RocSupport

0 reviews

RocSupport is an easy-to-use software tool for estimating deformation in circular or near circular excavations in weak rock and visualization of the tunnel interaction with various support systems. Given the tunnel radius, in-situ stress conditions, rock parameters and support parameters, a ground reaction curve and a support reaction curve are calculated. The intersection of these curves determines a factor of safety for the support system. RocSupport can be used as a tool for the preliminary design of tunnels and support systems. It can provide valuable information about various tunnel support options before detailed analysis is carried out with a finite element program such as RS2. The program is applicable to tunnels excavated in weak rock under squeezing ground conditions. It is not applicable for excavations in hard rock, where failure is controlled by structural discontinuities or brittle failure.

RSData

0 reviews

RSData is a versatile toolkit for the analysis of rock and soil strength data, and the determination of strength envelopes and other physical parameters. RSData includes RocProp, a database of intact rock properties that runs as a standalone application. Determine the parameters of linear and non-linear strength envelopes for rock and soil, based on the analysis of triaxial or direct shear strength data. Utilize four of the most widely used strength models in geotechnical engineering - Generalized Hoek-Brown, Mohr-Coulomb, Barton-Bandis, and Power Curve. Failure envelopes are plotted in both shear-normal and principal stress space. Shear-normal stress envelopes generated can be applied to problems such as limit equilibrium analysis of slope stability, while the principal stress envelopes can be used for modeling the behaviour of underground excavations. RSData is a highly interactive program that allows users to easily test different strength parameters and observe how they impact a failure envelope, giving users a better understanding of material strength. The material strength properties determined can be used as input for numerical analysis programs such as RS2 and Slide2.

Settle3

0 reviews

Settle3 is a three-dimensional program for the analysis of vertical consolidation and settlement under foundations, embankments and surface loads. The program combines the simplicity of one-dimensional analysis with the power and visualization capabilities of more sophisticated three-dimensional programs. You can quickly create complex soil profiles and loading conditions, and view results in three dimensions. Modeling can be staged, and time-dependent consolidation analysis can be performed including primary and secondary consolidation (creep) at user defined time intervals. Linear and non-linear materials can be modeled. Groundwater elevation can be staged, and horizontal and vertical drainage conditions can be specified. Circular, rectangular or polygonal load shapes can be defined with uniform or variable load magnitudes, and flexible or rigid foundations. Loading can be staged and applied at any depth (e.g. to simulate piles or raft foundations). Excavations can be defined, and loads applied within excavated areas. A special embankment designer allows you to easily define multi-stage layered embankments. Back analysis options allow you to determine the pre-load fill height or time required to achieve a given settlement. Loading stresses are calculated in 3D, and pore pressure dissipation and settlement are calculated along 1D strings. Results can be contoured along any horizontal or vertical plane or plotted along any line. Settlement deformation can be viewed in three dimensions, magnified by a user-defined scale factor. Data presentation is highly interactive, and contours and graphs are updated in real time as you change the data type, depth or location. Results can be exported to Excel with a single mouse click.

Great Statitical tool for slopes at risk of rockfall

We can create custom barriers from a large library also we can visualize rock path and endpoint distribution.
