I like that I can create many different options of offerings for people to sign up with, and that there are so many different themes to choose from that really diversify what the different sign ups can look like. I like that there are many different options for the types of sign up as well, so that I can use this same platform for many different programs.

SignUp Genius is awesome for organizing a list of volunteers for an event. The invite goes out to everyone and those who are able to participate follow the link and sign up for a timeslot. SignUp Genius also allows you to break the timeslots into separate categories too. Users can post notes for one another.

The variety of options I have for setting up the signups. Very customizable to my needs. I can set up a repeated event with a click of the button or I can do one off events where I need a large number of volunteers.
