Run The World is actually really easy to use and has a great interface for any sort of virtual chat. I think it's far more focused on getting engagement and making virtual meetings more interesting than the other platforms out there.
I am the founder of the Enterprise Sales Forum. Our events were 100% in person and it was a huge value that we provides to our members across our global chapters. When COVID hit, we had to pivot to virtual. We tried other platform but they either lacked the interactivity and engagement, or they simply did not perform. Run The World is both reliable AND has a great platform for networking with their Cocktail Party feature. Plus the interactivity during talks works really well with polls and chat.

Run the World has a very fluid interaction model. If you want to break out of the typical presenter-heavy approach, then RtW could be right for you. Participants in the audience can "grab the mic" and ask to come up "on stage" at any time. While it's tempting to use this feature for Q&A, I like to invite audience participants up to join the conversation for a while. They can step up, stay in the middle of the conversation, or step back, like in a real F2F social gathering.
The other killer feature is Cocktail Party which has been likened to speed dating. As with Grab the Mic, you can use it an any time. It's clearly intended for for one-on-one networking, but I also use it to have break-out discussions of whatever the topic being discussed might be. Together with Grab the Mic, Cocktail party enables a very organic conversation that is unlike any other platform I've used. It's heavily social rather than broadcast.
The last major feature I'll highlight is the built-in registration and messaging of attendees. The site largely does a lot of the setup for you in a very easy wizard-style interface. This isn't unique, but it is particularly well done.
