My title is kind of goofy, idk if there are other asynchronous audio tools. But that is maybe what makes Rumble so good. It specializes in one thing and excels at it. If you are doing a podcast, or any interview style audio then you want to check this out. You can send out questions and they can answer the questions on their own time. Makes it a LOT easier to schedule.

To create asynchrounous podcasts and interviews is a top noch feature. It makes easyer to guests to think through about their responses, improving the overall quality of the podcast/interview.
Using asynchronous interviews allows the guest to start when they are ready on their own, making it much easier to invite someone to be on a podcast without the pressure of being live. Also, you don’t need to set a scheduled time or reschedule cancelations.
No need to worry about the guest being tech savvy for a live interview; they just need their computer or phone and prepared answers.
