There are several things I like about Slab: you can start a page and come back to edit it, then publish when you are ready, which means that you won't embarrass yourself with half-finished pages being read by your colleagues. It also defaults to a read-only mode; the previous wiki we used occasionally got edited accidentally when reading the content.

Having a single source of truth - instead of having articles and how-to guides spread around various Google Docs and Excels, they can all just live in Slab. Also, has really useful functionality for linking with Slack and Github, making it a great one stop shop when trying to find answers.
