Overall X10 Hosting got us for their free plan. As our traffic increased we decided to switch to the paid plan but keep running into CPU usage errors that bring down the site, which is relatively still small (about 100 hits a day).

When I first used x10Hosting, I was just starting out and hosted my blog on it. As a student back then, I wanted to learn and also didn't have money to spend on those fancy hosting websites. I needed to a quick, easy, and free solution. Well, x10Hosting comes with all of that. It also has a premium option that gives more benefits, but I think the simple version is good as well. Obviously, this is not used for hosting a company website, but personal projects or where data privacy is not a big deal will do good. They provide latest tools, databases, wordpress sites, cpanel etc. The community is also good and there are articles on basic todos which helped me a bit while setting my website up.

I have been hosting my blog on x10hosting for more than 4 years now and I don't have any complains. They have free/shared/cloud hosting plans and have different value propositions. What I like about x10hosting are the following: 1. A person can choose either free or paid hosting 2. There is no ad even if you choose free posting 3. I have not faced any down time since the time I have been using it 4. When I used the free version, there were not much limitations, at least for a small site such as a blog 5. FTP works 6. Databases can be used as they are available and this makes work easy 7. Wordpress and other solutions are just a button click away 8. cPanel is available to make any changes
