This is a minimal RedHat Enterprise Linux RHEL 7 image having the instance volume managed with LVM (Logical Volume Manager). The LVM physical and logical volumes, as well as corresponding filesystems, are automatically extended if the instance volume is bigger than the default one. It contains just enough packages to run within AWS, bring up a SSH Server and allow users to login. Cloud-init, as well as the security updates available at the release date are included.

Security and performance is better than RHEL7 and other systems. Development and deployment is quite simple and reliable. GNOME3 is simply fantastic
