Westransfer, is an online service that will help you more than anything to transfer heavy files, specifically 2 GB in the free version and up to 20 GB in the paid version that will also allow you to protect files with passwords, customize them and storage up to 1 TB. Important that does not force you to create any account to use it nor the person who will receive them.

I like the direct nature of the WeTransfer website. The design is similar to the Google home page search field which is simple to use and gets right to the point. We can basically start the uploading process right as we load the home page. The extended features that we pay for are a good value since we send larger files and customize when our files are deleted. Most of the people that receive files from me through WeTransfer have an easy time downloading the files.

I love how easy it is to receive large files from artists I work with on the regular. Instead of having to go in dropbox, they just send a link and it downloads right to my computer. It is even more convenient than a cloud storage option because nothing is linked to one specific account -- neither user needs to create an account. WeTransfer is very easy to use, both for the sender and the recipient.
