The Unacast data that I use (Pure and Activity) provide high quality and detailed information on mobility patterns. I particularly appreciate the ways in which the Activity feed has clustered pings together, compared to the Pure feed. I also found the support that Unacast provided to be exceptional. I was able to get on a Zoom with one of their engineers so that I could understand some aspects of their data that were confusing me and that conversation really helped me to better understand how I could get the most value out of their data. As an academic, I am also a bit of a difficult client since my ability to purchase data relies on securing grant funding, which can take as long as two years. Unacast was a great partner through that process. We got some pilot data at a reasonable price that we were able to learn on and those data really helped us to secure the money we needed to purchase their data.
