Platform.sh allows me to quickly set up web applications with a wide variety of dependencies and different service configurations. Their YAML-based configuration-as-code approach combined with their git-branch-is-an-environment philosophy makes it effortless to test updates to applications or service configurations and deploy them to production once you're happy. Their API makes it easy to build bespoke automations to fit our workflow in spinning up new projects and deploying our applications. My favourite moment was when their PHP SDK showed some undocumented API mechanics that would make our lives easier. After asking about it the engineers dove into it, found that the API hadn't been used in years, and currently wasn't working. A day later they notified me that they had fixed the issue and documented the feature. We've been happily using that part of the API ever since.
