Moreover, it seamle­ssly integrates with our design tools, making the­ process of transitioning from the designing phase­ to manufacturing much more streamlined.

I am a frequent user of SOLIDWORKS for all my CAD modelling work. The biggest help that OpenBOM has given me is to automate the creation of the parts list for my CAD models. Now, the bill of materials can be automatically created for every drawing I export from the CAD model in the same table-like format. I was amazed at how much time it saved me when the BOM just appeared automatically. I no longer have to keep track of every part and component in my design to manually include them in the BOM. OpenBOM also has other comprehensive features like nested BOMs, drag-and-drop, editing quantities, adding descriptions and so on. We can also order parts from suppliers much more easily than before. It easily integrates into common CAD software like SOLIDWORKS, Fusion 360 etc. making it a valuable productivity tool in CAD.
