The Tiered Libraries are invaluable. So I'm guilty of opening up WordPad and logging all of my thoughts following a phone call or an e-mail update and even though it is a practice I do to this day, I have a nice catch-all that I can dump all of these tiered notes in with each other and never really lose my thought process behind weird filenames or unexplained shorthand.
