My favorite parts of SciNote are the inventory function and the ability to directly link these items to your individual tasks. The workflow is also a great way to see how each piece of your project fits into the bigger picture (helps me visualize appropriate study design) and it offers a nice mechanism to keep track of progress along the way. I also like that as a supervisor and our team's admin, I can see other users' activity logs to check for updated projects or protocols. Importantly, SciNote's tech support and development team are among some of the best I've worked with. They not only listen to feedback, but actually incorporate user's suggestions to make the program more applicable to a variety of scientific environments. This is a highly versatile program whether you're in an academic lab setting or in industry.
