What I absolutely do not like is that through this platform the relationship with the parents is lost. it's too formal. We don't have emoticons, you can't reply to a message from the parent, but I have to rewrite another new message.

It also has errors when I post a longer message in the newsfeed and I want to press the "more" button and I can't.

Though Google Classroom is a comprehensive classroom solution and is continuously evolving, it can further benefit from advanced grading tools, deeper analytics, enhanced communication features, and more robust integration with third-party apps to better meet the diverse needs of educators and students.

The Practice sets on Google classroom could also be refined and made more teacher friendly with possibilities for adaptions for students.

It would be great if Google classroom could have some sort of 'differtiation tool' and users could further benefits from features like single submission from group members and visibity of the group members on the platform itself, currently one needs to get in the assignment's editing setting to be able to see the set groups.

- It helps me to organize, districute and collect weekly assignments. It makes file attachments possible like pdf, doc., video etc. and stores all data on the Google Drive. It is also possible to restrict the submission after the due date and time has passed.

- It is also easy to provide feedback to the students through private comments and communicate important details with privacy. Students can also use this function to communicate with the teacher. There is option for open announcement as well.

- It is poosible to upload all sorts of reference materials with easy.

- Google classroom is also being used as a flipped classroom model by me where my students know beforehand what's planned and is on the radar, students can prep before the lessons. In case of absent students, they use it as a remote learning tool.

- Google tools like docs. slides etc, enables students to work collaboratively.

-Google Classroom sends notifications for upcoming assignments, announcements, and feedback, keeping students informed and engaged.

Absorb allows us to reach multiple roles within the organization. This is the first time we have had one LMS that is consistent throughout the whole organization, so it allows field operations, manager development needs, and certain compliance trainings to be housed in the same place and allows consistent application and familiarity, inspiring more frequent use. The way all the students are listed together when you get out of the roster areas.

It's an internet based program, so when the internet is out, it can't be reached.

The main problems that it helps me solve are those related to the inventory of books, access to accurate and timely information by users, library management and access to a large number of resources including the purchase of digital books, which I value a lot. The benefits are many, but mainly related to time, the ease of managing and entering the different modules, the type of information that is shared with users, the large amount of existing resources as well as the fast and timely support by part of the company's staff. The classroom side of things is very cumbersome for staff. They find it not as friendly, and students are able to not be seen. Having to update the classroom for the staff to see computers constantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a little tricky sometimes that classrom screen is online vs using google slides which I can still use offline.

The name randomizer needs a little tweaking with size, the box the name is in is too big compared to the name inside. It takes up too much room!

The text size feature is a bit of a mess as well. When it's open, it covers a lot and it's hard to select. It's also hard to click and type in your own text size number. I also find it difficult to select text at all and size it.

More stickers and background options would be great. Maybe some science themed ones?

It could also use a snap to position option to line up all the widgets. Maybe one that users could turn on and off if they want more free style layouts.

It's helping me use a consistent method of a home screen for my classes. It gives them a routine. It is helping me with having all the extra tools/widgets there available that I don't have to find or create myself which saves me so much time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like that you have to pay to see read receipts. Sometimes it's helpful to know when a teacher or parent has read something to make sure they didn't miss a message. I also don't like how sometimes it doesn't notify me of a new message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are five types of Institutions

Each of these have their specific processes. These need to be incorporated to make the sofware meaningful. Faculty recruitment, Courses, and Funding need to be customised based on the type of Institution. The Accrediation needs need to be added. The features like NAD, AISHE Data and statutory requirements need to be incorporated. LMS needs to be integrated with Moodle that most of these institutions are using. It provides a basic platform for Academic Administration but needs to include features to enable data to be exchanged with the AISHE Portal, NAD Portal, and for Proctored Examinations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The gradebook can be a little confusing to get used to and a one stop gradebook shop for learners is not available. Currently instructors either have to create a folder with all assessment links or learners have to remember whether the assessment is a quiz, an assignment, or some other 3rd party assessment tool. D2L Brightspace helps make learning personalised and engaging and is easy to access from anywhere. Instructors save time with automated tasks like grading, and they get useful insights from the platform’s analytics. It’s flexible and can fit the needs of different organisations. While the platform is comprehensive, the reporting functionality could be more advanced. We sometimes find it challenging to extract specific data or metrics on learner performance without manual workarounds. DrivEd LMS has streamlined our sales training process, ensuring our managers receive consistent, high-quality training across the board. The platform's flexibility allows our team to balance learning with their busy schedules, and the collaborative features help foster communication and idea sharing between sales teams. I have been an admin or power user of several different LMSs, and so far, there is not a perfect system. The couple's overall dislike of Docebo is the need to have an in-platform authoring tool that is robust, interactive, and has more options and tools. They just launched a version, but it is very basic. This would allow us to launch the platform globally, as other regions need in platform authoring. The other piece is that Docebo has a Salesforce-type technical approach, where they have premium partners that can assist with dev and API work. Their internal team is difficult to reach, and can take weeks and be very costly to support the platform. The premium partners are great although when direct technical support for deep and complicated needs, it's difficult to get easy support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company was using another LMS provider that was not integrated well and there was low engagement. We did put a lot of effort and resources to build out the Docebo LMS, which paid off as we have high engagement, a deep seeded admin and power user team, and the platform has been quickly integrated into company learning quickly. We were also solving for the ability to provide a home page access to dealers that can't have access to all internal learnings. When a dealer self-registeres, they can take a learning path to receive a product coupon code upon completion of that learning path. The mobile app has improved a lot in recent times, but it still needs improvement, especially regarding speed. Many students who rely on the app to attend online classes also complain about the lack of consistency regarding the desktop experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As said earlier, I consider Blackboard as a work partner. It helps organize content, connect with students, and integrate face-to-face and digital activities. In addition, the constant addition of features minimizes the need for off-platform actions, which simplifies students' lives and helps them direct their attention to what really matters in class. While there are a lot of automation features possible, there are still some features missing that would be extremely helpful for some of the processes we would like to automate (such as adding new hires to a "new hire" group for a dynamic amount of time rather than from a specific date range) and there are other features that we run into with things like Harassment Prevention training assignment rules. The automations are extremely intuitive and easy for a novice like me to set up (and customer support for when the automations don't work as expected is quick and so helpful), however, they seem to be a little less sophisticated than other platforms that we have used before, primarily for the very specific assignment rules we need to follow for compliance purposes. The only other sticking point for us was the pricing model was not as flexible as other platforms we vetted during discovery. Workramp serves primarily as our career development learning platform that couples with our career management platform. We largely use the platform for company wide learning opportunities (training on how to engage in our performance management process, compliance training, security training etc.) and for a destination for people interested in career development opportunities. We leverage the pre-built content from Go1 very heavily as our learning & Development team is very small and we need access to a large volume of high quality content that we cannot produce in house. This has allowed our career development program to be extremely robust and allowed us to support performance issues more specifically and directly throughout the company, and collect data on how people are engaging with learning across the company. What is there to dislike? The LMS has improved a lot since I first used it in 2012. My colleagues' concerns are not really about the platform but their "ignorance" of it. Once they come to learn about how to use it, then they start loving it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since I'm in education, it helped us keep enrollment on a positive note during the pandemic lockdown. We don't have to provide printed modules to our students. For that, the school was able to save a lot, i.e., paper, printing and logistics. We created online classes with modules and assessments.
