Express abstracts so many of the complexities of the node http module making it simpler to set up routers and their controllers. Express also adds a couple of useful middleware like parsing request data into json. Express is the most used web framework on the node platform which means there is alot of help on stackoverflow, youtube, github for learners or if you're stuck

I love that Express.js has allowed us to develop the backend of our application without using Vanilla NodeJS. I love that in just a few lines of code we're able to create a server and route out an API to handle request. The documentation provided with ExpressJS phenomenal too. They provide well detailed information that allows you to trouble shoot any issue you may come across.

I love Express.js because it allows you to rapidly prototype applications without having to deal with most of the headaches of node. Everything is packaged in a simple NPM module allow you to import it in one line. You're also able to create a local server and deploy your application to it quickly, or use it to build out an api to connect to the front end!
