VideoLan can play almost any type of extension file of a video for example it can play mkv (matroska) file which most of the modern video players don't. We can also change the aspect ratio to cover up the whole screen by the movie by changing the aspect ration to our desired ratio which would include 4:3 16:9 or whatever suits our need. You can even capture or record the video or take a screenshot and convert or cut inside the VideoLan application. You can also create your playlist to play all your favorite songs in a order you want.

The best thing about this software is that there is no need to download codecs because they are built into its system and it provides me with the best audio and video quality. Additionally, it has the ability to double the audio volume, so I can listen to videos that have been recorded with very low sound.
