they use it as a remote learning tool.

- Google tools like docs. slides etc, enables students to work collaboratively.

-Google Classroom sends notifications for upcoming assignments, announcements, and feedback, keeping students informed and engaged.

Being able to have a single place for all our learners to access training content, no matter the type, with a single login. We have internal learners that need to track completion for certification requirements, and we are expanding to host end customer training through eCommerce and enrollment keys. Having the option to manage all of this in one system makes it so much more efficient!

Our other problem that Absorb has helped us solve is better access to training data. We've been able to have comprehensive data on all our learners, courses, and other metrics. In addition, Absorb has made it possible for us to give specific reporting and enrollment capabilities to our business partners, so each location has one or more administrators. The way all the students are listed together when you get out of the roster areas.

It's an internet based program, so when the internet is out, it can't be reached.

It's a little tricky sometimes that classrom screen is online vs using google slides which I can still use offline.

The name randomizer needs a little tweaking with size, the box the name is in is too big compared to the name inside. It takes up too much room!

The text size feature is a bit of a mess as well. When it's open, it covers a lot and it's hard to select. It's also hard to click and type in your own text size number. I also find it difficult to select text at all and size it.

More stickers and background options would be great. Maybe some science themed ones?

It could also use a snap to position option to line up all the widgets. Maybe one that users could turn on and off if they want more free style layouts.

It's helping me use a consistent method of a home screen for my classes. It gives them a routine. It is helping me with having all the extra tools/widgets there available that I don't have to find or create myself which saves me so much time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are five types of Institutions

(a) Institutions of National Eminence like IISc, IIT, IIM, IISER

(b) Universities Central, State, Deemed, Private

(c) Colleges

(d) R&D Institutions (CDAC, C-MET, CSIR Labs)

Each of these have their specific processes. These need to be incorporated to make the sofware meaningful. Faculty recruitment, Courses, and Funding need to be customised based on the type of Institution. The Accrediation needs need to be added. The features like NAD, AISHE Data and statutory requirements need to be incorporated. LMS needs to be integrated with Moodle that most of these institutions are using. It provides a basic platform for Academic Administration but needs to include features to enable data to be exchanged with the AISHE Portal, NAD Portal, and for Proctored Examinations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that you have to pay to see read receipts. Sometimes it's helpful to know when a teacher or parent has read something to make sure they didn't miss a message. I also don't like how sometimes it doesn't notify me of a new message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some reports especially in the logistics and finance section could use a bit of tweaking. Since though the Finance department is very demanding on the way results are displayed and with the amount of info they can get from a single screen its a common dislike across many platforms besides Classter. While the platform is comprehensive, the reporting functionality could be more advanced. We sometimes find it challenging to extract specific data or metrics on learner performance without manual workarounds. DrivEd LMS has streamlined our sales training process, ensuring our managers receive consistent, high-quality training across the board. Administration documentation can be hard to find. The community is helpful but searchable docs that understand synonyms or situations / goals would be welcome. Data hub progress is appreciated. Our unit at UNBC hosts self-paced courses using rapid development software for content as well as shells for supporting academic courses using native Brightspace tools. Integration with commercial payment software is a big plus for the continuing studies courses but we can also integrate with student and employee accounts for the organization. Brightspace is flexible and quick to develop in. Decent set of tools without getting bogged down in too many complications. Steady march of new features and fixes. There are some improvements needed regarding how to organize courses. It would be great to have the option to tag courses or create folders because, as it stands, there isn’t a way to sort the course list. Teachfloor addresses the challenges of managing online courses and ensures our team feels supported. The close relationship with the Teachfloor team makes it easy for us to implement necessary changes and improvements quickly, allowing us to focus on delivering great programs to our community. The software has proven to be strong, however, I have occasionally encountered bugs and slow loading times. The customer support doesn't seem unresponsive, however, they do take longer than necessary to fix something. Something else is the reporting features which could be more thorough and customizable. I believe that the Education ERP Suites software has entered the picture and taken over manual operations, reduced errors, and improved the speed of operations. It has helped us organize the admission structure where we could handle and keep track of applications, contact relevant parties, and reach a decision. The software has helped to expand our student management functions as we could manage student records, record attendance, and assess performance. What is there to dislike? The LMS has improved a lot since I first used it in 2012. My colleagues' concerns are not really about the platform but their "ignorance" of it. Once they come to learn about how to use it, then they start loving it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since I'm in education, it helped us keep enrollment on a positive note during the pandemic lockdown. We don't have to provide printed modules to our students. For that, the school was able to save a lot, i.e., paper, printing and logistics. We created online classes with modules and assessments. Once a comment has been reviewed and responded to by one trainer there should be an potion to clear that comment for all users - quite often we have 8 trainers workign ont he same content and each comment goes to each one of those all the time - some trainers now have 3000 comments left to clear as they were not the instructor on these days but still had the comments go to them - it means comments that are actually for them often get lost.
