Xubuntu is a community-powered operating system and gives users the feel of 'sticking it to the man'. The desktop configuration is refreshing and clean, without the added junk you see within traditional operating systems.

Most of the likeable features in ubuntu, arr being enhanced in Xubuntu. Also it doesn't lag much like ubuntu used to. even it works just fine in a dual core 2gb ram machine.

The installation process is simple, and it functions very well out of the box. The interface is clean, and it does what it needs to do. We had an old Thinkpad x41 tablet/laptop sitting around, and we now can use it for basic needs.
